We obtain a result on the quasi-conformal self-maps of jungle gyms, a divergence-type group. If the dilatation is compactly supported, then the induced map on the boundary of the covering disc is differentiable with non-zero derivative on a set of Hausdorff dimension .
As one of the corollaries, we show that there are quasi-symmetric homeomorphisms over divergence-type groups such that for all sets the Hausdorff dimension of and cannot both be less than . This shows an important difference between finitely generated and divergence-type groups.

New synthetic pathways have been elaborated to 1-methyl-1H-pyridazino[3,4-b]indoles starting from halopyridazin-3(2H)-ones. Suzuki cross-coupling reaction of chloro, iodo, dichloro, and dibromo substituted pyridazin-3(2H)-ones with 2-pivaloylaminophenylboronic acid followed by hydrolysis of the amide and subsequent ring closure via condensation gave fused indoles. Synthesis of fullerenes from graphite powders of different grade was studied in a radiofrequency (RF) plasma reactor. Dependence of fullerene yield on the properties and feed rate of precursors and on the helium content of plasma gas was studied in details. The fullerene yield was influenced by the mean size and the thermal conductivity of graphite particles on the one hand, and the helium content of the gas phase on the other. Soot containing fullerene mixture of 5.9% was produced in best conditions found in this work. The main component of the fullerene mixture was C60. In addition, it contained about 30% of C70 (corresponding to a C60/C70 mass ratio of 2.64). Higher fullerenes such as C84 were also detected by mass spectroscopy (MS) and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). 相似文献

Hematological and oncological disorders represent leading causes of childhood mortality. Neuropeptide somatostatin (SST) has been previously demonstrated in various pediatric tumors, but limited information exists on the expression and characteristics of SST receptors (SSTR) in hematological and oncological disorders of children. We aimed to investigate the expression of mRNA for SSTR subtypes (SSTR-1–5) in 15 pediatric hematological/oncological specimens by RT-PCR. The presence and binding characteristics of SSTRs were further studies by ligand competition assay. Our results show that the pediatric tumor samples highly expressed mRNA for the five SSTR subtypes with various patterns. The mRNA for SSTR-2 was detected in all specimens independently of their histological type. A Hodgkin lymphoma sample co-expressed mRNA for all five SSTR subtypes. SSTR-3 and SSTR-5 were detected only in malignant specimens, such as rhabdomyosarcoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and a single nonmalignant condition, hereditary spherocytosis. The incidence of SSTR-1 and SSTR-4 was similar (60%) in the 15 specimens investigated. Radioligand binding studies demonstrated the presence of specific SSTRs and high affinity binding of SST analogs in pediatric solid tumors investigated. The high incidence of SSTRs in hematological and oncological disorders in children supports the merit of further investigation of SSTRs as molecular targets for diagnosis and therapy. 相似文献

2-Aryl-5-acroleinyl-1,2,3,4-tetrazoles (1a–d) and 2-aryl-5-butadienyl-1,2,3,4-tetrazoles (1e–g) were subjected to flash vacuum pyrolysis. Acroleinyl derivatives resulted in nitrogen extrusion to give nitrilimines followed by ring closure to give the corresponding indazoles 3a–d in good yields. On the other hand, butadiene derivatives underwent ring fragmentation to give p-substituted anilines without formation of the expected indazoles. Differences between thermal behaviour of 2-(4-chlorophenyl)-5-acroleinyl-1,2,3,4-tetrazole (1c) and 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-4-acroleinyl-1,2,3-triazole (2) were studied in details. Radon and thoron isotopes are responsible for approximately half of the average annual effective dose to humans. Although the half-life of thoron is short, it can potentially enter indoor air from adobe walls. Adobe was a traditional construction material in the Great Hungarian Plain. Its major raw materials are the alluvial sediments of the area. Here, seasonal radon and thoron activity concentrations were measured in 53 adobe dwellings in 7 settlements by pairs of etched track detectors. The results show that the annual average radon and thoron activity concentrations are elevated in these dwellings and that the proportions with values higher than 300 Bq m?3 are 14–17 and 29–32% for radon and thoron, respectively. The calculated radon inhalation dose is significantly higher than the world average value, exceeding 10 mSv y?1 in 7% of the dwellings of this study. Thoron also can be a significant contributor to the inhalation dose with about 30% in the total inhalation dose. The changes of weather conditions seem to be more relevant in the variation of measurement results than the differences in the local sedimentary geology. Still, the highest values were detected on clay. Through the year, radon follows the average temperature changes and is affected by the ventilation, whereas thoron rather seems to follow the amount of precipitation. 相似文献

The antibacterial behavior of cationic polyelectrolytes is studied using model membrane experiments and in vitro bacterial investigations. The molecular interaction with lipid films is evaluated by the degree of penetration of the polymers into Langmuir monolayers of neutral or negatively charged lipids. The polymer/lipid interaction results in structural changes of the penetrated lipid layer visualized using AFM. The polymers are found to be effective in inhibiting the proliferation of E. coli, B. subtilis and S. aureus. The influence of the chemical structure on the functional behavior is related to the conformational properties. An optimum structure is identified on the basis of antibacterial and hemolytic tests as well as membrane‐destroying efficacy of the antimicrobial polymers.

A long-term radon concentration monitoring was carried out in the Pál-v?lgy cave, Budapest, Hungary, for 1.5 years. Our major goal was to determine the time dependence of the radon concentration in the cave to characterise the air exchange and define the most important environmental parameters that influence the radon concentration inside the cave. The radon concentration in the cave air was measured continuously by an AlphaGuard radon monitor, and meteorological parameters outside the cave were collected simultaneously. The air's radon concentration in the cave varied between 104 and 7776?Bq?m(-3), the annual average value was 1884±85?Bq?m(-3). The summer to winter radon concentration ratio was as high as 21.8. The outside air temperature showed the strongest correlation with the radon concentration in the cave, the correlation coefficient (R) was 0.76. 相似文献

In this paper, the performance of a previously developed classification system applied to pharmaceutical chromatographic analyses, is investigated. The separation of seven different drug substances from their respective impurities was studied. The chromatographic procedure for acetylsalicylic acid, clindamycin hydrochloride, buflomedil hydrochloride, chloramphenicol sodium succinate, nimesulide and phenoxymethylpenicillin was performed according to the corresponding European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) monograph. The separation of dihydrostreptomycin sulphate was performed according to the literature. It is shown that the column ranking system is a helpful tool in the selection of a suitable column in these analyses. 相似文献

Methods for the calculation of activation energies, pre-exponential factors and reaction orders from thermogravimetric data are briefly reviewed. A new integral method is proposed for the determination of these kinetic parameters, using data from pairs of TG curves produced at different heating rates. Employing accurate values of the temperature integral of the Arrhenius equation, tabulated over a range ofE andT, and a simple graphical procedure, the method offers advantages of speed and accuracy over those previously reported. It is suggested that at least one of the kinetic parameters should be allowed to move freely in order to achieve the best possible fit between calculated and experimental traces. 相似文献
