Conducting polymer composites should have a high dielectric constant and a high dissipation factor in the low and high frequency regions if they are to be used in charge storing devices, decoupling capacitors and electromagnetic interference shielding applications. Currently, extensive research is being carried out to enhance the dielectric constants of graphite-polymer, ceramic powder-polymer, metal powder-polymer and nanotube-polymer composites in the low frequency region. In this paper, we present the dielectric properties of styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN)-graphite sheets (GS) composites in the low and high frequency ranges. SAN-GS composites were prepared by the mixing process and by the hot compression mold technique. The composites showed a high dielectric constant and a high dissipation factor in the low and radio frequency region. Furthermore, the EMI shielding properties of these composites are evaluated in the radio frequency range. The conductivity and the dielectric constant of the SAN/GS composites increased with the addition of GS composites, and followed the power law model of percolation theory. The dielectric constant and the dissipation factor of the composites were analyzed according to the low and high frequency region.  相似文献

For the first time to our knowledge, pulse-amplitude equalization of rational-harmonically mode-locked fiber ring laser pulses has been experimentally demonstrated using a polarization-maintaining laser resonator without any additional device. The pulse-amplitude distribution of the laser pulses was controlled by the modulator driving power, and stable pulse-amplitude-equalized pulses with repetition rates of 20, 30, and 40 GHz have been obtained in the linear region of the modulator.  相似文献

Quality properties in emulsion-type sausage stuffed into irradiated natural casing were studied. The numbers of total aerobic bacteria, Enterococci and coliform bacteria in the sausage prepared with irradiated natural pork and lamb casing were significantly decreased or eliminated compared to those prepared with the nonirradiated control. The 2-thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) value in the sausage with irradiated natural casing did not change significantly during storage with minor exceptions. The total working force of shear of the sausages were decreased in both irradiated casings but the sensory evaluation showed no difference. Therefore, the gamma irradiation was a useful technique to sanitize the natural pork and lamb casings and to extend the shelf-life of the sausage made with natural casings during distribution.  相似文献

The enhancement of surface–plasmon-coupled photoluminescence from CdS nanoparticles was examined for various thicknesses of sputtered Au films. The improved luminescence with thickness control of Au correlated well with the increased density of surface–plasmon states, which was modified by the plasmon-dispersion relation at the planar Au/PMMA interface. By annealing the Au films to form a rough surface morphology, the emission in the CdS nanoparticles was further enhanced by the improved excitation and coupling of the surface–plasmon modes.  相似文献

Ab initio molecular orbital and combined QM/MM Monte Carlo simulations have been carried out to investigate the origin of the unusually high acidity of Meldrum's acid. Traditionally, the high acidity of Meldrum's acid relative to that of methyl malonate has been attributed to an additive effect due to the presence of two E esters in the dilactone system. However, the present study reveals that there is significant nonadditive effect that also makes major contributions. This results from preferential stabilization of the enolate anion over that of Meldrum's acid due to anomeric stereoelectronic interactions. To investigate solvent effects on the acidity in aqueous solution, the relative acidities of Z and E conformers of methyl acetate have been determined in combined ab initio QM/MM simulations. There is significant solvent effect on the conformational equilibria for both the neutral ester and its enolate anion in water, leading to stabilization of the E stereoisomer. However, the computed solvent effect of 4.4 kcal/mol in favor of the E isomer of methyl acetate is largely offset by the favorable solvation of 3.4 kcal/mol for the E conformer of the enolate anion. This leads to an enhanced acidity of 3.4 kcal/mol for the (E)-methyl acetate in water over the Z conformer. In Meldrum's acid, it is the preferential stabilization of the enolate anion due to anomeric effects coupled with the intrinsically higher acidity of the E conformation of ester that is responsible for its high acidity.  相似文献

