Two ONNO type naphtaldehyde derivative Schiff base compounds were reduced and two symmetric phenol-amine ligands containing
naphthalene groups were obtained; bis-N,N′[(2-hydroxy-1-naphtyl) methyl]-1,3-propanediamine (NAFLH) and bis-N,N′[(2-hydroxy-1-naphtyl) methyl]-2,2′-dimetyhyl-1,3-propanediamine (NAFLDMH). Homotrinuclear Ni(II) complexes of these ligands were prepared. The solid-state molecular structures of representative
nickel complex of NAFLDMH were determined using single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The terminal Ni(II) ions were found to be situated in between
the donor atoms of the organic ligand. The central Ni(II) ion was observed to be bonded via two different μ-bridges. The phenolic
oxygens and carboxylate ion were seen to form two different μ-bridges. TG analysis proved that the compounds have different
thermal characteristics than those cited in literature. The complexes showed extreme exothermic degradation reactions in inert
atmosphere. The complexes are ruptured with a two stepped exothermic reaction which appears huge heat over 300 °C. The heat
appeared in O2 atmosphere is observed to be higher than the heat appeared in inert atmosphere. Revealed heat is observed to be higher than

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the physical–chemical properties of collagen (CL) and usnic acid/collagen-based
(UAC) films, using differential thermal analysis (DTA), thermogravimetry (TG/DTG), infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and scanning
electron microscopy (SEM). Both films were prepared by casting process using polyethylene glycol 1500 (PEG 1500) as plasticizer.
In the spectrum of UAC, similar bands of the usnic acid are observed, indicating that the polymerization (film formation)
did not affect the stability of the drug. Distinctly, DTA curve of UAC did not show an endothermic peak at 201 °C, indicative
that the drug was incorporated into the polymeric system. These results were corroborated by the scanning electron microscopy
(SEM). The TG/DTG curves of UAC presented a different thermal decomposition profile compared to the individual compounds and
CL. These findings suggest the occurrence of molecular dispersion or solubilization of the drug in the collagen film. 相似文献

temperature intervals: 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (365.09–387.28) K; 4-cyanobenzoic acid (355.14–373.28) K; 4-(methylamino)benzoic
acid (359.12–381.29) K; 4-(dimethylamino)benzoic acid (369.29–391.01) K; 4-(acetylamino)benzoic acid (423.10–443.12) K; 4-acetoxybenzoic
acid (351.28–373.27) K. From the temperature dependence of the vapour pressure, the standard molar enthalpy, entropy and Gibbs
energy of sublimation, at the temperature 298.15 K, were derived for each of the studied compounds using estimated values
of the heat capacity differences between the gaseous and the crystalline phases. Equations for estimating the vapour pressure

The effect of four sub-extracts prepared from the lyophilized hydroalcoholic bark of Dipteryx alata (Leguminosae-Papilionoideae) dissolved in a methanol-water (80:20) mixture through a liquid-liquid partition procedure has been investigated against the neuromuscular blockade of the venom of the snake Bothrops jararacussu. The active CH?Cl? sub-extract has been extensively analyzed for its chemical constituents, resulting in the isolation of four lupane-type triterpenoids: lupeol, lupenone, 28-hydroxylup-20(29)-en-3-one, betulin, nine isoflavonoids: 8-O-methylretusin, 7-hydroxy-5,6,4'-trimethoxyisoflavone, afrormosin, 7-hydroxy-8,3',4'-trimethoxyisoflavone, 7,3'-dihydroxy-8,4'-dimethoxyisoflavone, odoratin, 7,8,3'-trihydroxy-4'-methoxyisoflavone, 7,8,3'-trihydroxy-6,4'-dimethoxyisoflavone, dipteryxin, one chalcone: isoliquiritigenin, one aurone: sulfuretin and three phenolic compounds: vanillic acid, vanillin, and protocatechuic acid. The electrodeposition of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) films from aqueous surfactant solution through a two-dimensional poly(styrene) (PS) template onto indium tin oxide (ITO) substrate has been investigated. The polymer grows in the interstitial spaces of the self-assembled PS spheres which were subsequently removed by dissolution in tetrahydrofuran (THF). Surface characterization by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) reveals that two-dimensional nanoporous honeycomb PEDOT structures can easily be obtained by using PS spheres of different sizes. Gold electrodeposition onto the nanostructured PEDOT electrode was investigated and SEM images show preferential formation of nanoparticles (NP) on the wall and the rim of the PEDOT film but metal clusters inside the pores are also observed. 相似文献

Study of excipients incompatibility with drugs in an early phase of pharmaceutical development is still a persistent difficulty
within the pharmaceutical industry. We examine here the compatibility between an experimental drug (nebicapone) and common
excipients using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), high sensitivity DSC (HSDSC) and a conventional heat stress test.
The results obtained indicate that nebicapone may be compatible with lactose monohydrate and sodium croscarmellose but is
incompatible with magnesium stearate. This study concludes that HSDSC, in stepwise isothermal mode, may be used as a potential

Control of molecular and supramolecular properties is used to obtain a new advanced hybrid material based on Prussian blue nanoparticles (PB NPs). This hybrid material is obtained through a self-assembled Layer-by-Layer (LbL) approach combining the advantageous features of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) polysaccharides, PB NPs and poly(allylamine hydrochloride) from electrostatic interaction between the deposited layers. Transmission electronic microscopy images suggested that PB NPs were protected by β-CD polysaccharides that prevent the aggregation phenomena. In addition, as confirmed by scanning electronic microscopy images, it was found that PB NPs are organized in microcubic supramolecular like structures via a mesoscale self-assembly process. Interestingly, the 3-bilayer {PAH/PB-CD} film exhibited a higher density of microcubic structures and a high electrochemical response with PB sites available for redox reactions at a supramolecular level. By utilizing fewer bilayers and consequently less material deposition, the formed {PAH/PB-CD} multilayer films of a tuneable conductivity can be expected to have interesting future applications for host-guest like dependent electrochemical biosensing designs. 相似文献

Oxygenated xanthones have been extensively investigated over the years, but there are few reports concerning their crystal
structure. Our chemical investigations of Brazilian plants resulted in the isolation of four natural products named 1-hydroxyxanthone
(I), 1-hydroxy-7-methoxyxanthone (II), 1,5-dihydroxy-3-methoxyxanthone (III), and 1,7-dihydroxy-3,8-dimethoxyxanthone (IV).
The structures of these compounds were established on the basis of single crystal X-ray diffraction. The xanthone nucleus
conformation is essentially planar with the substituents adopting the orientations less sterically hindered. In addition,
classical intermolecular hydrogen bonds (O–H···O) present in III and IV give rise to infinite ribbons. However, the xanthone
I does not present any intermolecular hydrogen bonds, meanwhile the xanthone II presents only a non-classical one (C–H···O).
The crystal packing of all xanthone structures is also stabilized by π–π interactions. The fingerprint plots, derived from
the Hirshfeld surfaces, exhibited significant features of each crystal structures. 相似文献
