1,3-Oxazolidines were easily obtained by condensation of N-substituted (R)-phenylglycinol with aldehydes. Addition of organolithium reagents to 1,3-oxazolidines by complexation with the bulky Lewis acid aluminum tris(2,6-diphenylphenoxide) (ATPH) readily produced the corresponding chiral amines with good yield and high diastereoselectivity. The configuration of the new stereogenic center was shown to be opposite to that of adducts obtained for the same 1,3-oxazolidines using Grignard reagents. The best diastereoselectivity was achieved using N-isopropyl-1,3-oxazolidines. The mechanism of addition was deduced by determining the stereochemistry of the iminium-aluminum complex by NOE experiments.  相似文献

A total synthesis of optically pure (+)-catechin pentaacetate has been established using the (-)-chalcon epoxide (100% ee) derived from 3,4,2′,4′,6′-pentakis(methoxymethoxy)chalcon as the starting material. The optical purity of the product is confirmed by 1H nmr analysis in the presence of a shift reagent.  相似文献

Tris(2-aminoethyl)amine derivatives with appended urea and sulfonamide groups are shown to facilitate the translocation of fluorescent phospholipid probes and endogenous phosphatidylserine across vesicle and erythrocyte cell membranes. The synthetic translocases appear to operate by binding to the phospholipid head groups and forming lipophilic supramolecular complexes which diffuse through the non-polar interior of the bilayer membrane.  相似文献

On the Phosphidation of Nickel by Phosphorus Trichloride The phosphidation of nickel sheets by phosphorus trichloride vapor of 30 and 50 Torr has been studied kinetically by gravimetric means in the temperature range of 400–650°C in hydrogen atmosphere. The phosphidation proceeded generally according to the parabolic rate law. The parabolic rate constant increased with an increase of temperature, and its temperature dependence yielded the activation energies of about 33 and 47 kcal/mole for 400–550 and 550–650°C, respectively. X-ray and electron microprobe analyses showed that surfaces of the specimens phosphidized are made up of mixtures of Ni2P and Ni6P5, and that at the phosphide/metal interface the compound Ni2P is formed. The experiments using argon as carrier gas resulted in the formation of both the phosphides and the chlorides, and this fact could be explained in terms of thermodynamics.  相似文献

Eight 1,2-diarylethylenediamines in the meso- or DL-form produce fluorescence when heated with reducing carbohydrates in an alkaline medium. Of the diamines, meso-1,2-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)ethylenediamine is the most favourable reagent for reducing carbohydrates, including 2- deoxy sugars, amino sugars and sialic acids. The reagent permits the fluorimetric determination of reducing carbohydrates at concentrations as low as 0.2–0.9 nmol ml?1.  相似文献

We measured the affinity of more than 20 sugars with concanavalin A (ConA) by an optical biosensor (surface plasmon resonance sensor) using asialofetuin (ASF) as an immobilized binding partner of ConA. We determined kinetic parameters of the effects of sugars on the dissociation of ConA from ASF quantitatively, and the structural requirements of the functional groups of sugars for binding with ConA. We found that the affinity of ConA for sugars is dependent on its conformation induced by interaction with the binding partner. In addition, the results showed that optical biosensor system is well mimics the interaction of ConA with sugars in biomembrane.  相似文献

A reagent is developed for increasing the sensitivity of the direct o-toluidine procedure for glucose so that the reaction may be carried out at temperatures as low as 37 °C.The sensitivity is achieved by eliminating all water from the system, except for a minute percentage introduced with the samples and by using a high boric acid concentration. Under these conditions protein does not precipitate and lipids remain dissolved. At 55 °C, interference from bilirubin at a concentration of 20 mg/100 ml is 3.5%.Blood may be collected with sodium fluoride since it does not interfere in the procedure. The rate of color development is slower for aqueous standards than it is for serum at the lower temperatures. This may be corrected by preparing the standards in a 6% albumin solution.Results obtained by applying the reagent with the continuous flow system of analysis (Technicon), and with the discrete sample analyzers, Beckman DSA, Lars Jungberg Autolab (Sweden), Robot Chemist, and RaBA (Japan) are reported.The reagent is useful as a spray reagent for sugar identification on thin-layer chromatography plates. Heating at different temperatures permits the differentiation between certain sugars with similar Rf values.  相似文献

Novel Ni(C0)4-promoted tandem cycloadditions of diphenylcyclo- propenone to isothiocyanates and to CS2 were found to provide new heterocyclic spirans, pyrroline-2-one-5-spiro-5′-thiolene-4′-ones and a thiolene-2-one-5-spiro-5′-thiolene-4′-one, respectively, in moderate yields.  相似文献
