The electronic excited states of a meso-meso beta-beta doubly linked bis-porphyrin are comprehensively investigated by measuring its circular dichroism (CD) and magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) spectra. The observed spectroscopic properties are rationalized by DFT calculations. The frontier molecular orbitals (MOs) are constructed by the linear combinations of the constituent monomers' four MOs. Comparison of a theoretical CD spectrum based on time-dependent DFT (TDDFT) with the experimental spectra resulted in the assignment of the helical conformation of the dimer. This assignment is contrary to the previous assignment based on the point-dipole approximation (exciton coupling theory).  相似文献

A poly(2,5-dimethoxyaniline) (PDMA) film was coated on the iron surface by the electropolymerization of 2,5-dimethoxyaniline in neutral buffer solution (pH?6.86). The PDMA film strongly adhered to the surface because of the polar methoxy groups of the PDMA molecules. The fact that no electrochemical response of the PDMA film-coated iron electrode to dissolved Fe2+ exhibited that the PDMA film was less permeable to dissolved species, acting as a diffusion barrier against agents causing corrosion such as H2O and O2. The PDMA film coating greatly lowered the anodic current peak ascribed to the anodic dissolution of iron and the corrosion current in strongly acidic medium, 0.5?M H2SO4 aqueous solution (1?M?????mol?dm??) as well as neutral medium (pH?6.86). The high anti-corrosion ability was due to a hybrid effect of the PDMA film not only as the diffusion barrier, but also as an in situ oxidant in spite of the slight redox activity of PDMA. In addition, the PDMA film is much more durable and adhesive than polyaniline film against over-oxidation.  相似文献

Chiral Lewis acid-catalyzed asymmetric alcohol addition reactions to cyclic carbonyl ylides generated from N-(α-diazocarbonyl)-2-oxazolidinones featuring a dual catalytic system are reported. Construction of a chiral quaternary heteroatom-substituted carbon center was accomplished in which the unique heterobicycles were obtained in good yields with high stereoselection. The alcohol adducts were successfully converted to optically active oxazolidine-2,4-diones by hydrolysis. Mechanistic studies by DFT calculations revealed that alcohols could be activated by Lewis acids, enabling enantioselective protonation of the carbonyl ylides.  相似文献

Magnetic properties of La-Co substituted M-type strontium hexaferrites were studied. The samples were prepared by polymerizable complex method. Crystal structure of samples has been investigated by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD). Single-phase M-type strontium hexaferrites with chemical composition of Sr1.05−xLaxFe12−xCoxO19 (x=0-0.4) were formed by heating at 1173 K for 24 h in air. Magnetic properties were discussed by measurements of M-H curves with vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). La-Co substituted M-type strontium hexaferrites prepared by polymerizable complex method showed typical magnetic hysteresis of hard ferrite. The coercive force increased significantly by La-Co substitution with polymerizable complex method. Maximum coercive force achieved in this study is 8.0 kOe (640 kA/m). Scanning electron microscopy revealed that the prepared ferrite particles have plate-like shape of diameter range between 20 and 500 nm.  相似文献

Non‐targeted nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)‐based metabolic profiling was applied to potato leaves to survey metabolic changes associated with late blight resistance under field conditions. Potato plants were grown in an experimental field, and the compound leaves with no visible symptoms were collected from 20 cultivars/lines at two sampling time points: (i) the time of initial presentation of symptoms in susceptible cultivars and (ii) 12 days before this initiation. 1H NMR spectra of the foliar metabolites soluble in deuterium oxide‐ or methanol‐d4‐based buffers were measured and used for multivariate analysis. Principal component analysis for six cultivars at symptom initiation showed a class separation corresponding to their levels of late blight resistance. This separation was primarily explained by higher levels of malic acid, methanol, and rutin and a lower level of sucrose in the resistant cultivars than in the susceptible ones. Partial least squares regression revealed that the levels of these metabolites were strongly associated with the disease severity measured in this study under field conditions. These associations were observed only for the leaves harvested at the symptom initiation stage, but not for those collected 12 days beforehand. Subsequently, a simple, alternative enzymatic assay for l ‐malic acid was used to estimate late blight resistance, as a model for applying the potential metabolic marker obtained. This study demonstrated the potential of metabolomics for field‐grown plants in combination with targeted methods for quantifying marker levels, moving towards marker‐assisted screening of new cultivars with durable late blight resistance. We have demonstrated that prenylation of p-halophenols was dependent on the solvent effect and succeeded in o,o'-diprenylation of p-halophenols in water. Following the Mizoroki-Heck coupling of the diprenyl-p-iodophenol 3c with methyl acrylate and then hydrolysis, we first synthesized artepillin C [3-(4-hydroxy-3,5-di(3-methyl-2-butenyl)phenyl)-2(E)-propenoic acid] (1), which is a biologically active constituent of propolis. These reactions may be applicable to the synthesis of various useful natural products such as 2,4,6-trisubstituted phenol derivatives.  相似文献

Waveguide Bragg gratings were fabricated by plasma-enhanced chemical-vapor deposition followed by irradiation with KrF excimer laser light through a phase mask. The period of the Bragg grating was 0.53 mum, and the Bragg wavelength was ~1.53 mum . The temperature dependence of the Bragg wavelength was 11 pm/ degrees C for a 10GeO(2) -90SiO(2)(mol.%) core waveguide on a Si substrate, and the Bragg wavelength shift was successfully reduced to 5.0pm/ degrees C by use of a 14GeO(2)-12B(2)O(3)-74SiO(2) (mol.%) core and a crystallized glass substrate with a thermal-expansion coefficient of -2.0x10(-6)(/ degrees C) .  相似文献

The LET distributions during the Space Shuttle missions STS-84 (altitude 270-412 km, average 375 km; inclination angle, 51.6 degrees) and STS-91 (altitude 328-397 km, average 373 km; inclination angle, 51.6 degrees) were measured using CR-39 plastic nuclear track detectors. A correction for the dip-angle dependence of the track-formation sensitivity of the CR-39 plates was applied to the data analysis. The absorbed doses and the dose equivalents around RRMD Detector Units, estimated from the LET distributions in the LET region of 4-200 keV/micrometers, fluctuated with standard deviations of +/- 21% to +/- 35% in both flight experiments. The LET distributions obtained from the CR-39 plates agreed well with that obtained from RRMD-II in STS-91. However, the particle fluxes obtained from RRMD-III in STS-84 and STS-91 were two or three times higher than those obtained from RRMD-II and the CR-39 plates. It was concluded that the LET distributions obtained from RRMD-II and the CR-39 plates in the present flight experiments did not include the contribution of target-fragmented secondary heavy particles produced by low-LET particles, such as relativistic or semi-relativistic protons and helium ions, whereas RRMD-III was able to detect these secondary particles because of its low triggering level.  相似文献

We investigate numerically the dynamical behaviour of a polymer chain collapsing in a dilute solution. The rate of collapse is measured with and without the presence of hydrodynamic interactions. We find that hydrodynamic interactions both accelerate polymer collapse and alter the folding pathway.  相似文献
