This work presents a comparison between three analytical methods developed for the simultaneous determination of eight quinolones regulated by the European Union (marbofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, danofloxacin, enrofloxacin, difloxacin, sarafloxacin, oxolinic acid and flumequine) in pig muscle, using liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection (LC–FD), liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS) and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS). The procedures involve an extraction of the quinolones from the tissues, a step for clean–up and preconcentration of the analytes by solid-phase extraction and a subsequent liquid chromatographic analysis. The limits of detection of the methods ranged from 0.1 to 2.1 ng g−1 using LC–FD, from 0.3 to 1.8 using LC–MS and from 0.2 to 0.3 using LC–MS/MS, while inter- and intra-day variability was under 15 % in all cases. Most of those data are notably lower than the maximum residue limits established by the European Union for quinolones in pig tissues. The methods have been applied for the determination of quinolones in six different commercial pig muscle samples purchased in different supermarkets located in the city of Granada (south-east Spain).
The effect of glycerol on both micellar formation and the structural evolution of the sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) aggregates in the context of the action mechanism of the cosolvent has been studied. The critical micelle concentration and the degree of counterion dissociation of the surfactant over a temperature range from 20°C to 40°C were obtained by the conductance method. The thermodynamic parameters of micellization were estimated by using the equilibrium model of micelle formation. The analysis of these parameters indicated that the lower aggregation of the surfactant is mainly due to a minor cohesive energy of the mixed solvent system in relation to the pure water. The effect of glycerol on the mean aggregation number of the micelles of SDS was analyzed by the static quenching method. It was found that the aggregation number decreased with the glycerol content. This reduction in the micellar size seems to be controlled by an increase in the surface area per headgroup, which was ascribed to a participation of glycerol in the micellar solvation layer. Studies on the micropolarity of the aggregates, as sensed by the probe pyrene, indicated that this microenvironmental parameter is almost unaffected by the presence of glycerol in the mixture. However, an increase in the micellar microviscosity at the surface region was observed from the photophysical behavior of two different probes, rhodamine B and auramine O. These results suggest a certain interaction of the cosolvent in the micellar solvation of SDS micelles. 相似文献
The synthesis of 1,2-C6H4(NHCOCMe2NHCO)2-3,3′-(2,2′-bpy) (3), a TAML (tetraamido macrocyclic ligand) incorporating the peripheral 2,2′-bipyridine unit, is described. Its geometry after optimization by density functional theory (DFT) indicated a rather unfavorable conformation of four N–H amide units for forming macrocyclic transition metal complexes. This explains why the iron(III) derivative of 3 could not be obtained even after deprotonation of the N–H bonds by n-BuLi. Nevertheless, the macrocyclic complex of CoIII was synthesized in moderate yield, characterized, and explored by DFT. Our data suggest a strongly distorted square-planar geometry of the macrocyclic complex between CoIII and 3. The dihedral angle between the pyridine rings equals 80° ruling out the possibility of metal chelation by the bipyridine unit. 相似文献
The objective of this study was to determine the oxidative stress and the physiological and antioxidant responses of coriander plants (Coriandrum sativum) grown for 58 days in soil with zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) and zinc sulfate (ZnSO4) at concentrations of 0, 100, 200, 300, and 400 mg of Zn/kg of soil. The results revealed that all Zn compounds increased the total chlorophyll content (CHLt) by at least 45%, compared to the control group; however, with 400 mg/kg of ZnSO4, chlorophyll accumulation decreased by 34.6%. Zn determination by induction-plasma-coupled atomic emission spectrometry (ICP–AES) showed that Zn absorption in roots and shoots occurred in plants exposed to ZnSO4 at all concentrations, which resulted in high levels of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and malondialdehyde (MDA). Only at 400 mg/kg of ZnSO4, a 78.6% decrease in the MDA levels was observed. According to the results, the ZnSO4 treatments were more effective than the ZnO NPs to increase the antioxidant activity of catalase (CAT), ascorbate peroxidase (APX), and peroxidases (POD). The results corroborate that phytotoxicity was higher in plants subjected to ZnSO4 compared to treatments with ZnO NPs, which suggests that the toxicity was due to Zn accumulation in the tissues by absorbing dissolved Zn++ ions. 相似文献

The metabolism of brassinosteroid leads to structural modifications in the ring skeleton or the side alkyl chain. The esterification and glycosylation at C-3 are the most common metabolic pathways, and it has been suggested that conjugate brassinosteroids are less active or inactive. In this way, plants regulate the content of active brassinosteroids. In this work, the synthesis of brassinosteroid 24-norcholane type analogs conjugated at C-3 with benzoate groups, carrying electron donor and electron attractant substituents on the aromatic ring, is described. Additionally, their growth-promoting activities were evaluated using the Rice Lamina Inclination Test (RLIT) and compared with that exhibited by brassinolide (used as positive control) and non-conjugated analogs. The results indicate that at the lowest tested concentrations (10−8–10−7 M), all analogs conjugated at C-3 exhibit similar or higher activities than brassinolide, and the diasteroisomers with S configuration at C-22 are the more active ones. Increasing concentration (10−6 M) reduces the biological activities of analogs as compared to brassinolide. 相似文献
In this work we report some new well-defined carbon nanostructures produced by direct chlorination of metallocenes (ferrocene and cobaltocene) and NbC, at temperatures from 100 to 900 degrees C. Thus, amorphous carbon nanotubes with variable dimensions depending on reaction temperature were produced from ferrocene. When cobaltocene is the carbon precursor the main product are solid amorphous nanospheres. The high refractory metal carbide NbC as carbon source favours the growth of nanospherical cabbage-like particles with a higher degree of graphene sheets order. Besides, NbC crystallites encapsulated in an amorphous carbon shell were also found at lower temperatures (T< or =700 degrees C). 相似文献
Concerning the increased market for bio-based materials and environmentally safe practices, cellulose-based beads are one of the more attractive alternatives. Thus, this work focuses on the generation of functional cellulose-based beads with a relatively simple and direct method of blending a pre-modified chitosan bearing the targeted functional groups and cellulose, prior to the formation of the beads, as a mean to have functional groups in the formed structure. To this end, chitosan was chemically modified with propargyl bromide in homogenous reaction conditions and then combined with cellulose in sodium hydroxide/urea solution and coagulated in nitric acid to produce spherical shaped beads. The successful chemical modification of chitosan was assessed by elemental analysis, as well as by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The alkynyl moieties from the chitosan derivative, served as reactive functional groups for click-chemistry as demonstrated by the tagging of the commercial fluorophore Azide-Fluor 488 via CuI-catalysed alkyne-azide cycloaddition reaction, in aqueous media. This work demonstrates the one-step processing of multiple polysaccharides for functional spherical beads as a template for bio-based scaffolds such as enzyme immobilization for stimuli-response applications and bioconjugations.
