〈001〉 textured Bi4Ti3O12 platelets with micro scale size were synthesized by a facile molten salt method. The photocatalytic activities of the as-prepared samples were measured with the photodegradation of methylene blue at room temperature under visible light irradiation. The Bi4Ti3O12 with the aspect ratio of 35 exhibited good absorption in the visible light region and the photodegradation against methylene blue was higher than that of anatase TiO2 reference, showing that the high degree of preferred {001} facets on the plate surface benefits the electronic transmission. In addition, the layer-pervoskite structure facilitates the mobility of the photogenerated carriers and hampers their recombination. The above results indicated that the large specific surface area of the as-prepared samples could attribute to the presence of a number of oxygen vacancies and then lead to the good photo-electric property. This work proposed an alternative way to tailor the structure of micro-sized platelets to get excellent properties comparable to the nano materials. 相似文献

The effects of a Mg^2+ ion on the dopant occupancy and upconversion luminescence of a Ho^3+ ion in LiNbO3 crystal are reported. The birefringence gradient of the crystal is measured to investigate the optical homogeneity. The X-ray powder diffraction spectrum and the upconversion luminescence are used to investigate defect structure and spectroscopic properties of Mg,Ho:LiNbO3. Under 808-nm excitation, blue, red, and very intense yellow-green bands are observed. Based on the energy levels of Ho^3+ in LiNbO3, and the pump intensity dependence of the observed emission, an excitation scheme is presented. The upconversion emission spectra reveal an enhancement of upconversion intensity when the Mg^2+ ions are introduced into Ho:LiNbO3. The main upconversion mechanism is discussed in this work. 相似文献

Controllable Goos–Hänchen shift of a light beam reflected from the colloidal ferrofluids is investigated by using the stationary-phase method. It is found that the Goos–Hänchen shift can be easily controlled by the local He factor and the volume factor. Using this scheme, the peak value, the peak position and the width of the Goos–Hänchen shift can all be controlled by adjusting the external magnetic field for a fixed configuration, which also provides a possibility for obtaining larger negative Goos–Hänchen shift by changing the external controlling field. Oscillation of coercivity between positive and negative in MnxGe1-x:H ferromagnetic semiconductor films 下载免费PDF全文
Amorphous MnxGe1-x :H ferromagnetic semiconductor films prepared in mixed Ar with 20% H2 by magnetron cosputtering show global ferromagnetism with positive coercivity at low temperatures. With increasing temperature, the coercivity of MnxGe1-x :H films first changes from positive to negative, and then back to positive again, which was not found in the corresponding MnxGe1-x and other ferromagnetic semiconductors before. For Mn0.4Ge0.6 :H film, the inverted Hall loop is also observed at 30 K, which is consistent with the negative coercivity. The negative coercivity is explained by the antiferromagnetic exchange coupling between the H-rich ferromagnetic regions separated by the H-poor non-ferromagnetic spacers. Hydrogenation is a useful method to tune the magnetic properties of MnxGe1-x films for the application in spintronics. 相似文献

A new velocity map imaging spectrometer is constructed for molecular reaction dynamics studies using time-resolved photoelectron/ion spectroscopy method.By combining a kHz pulsed valve and an ICCD camera,this velocity map imaging spectrometer can be run at a repetition rate of 1 kHz,totally compatible with the fs Ti:Sapphire laser system,facilitating time-resolved studies in gas phase which are usually time-consuming.Time-resolved velocity map imaging study of NH3 photodissociation at 200 nm was performed and the time-resolved total kinetic energy release spectrum of H+NH2 products provides rich information about the dissociation dynamics of NH3.These results show that this new apparatus is a powerful tool for investigating the molecular reaction dynamics using time-resolved methods. 相似文献
