Object identification from the function of number of acoustic response states

A method of acoustic response analysis to identify an echo signal source is suggested. It is based on the construction of the echo signal image in the phase space and on contrasting the dynamic process with a discrete set of states. A test for identity is worked out by comparing the discrete states of the echo signal from an object to be identified and the states typical of the echo signal from a known object.     

Structural features of the polymer-like phase of AC60 fullerides

A new approach is proposed for describing the deformation of the C₆₀ molecule in the polymer-like phase of the fullerides AC₆₀ (A=K, Rb). A discrete basis of orientational states of the molecule is introduced, and orientational ordering is described on the basis of a phenomenological theory. A symmetry analysis of the molecular vibrations in the Fm3m phase is performed. It is shown that small rotations of the C₆₀ can occur at a phase transition. Pis’ma Zh. éksp. Teor. Investigations on 2,3′-biquinolines. 18. New convenient one-pot synthesis of 1′-alkyl-1′,4′-dihydro-2,3′-biquinolyl-4′-thiones and their conversion into 1′-alkyl-1′,4′-dihydro-2,3′-biquinolyl-4′-ones

A method has been developed for the one pot synthesis of 1′-alkyl-1′,4′-dihydro-2.3′-biquinolyl-4′-thiones based on the reduction of 1-alkyl-3-(2-quinolyl)quinolinium halides with sodium borohydride and subsequent thiolation. 1′-Alkyl-1′,4′-dihydro-2,3′-biquinolyl-4′-ones were obtained in close to quantitative yield by the oxidation of 1′-alkyl-1′, 4′-dihydro-2,3′-biquinolyl-4′-thiones. Transformations of DI(phosphinylsulfide) complexes of Pd(II) during bombardment with fission products of252Cf

Transformations of chelate complexes of Pd(II) with di(phosphinylsulfide) during bombardment with fission products of²⁵²Cf have been investigated for the first time using plasma desorption mass spectrometry. Disproportionation of Pd(II) to Pd(I) and Pd(III) was observed for a number of the complexes studied. Formation of polynuclear complexes in the gas phase was observed.L. V. Some papaverine derivatives

Heating papaverine with chloral hydrate and benzoyl chloride formed products of the replacement of the hydrogen at the 15-C atom of papaverine: 15-(-trichloro--hydroxyethyl)papaverine and 15-benzoylpapaverine. In reactions with monochloro- and trichloroacetic acids under mild conditions in the cold, salts at the nitrogen atom were formed: the monochloroacetate and the trichloroacetate. The products were characterized by the results of TLC (type KSK silica gel fixed with gypsum), elementary analyses, and IR and PMR spectroscopy.V. I. Synthesis of 2-alkylbenzo[b]thiophenes

The treatment of 3-chlorobenzo[b]thiophene-2-carbonyl chloride with diethyl- or dipropylcadmium leads to the corresponding ketones, and the treatment of the acid itself with butyl- or propyllithium leads to ketones in admixture with the tertiary alcohol. Investigations in the region of 2,3′-biquinolyl 5. Investigation of the reaction of stabilized C-nucleophiles with 1-alkyl-3-(2-quinolyl)-quinolinium halides

The regioselectivity of the nucleophilic addition of stabilized C-nucleophiles to 1-alkyl-3-(2-quinolyl)quinolinium halides was investigated.
