Summary. Coupling reactions of a number of aliphatic, aromatic, and heterocyclic compounds bearing an acidic hydrogen atom attached to sulfur, with alkyl, acyl, benzyl, or benzoyl halides in acetonitrile with cesium fluoride-Celite are described. This procedure is convenient, efficient, and practical for the preparation of thioethers and thioesters.  相似文献

Summary The influence of the solvent on the spin-equilibrium of [Fe(bzimpy)2](ClO4)2 (bzimpy=2,6-bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)pyridine) has been investigated in several nonaqueous solvents by means of UV-Vis spectroscopy and magnetic susceptibility measurements. In methanol, a bis-tris ligation equilibrium is found. Both, the FeL 2 2+ and FeL 3 2+ species show spin-crossover behaviour in solution. Photometric and magnetic properties of the complex in various solvents are related. The spin-equilibrium of [Fe(bzimpy)2](ClO4)2 shows the strongest sensitivity towards changes of the solvent that has ever been observed for spin-crossover compounds. Increase in solvent donor number (DN) from DN=14.1 (Acetonitril) to DN=19.1 (Methanol) causes a shift from exp=4.21 (78% High-Spin (HS)) to exp=3.0 (56% HS). In solvents with DN 30 deprotonation of the complex occurs yielding a low-spin species. The solvent effects are discussed in terms of the donor-acceptor concept.Dedicated to Professor Harry J. Emeléus with heartiest congratulations to his 90th birthday on 22th June 1993.  相似文献

Abstract  A series of dinuclear Fe(III) complexes was synthesized in which the Schiff-base blocking ligand L5 coordinates each of the centers which are linked by a bidentate, bipyridine-type ligand. For these systems, [L5FeIII{bridge}FeIIIL5](BPh4)2, thermally induced spin crossover is observed. The corollary of the systems is that the spin crossover interferes with the magnetic exchange interaction. The overlap of the energy bands of the LL and HH reference states (L, low-spin; H, high-spin) causes the exchange interaction to act against the spin crossover (leading to incompleteness or gradual behavior). The heterometallic complex [Cu(VO)2(C10H8N2)2(C2O4)3·2H2O] has been prepared and characterised by electronic and IR spectra, molecular electrical conductivity and thermal behaviour. A polymeric structure is proposed with oxalate and 4,4′-dipyridine acting as bridging ligands and VO(IV) of C4v symmetry and Cu(II) in octahedral surrounding the oxalate anion V4h.  相似文献

Electronic states of tetrahydrofuran molecules were studied in the excitation energy range 5.5-10 eV using the technique of electron energy loss spectroscopy in the gas phase. Excitation from the two conformations, C(2) and C(s), of the ground state of the molecule are observed in the measured energy loss spectra. The vertical excitation energies of the (3)(n(o)3s) triplet state from the C(2) and C(s) conformations of the ground state of the molecule are determined to be 6.03 ± 0.02 and 6.25 ± 0.02 eV, respectively. The singlet-triplet energy splitting for the n(o)3s configuration is determined to be 0.31 eV. It is also found that excitation from the C(s) conformation of the ground state has a higher cross section than that from the C(2) conformation.  相似文献

The approach of molecular potentials describing the shape of transition curves of spin crossover in the solid state developed earlier has been extended to many-body interactions characterized by the Axilrod-Teller potential. An improved procedure for the minimization of energy developed for this case is presented. Calculations for systems involving Lennard-Jones, electric dipole–dipole, and dispersive Axilrod-Teller triple interactions yield non-zero asymmetries of splittings in expanded/compressed systems alone. The excess energy is unaffected by the Axilrod-Teller potential. Triple interactions of the Axilrod-Teller type thus increase the sensitivity of a transition curve towards compression. Another approach presented employs the deviations of molecules from positions of mechanical equilibrium set up by the known binary potential. In the approximation of small perturbations these deviations are proportional to the gradients of many-center potentials. This allows one to parametrically define non-ideality parameters as functions of gradients of triple potentials of unknown types. Employing regularization bounds an adequate parameterization of experimental transition curve of spin crossover has been achieved in terms of parameters of Lennard-Jones potential and relative deviations of molecules from the position of mechanical equilibrium.  相似文献

The phenomenological, kinetic and mechanistic aspects of thermal decomposition of perchlorate, nitrate, chloride, bromide and iodide complexes of cobalt(II) with the Schiff base 1,2-bis(imino-4'-antipyrinyl)ethane (GA) have been studied by TG and DTG analyses. The kinetic parameters like the activation energy, pre-exponential factor and entropy of activation were calculated. The decomposition reactions follow 'random nucleation with one nucleus on each particle - Mampel model'. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献
