Donor–acceptor molecules (D‐π‐A) built by connecting a diphenylhydrazone block to a dicyanovinyl acceptor group via various thiophene‐based π‐conjugating spacers ( 1 – 5 ) were synthesized from mono‐ or dialdehydes by a simple metal‐free procedure. Cyclic voltammetry and UV/Vis absorption spectroscopy show that the extension and/or increase of the donor strength of the spacer produces a decrease of the HOMO and LUMO energy level, a red shift of the absorption spectrum and an increase of the molecular absorption coefficient. Compared to solutions, the optical spectra of spin‐cast thin films of compounds 1–3 show a broadening and red shift of the absorption bands, consistent with the formation of J‐aggregates. In contrast the blue shift observed for the EDOT‐containing compounds 4 and 5 suggests the presence of H‐aggregates. Solution‐cast and vacuum‐deposited films of donors 1–5 were evaluated in solar cells with fullerene C60 as acceptor. A power‐conversion efficiency among the highest reported for bilayer devices of basic configuration was obtained with compound 2 . On the other hand, the results obtained with 4 and 5 suggest that the presence of EDOT in the structure can have deleterious effects on the organization and performances of the donor material.  相似文献

Reaction of 1,3-diaryl-2,3-dibromo-1-propanones 1 with urea in basic medium afforded 4,6-diaryl-5-bromo-5,6-dihydropyrimidine-2(1H)-ones 4 . Oxidation of these bromopyrimidines 4 in dimethylsulphoxide gave 4,6-diaryl-1,6-dihydropyrimidine-2,5-diones 6 , which were further converted to their thione analogues 7 . Reaction of 1,3-diaryl-2,3-dibromo-1-propanones 1 with urea, phenylurea and sym-diphenylurea in glacial acetic acid medium gave in appreciable yields 4-phenyl-5-α-(bromoarylmethyl)imidazolin-2-one 8 and 1,3-diphenyl-4-aroyl-5-arylimidazolidin-2-one 11 respectively.  相似文献

Making use of polypropylene samples that are selectively labeled with carbon-13 at each of the three unique positions within the repeating unit, we are conducting mass spectral analyses of the volatile organic oxidation products that are produced when the polymer is subjected to elevated temperature in the presence of air. By examination of both the parent and fragmentation ion peaks in the mass spectrum, we are able to identify the positioning of the C-13 labels within the volatile compounds, and thereby map each compound onto its site of origin from within the macromolecular structure of polypropylene. Most of the organic oxidation products are remarkably specific in terms of their genesis from the polymer. The structural results are discussed in terms of the oxidation chemistry of the macromolecule.  相似文献

The current method prescribed in official monographs for the purity control of vancomycin is inappropriate in that several components are not separated from each other and other components are coeluted with the main component vancomycin B. The method uses an ODS column at pH 3.2. In this study, several changes were introduced in order to improve the separation. The optimization of the separation method at low pH indicated that pH 1.7 was optimum and that the use of dioxane as organic modifier drastically improved the separation. These conditions were used to test a set of more than 40 reversed-phase columns for their selectivity towards vancomycin components. The selection of the most suitable columns was performed by means of principal component analysis. Most of these columns did not allow the separation of didechlorovancomycin from monodechlorovancomycin 1. It was found that neutral to slightly alkaline mobile phases allowed better separation. Further optimization of the separation method and a robustness study were performed by means of experimental design. This optimization indicated that pH 7.7 was optimum and gradient elution was also used to effect complete analysis. The final method uses a Kromasil column and the mobile phase comprises dioxane, water and ammonium formate solution pH 7.7. The separation of monodechlorovancomycin 2 and of some unknown impurities from the main component vancomycin B is described for the first time. The method shows good repeatability, linearity and sensitivity.  相似文献

Generally reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) methods are extensively applied during quality control of pharmaceutical products. Since capillary electrophoresis (CE) is based on a different separation principle and consequently results in a unique selectivity compared to RP-HPLC, it can advantageously be used as an orthogonal technique. CE equipped with a mass spectrometer detector provides even more information that can be helpful for identification and structural elucidation purposes. CE-MS was recently implemented in the method development approach to support impurity profiling of pharmaceutical products. In this paper the application of CE-electrospray ionization (ESI)-MS/MS to the impurity profiling of galantamine hydrobromide in stressed Reminyl Extended Release (ER) capsules is discussed. Reminyl ER samples were stressed at different storing conditions. The impurity profile of these samples was compared with the current RP-HPLC and chiral CE method, but also with CE-ESI-MS/MS. The combination of these three methods provided valuable data that allowed understanding comprehensively the impurity profile of these samples. Two impurities were detected at concentrations lower than 0.05%, which did not occur in nonstressed samples. Chromatographic data and the fragmentation patterns of galantamine and related compounds were also examined for identification of these two degradation products.  相似文献

Biocompatible methods capable of rapid purification and fractionation of analytes from complex natural matrices are increasingly in demand, particularly at the forefront of biotechnological applications. Field-flow fractionation is a separation technique suitable for nano-sized and micro-sized analytes among which bioanalytes are an important family. The objective of this preliminary study is to start a more general approach to field-flow fractionation for bio-samples by investigation of the correlation between channel surface composition and biosample adhesion. For the first time we report on the use of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) to study the surface properties of channels of known performance. By XPS, a polar hydrophobic environment was found on PVC material commonly used as accumulation wall in gravitational field-flow fractionation (GrFFF), which explains the low recovery obtained when GrFFF was used to fractionate a biological sample such as Staphylococcus aureus. An increase in separation performance was obtained first by conditioning the accumulation wall with bovine serum albumin and then by using the ion-beam sputtering technique to cover the GrFFF channel surface with a controlled inert film. XPS analysis was also employed to determine the composition of membranes used in hollow-fiber flow field-flow fractionation (HF FlFFF). The results obtained revealed homogeneous composition along the HF FlFFF channel both before and after its use for fractionation of an intact protein such as ferritin.  相似文献

One- two- and three 13C, 13C (n = 1, 2, 3) scalar couplings, (n)J(C,C) in a set of pyrimidine derivatives were studied both experimentally at natural abundance and theoretically by their DFT calculation of all four contributions. Trends of non-contact terms are discussed and substituent effects are rationalized, comparing some of them with the corresponding values in benzene and pyridine. Although substituent effects on non-contact terms are relatively important, the whole trend is dominated by the Fermi contact term. According to the current literature, substituent effects on 1J(C,C) couplings in benzene derivatives are dominated by the inductive effect, which, apparently, is also the case in nitrogen heteroaromatic compounds. However, some differences observed in this work for substituent effects on 1J(C,C) couplings in pyrimidine derivatives suggest that in the latter type of compounds substituent effects can be affected by the orientation of the ring nitrogen lone pairs.  相似文献

Benzenesulfonylindole is converted to a dilithio derivative by 2.2 equivalents of lithiating reagent. The dilithio derivative gives rise to sultones on reaction with carbonyl compounds. This reaction proceeds by an intramolecular displacement of the indole group from the bis-adduct. Fair to poor yields of the 2-indolycarbinols can also be isolated. Benzoyl chloride forms a thiazine dioxide ring by addition at both the 2-indolyl and 2′-phenylsulfonyl positions. 3-Methyl-1-benzenesulfonylindole is also easily dilithiated.  相似文献
