A rapid and sensitive method for the analysis of delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in preserved oral fluid was developed and fully validated. Oral fluid was collected with the Intercept, a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved sampling device that is used on a large scale in the U.S. for workplace drug testing. The method comprised a simple liquid-liquid extraction with hexane, followed by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS-MS) analysis. Chromatographic separation was achieved using a XTerra MS C18 column, eluted isocratically with 1 mM ammonium formate-methanol (10:90, v/v). Selectivity of the method was achieved by a combination of retention time, and two precursor-product ion transitions. The use of the liquid-liquid extraction was demonstrated to be highly effective and led to significant decreases in the interferences present in the matrix. Validation of the method was performed using both 100 and 500 MicroL of oral fluid. The method was linear over the range investigated (0.5-100 ng/mL and 0. 1-10 ng/mL when 100 and 500 microL, respectively, of oral fluid were used) with an excellent intra-assay and inter-assay precision (relative standard deviations, RSD <6%) for quality control samples spiked at a concentration of 2.5 and 25 ng/mL and 0.5 and 2.5 ng/mL, respectively. Limits of quantification were 0.5 and 0.1 ng/mL when using 100 and 500 microL, respectively. In contrast to existing GC-MS methods, no extensive sample clean-up and time-consuming derivatisation steps were needed. Hydrotalcite-like compounds containing Co(II) and Cr(III) in the brucite-like layers have been prepared. The interlayer anion was carbonate or decavanadate. The chemical formulas of the samples are [Co(0.65)Cr(0.35)(OH)(2)] (CO(3))(0.175).1.22H(2)O (sample CoCrC) and [Co(0.61)Cr(0.39)(OH)(2)](V(10)O(28))(0.065).1.35H(2)O (sample CoCrV). The compounds have been characterized by X-ray diffraction, XAS, vis-UV, FT-IR, and Raman spectroscopies, while the surface textures were assessed by nitrogen adsorption. Reducibility has been studied by temperature-programmed reduction. A similar characterization study has been carried out on samples obtained after calcination of the parent samples in air at increasing temperatures. Results indicate an ordered structure, with Co(II) and Cr(III) ions in octahedral holes of the brucite-like layers and, in CoCrV, decavanadate species with its main C(2) axis parallel to the layers. Thermal decomposition at increasing temperatures takes place, for CoCrC, through intermediate formation of Cr(VI) species, which are again reduced to Cr(III) at higher temperatures; simultaneously, Co(II) is oxidized to Co(III) (even at 673 K), thus leading to formation of Co(II)Co(III)Cr(III)O(4). However, decomposition of CoCrV takes place through partial depolymerization of decavanadate species and formation of Co(II)Cr(2)O(4) and Co(II)(2)V(2)O(7), without intermediate formation of Cr(VI) species. 相似文献

Nitrosation reactions of amino acids with an -NH(2) group [namely, six alpha-amino acids (glycine, alanine, alpha-aminobutyric acid, alpha-aminoisobutyric acid, valine, and norvaline); two beta-amino acids (beta-alanine and beta-aminobutyric acid), and one gamma-amino acid (gamma-aminobutyric acid)] were studied. Nitrosation was carried out in aqueous acid media, mimicking the conditions of the stomach lumen. The rate equation was r = k(3)(exp)[amino acid][nitrite](2), with a maximum k(3)(exp) value in the 2.3-2.7 pH range. The existence of an isokinetic relationship supports the argument that all the reactions share a common mechanism. A nitrosation mechanism is proposed, and the following conclusions are drawn: (i) Nitrosation reactions of amino acids with a primary amino group in acid media occur with dinitrogen trioxide as the main nitrosating agent. The finding that the nitrosation rate is proportional to the square of the nitrite concentration suggests that the yield of nitrosation products in the stomach would increase sharply with higher nitrate/nitrite intakes. (ii) Stomach hypochlorhydria could be a potential enhancer of in vivo amino acid nitrosation. (iii) The reactivity (k(3)()(exp)) [alpha-amino acids > beta-amino acids > gamma-amino acids] is the same as that found in a previous work for the alkylating potential of lactones formed from nitrosation products of the same amino acids. This implies that the nitrosation reactions of the most common natural amino acids are the most efficient precursors of the most powerful alkylating agents. (iv) The order of magnitude (10(7)-10(8) M(-1) s(-1)) of the bimolecular rate constants of nitrosation shows that such reactions occur through an encounter process. 相似文献

