A study of hadronic shower development in the ECAL of the alpha magnetic spectrometer Ⅱ

In this paper, we studied the development of hadronic shower in an electromagnetic calorimeter of Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer Ⅱ. Two parametrized empirical formulae were proposed to describe the hadronic shower shape in calorimeter. Using 100 GeV proton beam incident on the center of the ECAL, detailed plots of lateral and longitudinal hadronic shower behavior were given and we found the formulae can describe the development of the hadronic shower with the test beam data. The possible application of the parametrized formulae including e^±-π^± discrimination and tau jet reconstruction was discussed.     

13C （α,n） 16O background in a liquid scintillator based neutrino experiment

α from natural radioactivity may interact with a nucleus and emit a neutron. The reaction introduces the background to the liquid scintillator （LS） based neutrino experiments. In the LS detector,α comes from 23Su, 232Th, and 210Po decay chains. For Gadolinium-doped LS （Gd-LS） detector, α also comes from 227Ac. The nucleus 13C is a natural component of Carbon which is rich in the LS. The background rate and spectrum should be subtracted carefully from the neutrino candidates. This paper describes the calculation of neutron yield and spectrum with uncertainty estimated. The results are relevant for many existing neutrino experiments and future LS or Gd-LS based experiments.     

周边硅笼取代的混杂酞菁卟啉三层铽单分子磁体

通过在铽的酞菁卟啉混杂三层的卟啉周边共价连接体积庞大的笼型倍半硅氧烷(POSS), 得到了首个包含POSS的混杂三层Tb₂(Pc)[T(OPOSS)₄PP]₂ (1)[H₂Pc=phthalocyanine;H₂T(OPOSS)₄PP=5, 10, 15, 20-tetra{[[N-[heptakis(isobutyl)propoxy]phenyl]octasiloxane]}porphyrin]。为了对比研究, 同时合成了类似的三层化合物Tb₂(Pc)(TPP)₂(2)(H₂TPP=5,10,15,20-tetraphenyporphyrin)。尤其值得注意的是, 在没有外加磁场的条件下, Tb₂(Pc)[T(OPOSS)₄PP]₂(1)和Tb₂(Pc)(TPP)₂(2)分别表现出单分子磁体和非单分子磁体的性质, 这充分说明了共价连接均匀分布的POSS基团有效地分离了磁性核心, 从而改善了酞菁卟啉混杂三层的磁性。     

四象限探测器镜头光学质量的检测系统设计

在激光制导中,四象限探测器镜头的光学质量决定了目标定位的精度。鉴于此,设计一种非接触式检测四象限探测器镜头光学质量的系统,该系统能够对四象限探测器镜头的光学质量进行在线批量检测。首先将激光光源整形扩束准直为平顶光束,然后通过四象限探测器镜头在磨砂玻璃上显像,最后通过非接触式长工作距离的显微物镜成像在探测器上以探测光斑的形状、位置及均匀度。设计结果表明,此系统能够有效单独对四象限探测器镜头的光学质量进行批量检测,从而提高四象限探测器镜头的品控,有助于提升四象限激光制导探测系统的整体质量。     

具有竞争风险的步进应力加速寿命试验的最优设计和Bayes估计

讨论了渐进II型截尾数据中具有竞争风险的步进应力加速寿命试验的最优试验设计和参数估计.通过假定产品寿命服从Weibull分布,尺度参数对数是应力水平的线性函数基础上,利用KH模型采用极大似然方法和Bayes方法对模型参数进行了点估计和区间估计,而最优试验设计是使尺度参数对数的极大似然估计值在正常应力水平下的渐进方差达到最小.最后进行了仿真研究,结果显示提出的估计量具有良好的稳健性和有效性.
