For a large class of non-local, non separable potentials with non-compact support, the solution of the radial integrodifferential equation may be reduced to the solution of a homogeneous linear integral equation of Fredholm type with a quadratically integrable kernel. In this way we derive expansions of the wave functions and the Green's function of the Schrödinger equation with a non-local potential in terms of bound states, resonant states and a continuum of scattering functions with complex wave number. The rules of normalization, orthogonality and completeness satisfied by the eigenstates of the Schrödinger equation belonging to complex eigenvalues with Im En < 0, (Gamow or resonant states) are also derived. Finally, by means of a realistic example, it is shown how to use these expansions to exhibit the resonant behaviour of the differential cross section. Explicit expressions for the transition amplitudes and the partial widths in terms of expectation values of operators computed with Gamow functions are given. 相似文献

Summary We investigate the transition from two-frequency quasiperiodicity to chaotic behavior in a model for a quasiperiodically driven
magnetoelastic ribbon. The model system is a two-frequency parametrically driven Duffing oscillator. As a driving parameter
is increased, the route to chaos takes place in four distinct stages. The first stage is a torus-doubling bifurcation. The
second stage is a transition from the doubled torus to a strange nonchaotic attractor. The third stage is a transition from
the strange nonchaotic attractor to a geometrically similar chaotic attractor. The final stage is a hard transition to a much
larger chaotic attractor. This latter transition arises as the result of acrisis, the characterization of which is one of our primary concerns. Numerical evidence is given to indicate that the crisis arises
from the collision of the chaotic attractor with the stable manifold of a saddle torus. Intermittent bursting behavior is
present after the crisis with the mean time between bursts scaling as a power law in the distance from the critical control
parameter; τ ∼ (A-Ac)-α. The critical exponent is computed numerically, yielding the value α=1.03±0.01. Theoretical justification is given for the
computed critical exponent. Finally, a Melnikov analysis is performed, yielding an expression for transverse crossings of
the stable and unstable manifolds of the crisis-initiating saddle torus. 相似文献

Dynamically obtained current/voltage curves of bilayer lipid membranes partitioning a solution of lipophilic ions are compared with the results of the type expected in a voltammetry experiment involving ionic transport across a liquid/liquid interface. Lipophilic ions yielding “voltammograms” analogous to reversible and irreversible voltammograms (in conventional electrochemical systems) are reported. Also reported are examples of ions which yield what may be analogous to a masked response, a phenomenon known in the literature of liquid/liquid interfaces. Although the behavior of the two systems is similar, there exist differences in the interpretation of the voltammograms and suggestions are offered for an energetic and mechanistic interpretation of the membrane voltammogram. 相似文献

The nanocrystal samples of titanium dioxide doped with europium ion (Eu3+/TiO2 nanocrystal) are synthesized by the sol-gel method with hydrothermal treatment. The Eu3+ contents (molar ratio) in the samples are 0, 0.5%, 1%, 2%, 3% and 4%. The X-ray diffraction, UV-Vis spectroscopy data and scanning electron microscope image show that crystallite size is reduced by the doping of Eu3+ into TiO2. Comparing the Raman spectra of TiO2 with Eu3+/TiO2 (molar ratio Eu3+/TiO2=1%, 2% and 4%) nanocrystals at different annealing temperatures indicates that the anatase-to-rutile phase transformation temperatures of Eu3+/TiO2 nanocrystals are higher than that of TiO2. This is due to the formation of Eu-O-Ti bonds on the surface of the TiO2 crystallite, as characterized by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The photoluminescence spectra of TiO2 in Eu3+/TiO2 nanocrystals are interpreted by the surface self-trapped and defect-trapped exciton relaxation. The photoluminescence of Eu3+ in Eu3+/TiO2 nanocrystals has the strongest emission intensity at 2% of Eu3+ concentration. 相似文献