The hydroxo compounds [Re(OH)(CO)(3)(N-N)] (N-N=bipy, 2 a; Me(2)-bipy, 2 b) were prepared in a biphasic H(2)O/CH(2)Cl(2) medium by reaction of [Re(OTf)(CO)(3)(N-N)] with KOH. In contrast, when anhydrous CH(2)Cl(2) was used, the binuclear hydroxo-bridged compound [[Re(CO)(3)(bipy)](2)(mu-OH)]OTf (3-OTf) was obtained. Compound [Re(OH)(CO)(3)(Me(2)-bipy)] (2 b) reacted with phenyl acetate or vinyl acetate to afford [Re(OAc)(CO)(3)(Me(2)-bipy)] (4) and phenol or acetaldehyde, respectively. The reactions of [Mo(OH)(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)] (1), 2 a, and 2 b toward several unsaturated organic electrophiles were studied. The reaction of 1 with (p-tolyl)isocyanate afforded an adduct of N,N'-di(p-tolyl)urea and the carbonato-bridged compound [[Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)](2)(mu-eta(1)(O),eta(1)(O)-CO(3))] (5). In contrast, the reaction of 2 a with phenylisocyanate afforded [Re(OC(O)NHPh)(CO)(3)(bipy)] (6); this results from formal PhNCO insertion into the O-H bond. On the other hand, compounds [Mo[SC(O)NH(p-tolyl)](eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)] (7), [Re[SC(O)NH(p-tolyl)](CO)(3)(Me(2)-bipy)] (8 a), and [Re[SC(O)NHEt](CO)(3)(Me(2)-bipy)] (8 b) were obtained by reaction of 1 or 2 b with the corresponding alkyl or aryl isothiocyanates. In those cases, RNCS was inserted into the M-O bond. The reactions of 1, 2 a, and 2 b with dimethylacetylenedicarboxylate (DMAD) gave the complexes [Mo[C(OH)-C(CO(2)Me)C(CO(2)Me)-O](eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(phen)] (9) and [Re[C(OH)C(CO(2)Me)C(CO(2)Me)O](CO)(2)(N-N)] (N-N=bipy, 10 a; Me(2)-bipy, 10 b). The molecules of these compounds contain five-membered metallacycles that are the result of coupling between the hydroxo ligand, DMAD, and one of the CO ligands. The new compounds were characterized by a combination of IR and NMR spectroscopy, and for [[Re(CO)(3)(bipy)(2)(mu-OH)]BF(4) (3-BF(4)), 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 b, 9, and 10 b, also by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction. 相似文献

The use of cyclodextrins (CDs) in HPLC as mobile phase additives provides a flexible alternative for the separation of chemically
related compounds because these separations can be performed on conventional columns and are economically advantageous over
the use of chiral stationary phases. The present paper describes the influence of the presence of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) and
2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HPβ-CD) on the separation of the β-carboline alkaloids norharmane, harmane and harmine. The
nature of the stationary phase (reverse phases C1 and C18) affects the chromatographic separations and also the stability of the inclusion complexes that are developed. The changes
in the proportion of the organic solvents at constant concentration of CDs (3 mM for β-CD and 15 mM for HPβ-CD) modify the
retention factors (k′) for all alkaloids studied. The nature of the organic solvent in the mobile phase also changes the chromatographic parameters.
The logarithm of the capacity factor (k′) is linearly increased with the proportion of water in the hydro-organic mobile phase (ethanolic or methanolic) but the
slopes obtained vary depending on the CD added to the mobile phase. The role of competitive equilibria, i.e., chromatographic
distribution and inclusion complexes formation is discussed.

We have prepared SrFe2/3B″1/3O3 (B″=Mo, U, Te, and W) double perovskites in polycrystalline form by ceramic methods. Phases with B″=U, Te and W have been studied by X-ray powder diffraction and the results have been compared with neutron diffraction data available for B″=Mo. At room temperature, the stoichiometric samples crystallize in the tetragonal crystal system (space group I4/m, Z=4). Cell parameters when B″=U, Te and W are a=5.6936(1) Å, c=8.0637(1)Å; a=5.5776(1) Å, c=7.9144(3) Å and a=5.5707(3) Å, c=7.9081(5) Å, respectively.The Mössbauer spectra at room temperature for all compounds show hyperfine parameters belonging to two Fe3+ sites located at lattice positions with different degrees of distortion. This is in agreement with diffraction data that indicate that the series of compounds display different degrees of Fe-site disorder, which increases in the following sequence: Mo<U<Te<W. 相似文献

Dense and homogeneous metal–organic framework (MOF) coatings on functional bead surfaces are easily prepared by using intermediate sacrificial metal oxide coatings containing the metal precursor of the MOF. Polystyrene (PS) beads are coated with a ZnO layer to give ZnO@PS core–shell beads. The ZnO@PS beads are reactive in the presence of 2‐methylimidazole to transform part of the ZnO coating into a porous zeolitic imidazolate framework‐8 (ZIF‐8) external shell positioned above the internal ZnO precursor shell. The obtained ZIF‐8@ZnO@PS beads can be easily packed in column format for flow‐through applications, such as the solid‐phase extraction of trace priority‐listed environmental pollutants. The prepared material shows an excellent permeance to flow when packed as a column to give high enrichment factors, facile regeneration, and excellent reusability for the extraction of the pollutant bisphenol A. It also shows an outstanding performance for the simultaneous enrichment of mixtures of endocrine disrupting chemicals (bisphenol A, 4‐tert‐octylphenol and 4‐n‐nonylphenol), facilitating their analysis when present at very low levels (<1 μg L?1) in drinking waters. For the extraction of the pollutant bisphenol A, the prepared ZIF‐8@ZnO@PS beads also show a superior extraction and preconcentration capacity to that of the PS beads used as precursors and the composite materials obtained by the direct growth of ZIF‐8 on the surface of the PS beads in the absence of metal oxide intermediate coatings. 相似文献
