本文报道了一种合成2-氯嘧啶的有效方法。易得原料2,4-二氯嘧啶在钯-碳/NaHCO3作用下可以区域选择性地脱除2位氯原子得到2-氯嘧啶。2-氯嘧啶可以用作多种复杂嘧啶衍生物的有效合成砌块。     

On Representations Associated with Completely n-Positive Linear Maps on Pro-C^＊-Algebras

It is shown that an n × n matrix of continuous linear maps from a pro-C^＊-algebra A to L（H）, which verifies the condition of complete positivity, is of the form [V^＊TijФ（·）V]^n i,where Ф is a representation of A on a Hilbert space K, V is a bounded linear operator from H to K, and j=1,[Tij]^n i,j=1 is a positive element in the C^＊-algebra of all n×n matrices over the commutant of Ф（A） in L（K）. This generalizes a result of C. Y.Suen in Proc. Amer. Math. Soc., 112（3）, 1991, 709-712. Also, a covariant version of this construction is given.     

Photochemical degradation of environmentally persistent perfluorooctanoic acid （PFOA） in the presence of Fe（Ⅲ）

Environmentally persistent and bioaccumulative perfluorooctanic acid （PFOA） was difficult to be decomposed under the irradiation of 254 nm UV light. However, in the presence of 80μmol/L Fe（Ⅲ）, 80% of PFOA with initial concentration of 48μmol/L （20 mg/L） was effectively degraded and 47.8% of fluorine atoms in PFOA molecule were transformed into inorganic fluoride ion after 4 h reaction. Shorter chain perfluorocarboxylic acids bearing C3-C7 and fluoride ion were detected and identified by LC/MS and IC as the degradation products in the aqueous solution. It was proposed that complexes of PFOA with Fe（Ⅲ） initiated degradation of PFOA irradiated with 254 nm UV light.     

Ethane/ethene separation turned on its head: selective ethane adsorption on the metal-organic framework ZIF-7 through a gate-opening mechanism

Ethane is selectively adsorbed over ethylene in their mixtures on the zeolite imidazolate framework ZIF-7. In packed columns, this results in the direct production of pure ethylene. This gas-phase separation is attributed to a gate-opening effect in which specific threshold pressures control the uptake and release of individual molecules. These threshold pressures differ for the different molecules, leaving a window of selective uptake operation. This phenomenon makes ZIF-7 a perfect candidate for the separation of olefins from paraffins, since in contrast to most microporous materials, the paraffin is selectively adsorbed. Mixture adsorption, as studied by breakthrough experiments, demonstrates that gate-opening effects can be effectively used to separate molecules of very similar size.

The frictionand wear characteristics of the surfa ce compound layer of W18Cr4V steel by combined treatment of ion nitrocarburizing-ion sulphurizing were investigated. The friction coefficient of the compound l ayer against GCr15 steel was determined witha block-ring friction tester. The wear test was carried out with a reciprocating wear tester. The worn surface was analyzedby scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The experimental results reveale d that the friction coefficient was lower for treatedW18Cr4V steel against GCr1 5 steel. The wear resistance of the compound layer was higher because the nitroc arbonide andthe sulphide in the compound layer were capable of friction-reduct ion and adhesion-inhibition.

Understanding the Anomalous Alkane Selectivity of ZIF-7 in the Separation of Light Alkane/Alkene Mixtures

C2 and C3 alkanes are selectively adsorbed from mixtures over the corresponding alkenes on the zeolite imidazolate framework ZIF-7 through a gate-opening mechanism. As a result, the direct production of the pure alkene upon adsorption and the pure alkane upon desorption in packed columns is possible. Herein, a detailed investigation of the step-wise adsorption and separation of alkanes and alkenes is presented, together with a rigorous performance assessment. A molecular picture of the gate-opening mechanism underlying the unprecedented selectivity towards alkane adsorption is proposed based on DFT calculations and a thermodynamic analysis of the adsorption-desorption isotherms.