Barotropic FRW cosmologies are presented from the standpoint of nonrelativistic supersymmetry. First, we reduce the barotropic FRW system of differential equations to simple harmonic oscillator differential equations. Employing the factorization procedure, the solutions of the latter equations are divided into the two classes of bosonic (nonsingular) and fermionic (singular) cosmological solutions. We next introduce a coupling parameter denoted by K between the two classes of solutions and obtain barotropic cosmologies with dissipative features acting on the scale factors and spatial curvature of the universe. The K-extended FRW equations in comoving time are presented in explicit form in the low coupling regime. The standard barotropic FRW cosmologies correspond to the dissipationless limit K = 0. 相似文献

Ridge-waveguide InGaAsN triple-quantum-well strain-compensated lasers grown by metal organic chemical vapor deposition were fabricated with pulsed anodic oxidation. The laser’s output power reached 145 mW in continuous-wave mode at room temperature for a 4-?m -stripe-width laser. Continuous-wave single longitudinal mode operation was maintained at a high injection current level with a wavelength of 1287.3 nm at room temperature. Single longitudinal mode operation at 1317.2 nm was achieved at twice the threshold current at 100 °C. The band gap of InGaAsN in the quantum wells at different temperatures was calculated and compared to the measured temperature-dependent laser wavelength. 相似文献

Direct measurement of fluid velocity gradients at a wall by PIV image processing with stereo reconstruction 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Velocity gradient is typically estimated in Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) by differentiating a measured velocity field,
which amplifies noise in the measured velocities. If gradients near a boundary are sought, such noise is usually greater than
in bulk fluid, because of small tracer displacement, uncertainty in the effective positions of velocity vectors, intense deformation
of tracer patterns, and laser reflection. We consider here a modified form of the Particle Image Distortion (PID) method todirectly calculate velocity gradients at a fixed wall, and refer it as “PIV/IG” (“Interface Gradiometry”). Results from synthetic
2D PIV images suggest our method achieves higher SNR and accuracy than velocity differentiation. Also, we have developed a
procedure to reconstruct three-dimensional velocity gradient at a fixed wall the two non-zero components from PIV/IG data
obtained in stereo views; these equations simplify considerably thanks to the no-slip condition. Experimental data from the
bottom wall of turbulent open channel flow appear to suffer from a form of pixel locking. As with standard PIV, this underlines
the importance of adequate tracer diameter in the images, sufficient seeding density, and of dynamic range of the camera sensor. 相似文献

The yet unknown intermetallic phase La5Al3Ni2 was obtained by partially crystallizing amorphous La50Al25Ni25 at 550 K (further heating above 600 K leads to irreversible disappearance of this phase), and its crystal structure was determined from X‐ray powder diffraction data. The crystal structure of the La5Al3Ni2 phase constitutes a new structure type (Cmcm, a = 14.231Å, b = 6.914Å, c = 10.460Å, oC40) and is built from [Al3Ni2] chains surrounded by La atoms. In the ternary system La‐Al‐Ni La5Al3Ni2 is located on the section La50Al50−nNin (0 ≤ n ≤ 50) with the binary compounds LaAl and LaNi as end members. Strikingly, also the crystal structures of the end members can be conceived as chain structures with Al and Ni chains surrounded by La, respectively. 相似文献

The effect of gradients in hardness, structure and composition in the surface layers on magnetic Barkhausen noise (MBN) was investigated in two widely used low alloy steels. One material was case hardened by induction hardening. The other was case carburised. Similar hardness profiles were produced by the two treatments. It was found that the variation in structure and hardness through the case in the induction-hardened steel had a minor effect on the MBN profile. In contrast, the inhomogeneity in the case-carburised material showed up clearly. This took the form of a broadened or two-peak MBN profile. When the surface layer containing the case was removed by etching, the broadened profile was replaced by a profile with a single peak. It is concluded that the shape and position of the MBN profile is significantly affected when a gradient in microstructure is induced by a gradient in carbon content. On the other hand, a gradient in microstructure induced by heat treatment with a constant carbon level has much less affect on the MBN profile for the induction-hardened steel. 相似文献