The hygienic, physicochemical, and organoleptic qualities of white ginseng were monitored during 6 months under accelerated conditions (40°C, 90% r.h.) by observing its microbial populations, disinfestation, and some quality attributes following either gamma irradiation at 2.5–10 kGy or commercial phosphine (PH3) fumigation. In a comparative study, both treatments were found to be effective for disinfecting the stored samples. Phosphine showed no appreciable decontaminating effects on microorganisms contaminated including coliforms, while 5 kGy irradiation was sufficient to control all microorganisms related to the quality of the packed samples. Irradiation at 5 kGy caused negligible changes in physicochemical attributes of the samples, such as ginsenosides, amino acids, fatty acids, and organoleptic properties, whereas phosphine fumigation was found detrimental to sensory flavor (P<0.01). Quality deterioration occurred in the commercially-packed samples was in the following order: the control, 10 kGy-, phosphine-, and 2.5–5 kGy-treated samples. Accordingly, irradiation at <5 kGy was found to be an effective alternative to phosphine fumigation for white ginseng.  相似文献

Image segmentation plays a central role in a broad range of applications, such as medical image analysis, autonomous vehicles, video surveillance and augmented reality. Portrait segmentation, which is a subset of semantic image segmentation, is widely used as a preprocessing step in multiple applications such as security systems, entertainment applications, video conferences, etc. A substantial amount of deep learning-based portrait segmentation approaches have been developed, since the performance and accuracy of semantic image segmentation have improved significantly due to the recent introduction of deep learning technology. However, these approaches are limited to a single portrait segmentation model. In this paper, we propose a novel approach using an ensemble method by combining multiple heterogeneous deep-learning based portrait segmentation models to improve the segmentation performance. The Two-Models ensemble and Three-Models ensemble, using a simple soft voting method and weighted soft voting method, were experimented. Intersection over Union (IoU) metric, IoU standard deviation and false prediction rate were used to evaluate the performance. Cost efficiency was calculated to analyze the efficiency of segmentation. The experiment results show that the proposed ensemble approach can perform with higher accuracy and lower errors than single deep-learning-based portrait segmentation models. The results also show that the ensemble of deep-learning models typically increases the use of memory and computing power, although it also shows that the ensemble of deep-learning models can perform more efficiently than a single model with higher accuracy using less memory and less computing power.  相似文献

We investigated potassium ion transport in the (5, 5) carbon nanotube by using classical molecular dynamics simulations under applying external force fields. This can be applied to nanoscale ionic-field-effect devices. As the applying external force field increases, the potassium ions rapidly go through the nanochannel. Under the low external force fields, the thermal fluctuation of the nanochannel affected on the tunneling of the potassium ions, whereas the effects of the thermal fluctuation were negligible under the high external force fields.  相似文献

Ethylene/styrene copolymerizations using Cp′TiCl2(O‐2,6‐iPr2C6H3) [Cp′ = Cp* (C5Me5, 1 ), 1,2,4‐Me3C5H2 ( 2 ), tert‐BuC5H4 ( 3 )]‐MAO catalyst systems were explored under various conditions. Complexes 2 and 3 exhibited both high catalytic activities (activity: 504–6810 kg‐polymer/mol‐Ti h) and efficient styrene incorporations at 25, 40°C (ethylene 6 atm), affording relatively high molecular weight poly (ethylene‐co‐styrene)s with unimodal molecular weight distributions as well as with uniform styrene distributions (Mw = 6.12–13.6 × 104, Mw/Mn = 1.50–1.71, styrene 31.7–51.9 mol %). By‐productions of syndiotactic polystyrene (SPS) were observed, when the copolymerizations by 1 – 3 ‐MAO catalyst systems were performed at 55, 70 °C (ethylene 6 atm, SPS 9.0–68.9 wt %); the ratios of the copolymer/SPS were affected by the polymerization temperature, the [styrene]/[ethylene] feed molar ratios in the reaction mixture, and by both the cyclopentadienyl fragment (Cp′) and anionic ancillary donor ligand (L) in Cp′TiCl2(L) (L = Cl, O‐2,6‐iPr2C6H3 or N=CtBu2) employed. Co‐presence of the catalytically‐active species for both the copolymerization and the homopolymerization was thus suggested even in the presence of ethylene; the ratios were influenced by various factors (catalyst precursors, temperature, styrene/ethylene feed molar ratio, etc.). © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
