A kinematically complete experiment has been performed to study the α-n final-state interaction (FSI) in the α + d ↦α + p
+ n break-up reaction at 50 MeV incident energy for the alpha-particles. For this, we have chosen four pairs of correlation
angles for the outgoing alpha and protons. These are ( θα = 18°, θp = 42°), ( θα = 20°, θp = 45°), ( θα = 22°, θp = 42°) and ( θα = 22°, θp = 47°), selected kinematically where the allowed phase spaces are in favor of the α-n final-state interaction. Our experimental
data show strong α-n FSI in all the selected configurations. Also, the FSI is found to be stronger at the lower alpha-particle
energy when two FSI peaks appear in the same configuration.

When electrons are interacting with a ferromagnetic material, their spin-polarization vector is expected to move. This spin motion, comprising an azimuthal precession and a polar rotation about the magnetization direction of the ferromagnet, has been studied in spin-polarized electron scattering experiments both in transmission and reflection geometry. In this review we show that electron-spin motion can be considered as a new tool to study ferromagnetic films and surfaces and we discuss its application to a number of different problems: (a) the transmission of spin-polarized electrons across ferromagnetic films, (b) the influence of spin-dependent gaps in the electronic band structure on the spin motion in reflection geometry, (c) interference experiments with spin-polarized electrons and (d) the influence of lattice relaxations in ferromagnetic films on the spin motion. 相似文献

We develop models for the propagation of intense pulses in solid state media which can have either saturated absorption or reverse absorption. We model subluminal propagation in ruby and superluminal propagation in alexandrite as three and four level systems, respectively, coupled to Maxwell's equations. We present results well beyond the traditional pump-probe approach and explain the experiments of Bigelow et al. [Phys. Rev. This paper deals with the small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) investigation on solution-quenched PH13-8 Mo stainless steel.
From the nature of the variation of the functionality of the profiles for varying specimen thickness and also from the transmission
electron microscopy (TEM), it has been established that the small-angle scattering signal predominantly originates from the
block-like metallic carbide precipitates in the specimen. The contribution due to double Bragg reflection is not significant
in the present case. The single scattering profile has been extracted from the experimental profiles corresponding to different
values of specimen thickness. In order to avoid complexity and non-uniqueness of the multi-parameter minimization for randomly
oriented polydisperse block-like precipitate model, the data have been analyzed assuming randomly oriented polydisperse cylindrical

Excited states of 83Kr, populated in the 76Ge(11B, 3npγ) reaction at a beam energy of 50 MeV, have been studied. The ΔI?=?1 band, built upon the 2,510.0 keV state, has been observed up to 5,639.4 keV with spin (27/2???). Mean lifetimes have been measured up to spin 23/2?? in ΔI?=?1 band using the Doppler shift attenuation method. The B(M1) rates derived from the measured lifetimes decrease smoothly with spin indicating that the angular momentum belonging to this band are generated by the shears mechanism. 相似文献

This paper aims to provide the performance characteristics of proposed, strain balanced direct band gap multiple quantum wells (MQWs) hetero phototransistor (HPT) made of SiGeSn/GeSn alloys grown on Si substrate which is compatible with recent CMOS fabrication technology. This also presents a comprehensive comparison of this proposed structure with the existing HPT structure made of indirect gap Ge/SiGe MQWs. Alloys of Ge and Sn grown on Si platform shows about tenfold increase in absorption over Ge at C and L-bands due to direct nature of band gap in GeSn. Initial work begins the solution of continuity equation to solve the different terminal current densities and optical gain of the multiple quantum well structure. Main analysis was concentrated on finding the external quantum efficiency depending on the doping variations of emitter and base, base width etc. Finally the photocurrent density variations are estimated for the structure and compared with existing indirect band gap HPT. The calculated values for direct band gap GeSn HPT device are found to be comparable with those for indirect band gap SiGe device to flourish as a potential candidate of photo detectors for the present day telecommunication network. 相似文献

We employ a layer-by-layer adsorption technique for deposition on solid substrates of polyionic films of Chicago Sky Blue. Film growth was significant with the increasing number of layers. Photochemical properties of these films are investigated for different ionic concentrations. A significant blue shift is observed with the increasing ionic strength of the solution, suggesting the formation of aggregation. Temperature effect studies show some preferable reorientation of molecules in the film during cooling process. Most remarkable observation is that the absorption intensity is the highest for a particular degree of inclination. Deposition time is fixed at 15rain because adsorption kinetics results show saturation after 15 min. 相似文献

Monte Carlo simulation is a very powerful tool for simulation of transient and steady state crystal size distribution (CSD) in a continuous crystallizer under stochastic dispersion effects. In the present work, transient CSD in a continuous crystallizer has been reported when shape factor and growth rate dispersions conform to normal distribution. For the steady state run, the algorithm reported by Sen Gupta and Dutta elsewhere has been used to validate the results obtained in the present work when the steady state is reached. 相似文献
