Magnetic damping has been studied in magnetic double layers using a network analyzer (NA) with a coplanar transmission line. The magnetic films consisted of ultrathin crystalline films of Fe separated by an Au spacer. The films were deposited on GaAs(0 0 1) substrates using the molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) technique. NA-ferromagnetic resonance (NA-FMR) measurements were carried out along the magnetic hard axis, allowing one to follow the frequency FMR linewidth down to the 1 GHz range of frequencies. It will be shown that the FMR linewidth in the NA-FMR measurements is not entirely described by Gilbert damping. The additional contribution in the frequency linewidth increases with decreasing frequency, and is most likely caused by dipolar fields associated with an inhomogeneous RF field around the coplanar transmission line.  相似文献

This paper addresses the dynamic lot sizing model with the assumption that the equipment is subject to stochastic breakdowns. We consider two different situations. First we assume that after a machine breakdown the setup is totally lost and new setup cost is incurred. Second we consider the situation in which the cost of resuming the production run after a failure might be substantially lower than the production setup cost. We show that under the first assumption the cost penalty for ignoring machine failures will be noticeably higher than in the classical lot sizing case with static demand. For the second case, two lot sizes per period are required, an ordinary lot size and a specific second (or resumption) lot size. If during the production of a future period demand the production quantity exceeds the second lot size, the production run will be resumed after a breakdown and terminated if the amount produced is less than this lot size. Considering the results of the static lot sizing case, one would expect a different policy. To find an optimum lot sizing decision for both cases a stochastic dynamic programming model is suggested.  相似文献

The N(α), N(β)-rearrangement of the two N-atoms which can be observed in solutions of [β-15N]-labelled p-substituted benzenediazonium ions follows dual substituent parameter treatments. The reaction yields a negative field and a positive resonance reaction constant (pF =?3.35, pR = 2.47). The magnitude of these constants is, within experimental error, the same as the respective reaction constants for solvolytic dediazoniation. The exchange of the diazonio group of 15N-labelled p-substituted benzenediazonium ion yields, however, field and resonance reaction constants which are close to zero. This result is attributed to cancellation of the reaction constants for the forward and reverse steps in the complex mechanism of the exchange reaction.  相似文献

LetM be a Hadamard manifold with all sectional curvatures bounded above by some negative constant. A well-known lemma essentially due to M. Morse states that every quasigeodesic segment inM lies within an a priori bounded distance from the geodesic arc connecting its endpoints. In this paper we establish an analogue of this fact for quasiminimizing surfaces in all dimensions and codimensions; the only additional requirement is that the sectional curvatures ofM be bounded from below as well. We apply this estimate to obtain new solutions to the asymptotic Plateau problem in various settings. We study the solvability of the Riemann-Hilbert problem for a generalized Cauchy-Riemann system with several singularities and reveal several new phenomenon. For the number of continuous solutions we shall show that it depends not only on the index but also on the location and type of the singularities; moreover, it does not depend continuously on the coefficients of the equation.  相似文献
