Summary An HPLC method has been developed for the determination of SL 85.1016, a new calcium antagonist arylbenzylamide methylthioether derivative. SL 85.1016 and the internal standard, SL 87.0210, are extracted from alkaline human plasma withn-hexane and back extracted into 0.05 M phosphate buffer (pH 2.5; 0.2 ml). Acetonitrile (50 l) is added to the final aqueous extract in order to prevent absorption of the compounds of interest onto the walls of the glass tube; this solution then is partially processed by HPLC on a C18 column with UV detection (254 nm). The determination limit of the method is 2 ng.ml–1 of SL 85.1016 in human plasma; the response to the drug is linear in the range 2–200 ng.mg–1. 相似文献

This paper aims to synthesize, via the sol–gel method, a biomaterial usable in the medical field. Here, the silica-PEG-quercetin system was evaluated in relation to the different concentrations of PEG (0, 6, 12, 24, 50 wt%) and quercetin (0, 5, 10, 15 wt%), respectively. In addition, Fourier Transform-Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Kirby–Bauer analyses were performed. FT-IR was used to evaluate the hybrid formation and the influence of both PEG and Quercetin in the hybrid synthesized materials, SEM was used to evaluate the morphological properties, while the Kirby–Bauer test was used to understand the ability of the materials to inhibit the growth of the assayed bacterial strains (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococcus faecalis, and Staphylococcus aureus). 相似文献

A numerical study of scalar dispersion is presented to investigate the effectiveness of pairing the v2–f turbulence model with algebraic models for the scalar flux. This approach is contrasted with utilizing a full Second Moment Closure (SMC) as the flow field input to the scalar model. Predictions of scalar transport in a turbulent channel and over a wavy wall are compared to available DNS databases. The latter case includes a scalar release from a point source and therefore detailed comparisons of the three-component turbulent scalar flux are reported. It is found that the transported variable v2, representing the near wall turbulent velocity fluctuation scale, can be used to increase the level of normal stress anisotropy provided to algebraic scalar models and thereby improve mean scalar prediction over that of the Standard Gradient Diffusion Hypothesis (SGDH). Improvement is most significant in the near wall region. Three specifications of the normal stresses, derived from v2, are considered to provide the link from the v2–f model to the algebraic flux models used to close the scalar transport equation. Barycentric maps are used to examine the state of turbulence anisotropy in each case. As the anisotropy in the normal stress specification becomes more accurate, improvements are realized in the prediction of the spanwise flux as well as the mean concentration. 相似文献

The present work describes an alternative technique for monitoring the rate of oxygen consumption during the oxidation of HSO(3)(-) catalyzed by manganese and iron ions. The method is based on the spectrofluorimetric monitoring of the quenching effect of molecular oxygen on the emission of the photoexcited [Ru(bipy)(3)](2+) ion, added to the reaction mixtures. The effects of Fe(III), at very low concentrations, and of Mn(II) on the oxidation of HSO(3)(-) by dissolved oxygen, have been investigated. The metal ions in the trivalent oxidation state react with HSO(3)(-) to initiate a radical chain reaction in which HSO(3)(-) is oxidized to sulfate and the metal ion is reduced to the divalent state. The synergistic effect of Mn(II) and Fe(III) was clearly evaluated. Possible parallel reactions with the oxygen indicator, [Ru(bipy)(3)](2+), are considered. 相似文献

Silica as reinforcing filler brings about a low hysteresis in elastomeric compounds. Aim of this work was to promote a better silica-elastomer interaction by using, as minor ingredients of a compound, isoprene oligomers having a functional group as the chain end. The effect of the functionality was investigated by analysing the complex viscosity of silica-oligomers binary mixtures as well as the morphological and rheological properties of masterbatches and compounds based on isoprene rubbers. The coordination properties of a selected series of acyclic and macrocyclic ligands containing one or more phenolic groups are explored. The formation of polynuclear metal complexes was only considered highlighting the key role played by the phenoxide oxygen atom in binding two metal centres in a bridge disposition. This arrangement allows two metal ions to stay close each other and consequently these dinuclear centres are able to mimic many biological sites, especially those where the two metals can cooperate to form an active centre. Catalytic properties of these polynuclear complexes, when studied, have been reported. Also some of the numerous heterodinuclear metal complexes that have been synthesized are here reviewed, included several crystal structures. 相似文献
