The up-conversion processes were investigated in highly doped Er3+-Yb3+ silica fiber pumped by CW or mode-locked Ti:Sapphire laser at 800 nm band. The mechanism is different from that at 980 nm pumped band. The pumping wavelength and power dependences of green, blue and red fluorescence emission were obtained. The up-conversion efficiencies of different doped concentration were investigated. The strong infrared emissions, which limit the efficiency of up-conversion were observed. 相似文献

A 3-D surface profilometer is described which uses a simple fiber optic coupler to form a Young's double pinhole interferometer. The Young's fringes are projected onto a surface, captured by a camera and analyzed using the Fourier transform method. The phase of the fringe pattern on the object is used to reconstruct the surface profile. System analysis, results from a simulation, and preliminary experimental results are provided which indicate a system resolution on the order of a tenth of a millimeter. 相似文献

For the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) and future Shanghai Free‐Electron Laser projects, ground vibration is an important factor and, in order to attenuate it, the construction of a deep tunnel is under consideration. This paper concentrates on the investigation of ground vibration at different underground levels down to 60 m below surface, in order to understand the effect of vibration attenuation with depth. The effect of traffic is also studied using a 10 ton truck, with ground motion compared in different directions. Finally, a summary and some suggestions on these two projects are given. 相似文献

Ag-doped and pure ZrO2 thin films are prepared on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrates by sol-gel process for resistive random access memory application. The highly reproducible resistive switching is achieved in the 10% Ag-doped ZrO2 devices. The improved resistive switching behaviour in the Ag doped ZrO2 devices could be attributed to Ag doping effect on the formation of the stablefilamentary conducting paths. In addition, dual-step reset processes corresponding to three stable resistance states are observed in the 10% Ag doped ZrO2 devices, which may be implemented for the application of multi-bit storage. 相似文献

To get high output power with good beam quality, a tapered section is introduced to large-mode-area (LMA) Yb-doped fiber laser. Output characteristics of the fiber laser without tapered section and with tapered section are compared experimentally. When the launched pump power is 119.1 W, 77.9 W with M2 3.08 and 56.4 W with M2 1.14 can be obtained, respectively. The corresponding slope efficiencies are 71.8% and 54.1%, respectively. Although output power of the tapered fiber laser has 30.6% penalty, brightness of it is as much as 5.28 times of the fiber laser without tapered section. Moreover, spectra of them are measured. It is found that tapered section makes lasing wavelength of the fiber laser shorter. 相似文献

It is the nature of crystals to exist in different polymorphs. The recent emergence of two-dimensional (2D) materials has evoked the discovery of a number of new crystal phases that are different from their bulk structures at ambient conditions, and revealed novel structure-dependent properties, which deserve in-depth understanding and further exploration. In this contribution, we review the recent development of crystal phase control in 2D materials, including group V and VI. transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), group IVA metal chalcogenides and noble metals. For each group of materials, we begin with introducing the various existing crystal phases and their structure-related properties, followed by a detailed discussion on factors that influence these crystal structures and thus the possible strategies for phase control. Finally, after summarizing the whole paper, we present the challenges and opportunities in this research direction. 相似文献
