Conclusions By using nitroso compound ESR spin traps it has been shown that the alkyl formates break down into radicals under irradiation at 2537 Å and 25°C, and this regardless of whether or not the system contains added tert-butyl peroxide. The rate constants of the addition of CCl3CH2ClCH3(R6) radicals to -methyl-styrene, styrene, methyl methacrylate, methyl acrylate, and acrylonitrile and of CCl3CH2(CH3)2(R7) radicals to styrene, methyl acrylate, and acrylonitrile were determined by ESR spectroscopy. It was shown that the radicals R6 and R7 possess approximately equal reactivity in addition to unsaturated compounds, despite the difference in the donor-acceptor properties of the substituents at the vinyl group. In a comparison of the reactivity of radicals R6 and R7 with the reactivity of radicals CCl3CH2H2(R1), CCl3CH2HCH3(R3), CCl3CH2HCl(R4), and ClCH2CH2Cl2(R5) [1] in addition reactions, it was shown that polar and steric effects of the substituents situated in the -position to the radical site of the above-mentioned radicals, as well as the donor-acceptor properties of the substituents at the vinyl group in the unsaturated compounds, lead to appreciable changes in reactivity.A. New 2-aminomethyloxy derivatives of 1-(propylsulfanyl)pentane were prepared by condensation of 1-(propylsulfanyl)pentan-2-ol with formaldehyde and secondary amines. The starting 1-(propylsulfanyl)pentan-2–ol was synthesized by the reaction of 1–propanethiol with 1–bromopentan–2–ol. The structures of the products were proved by elemental analysis, IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. Synthesis of new methyleneoxyamine derivatives of 1-(propylthio)octane by condensation of 1-(propylthio)octane with secondary amines and formaldehyde was carried out. Structure of the synthesized compounds was proved by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, and mass spectra. Compounds were tested as antimicrobial additives to lubricating oils. The free-radical photopolymerization of (meth)acrylates in the presence of a polyheteroarylene dissolved in a monomer has been studied. The kinetics of the radical polymerization of these monomers mediated by polyheteroarylene and the corresponding model compound has been investigated by differential scanning photocalorimetry and IR spectroscopy. Based on the experimental data, it is inferred that copolymers form due to chain transfer and/or chain termination to polyheteroarylene macromolecules. With the use of ESR spectroscopy, new radicals generated upon the addition of model polyheteroarylene compound to the initial solutions are discovered and characterized. The mechanism of the formation of copolymers is advanced.  相似文献

Synthesis was performed of new aminomethoxy derivatives of 1-propylsulfanyl hexane by Mannich condensation of 1-propanethiol, secondary amines, and formaldehyde. The structure of compounds synthesized was established by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. Some compounds obtained were tested as antimicrobial additives to lubricating oils, and also as antiseptics against bacteria and fungi. It was established that these compounds are more efficient antimicrobial substances than the preparations currently used.  相似文献

1.  The rate constants were calculated for the abstraction of hydrogen from HCCl3 and of bromine from BrCCl3 by CCl3(CH2CHX)n radicals.
2.  The reactivity of CCl3(CH2CH2)n radicals (n=1, 2) depends on the position of the CCl3 group and the chain transfer step makes the major contribution to the chain transfer constants in the telomerization of ethylene with HCCl3 and BrCCl3.
3.  The reactivity of CCl3(CH3CHX) n . radicals (X=H, Me, Cl) in reactions involving replacement with C-H and C-Hal bond cleavage depends on the nature of X.
