Distortion of optical feedback signals in microchip Nd:YAG lasers subjected to external multi-beam interference feedback 下载免费PDF全文
This paper proposes a theoretical analysis for the
characteristics of an external cavity Nd:YAG laser with feedback of
multiple-beam interference, which is induced by the multi-reentrance
of the light from the external Fabry--Perot cavity. The theoretical
model considers the multiple beam interference of the external
Fabry--Perot cavity. It is found that the optical feedback signals
are distorted to pulse waveforms instead of the sinusoidal ones in
conventional feedback. The experimental results are in good
agreement with the theoretical analysis. The obtained theoretical
and experimental results can advance the development of a laser

Ce3+ and Tb3+ co-doped Sr2B5O9Cl phosphors with intense green emission were prepared by the conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction technique. A broad band centered at about 315 nm was found in phosphor Sr2B5O9Cl: Ce3+, Tb3+ excitation spectrum, which was attributed to the 4f-5d transition of Ce3+. The typical sharp line emissions ranging from 450 to 650 nm were originated from the 5D4 → 7FJ (J = 6, 5, 4, 3) transitions of Tb3+ ions. The photoluminescence (PL) intensity of green emission from Tb3+ was enhanced remarkably by co-doping Ce3+ in the Tb3+ solely doped Sr2B5O9Cl phosphor because of the dipole-dipole mechanism resonant energy transfer from Ce3+ to Tb3+ ions. The energy transfer process was investigated in detail. In light of the energy transfer principles, the optimal composition of phosphor with the maximum green light output was established to be Sr1.64Ce0.08Tb0.1Li0.18B5O9Cl by the appropriate adjustment of dopant concentrations. The PL intensity of Tb3+ in the phosphor was enhanced about 40 times than that of the Tb3+ single doped phosphor under the excitation of their optimal excitation wavelengths. 相似文献

We report here "strain glass," a new glassy phenomenon in ferroelastic-martensitic system of Ni-rich intermetallic Ti(50-x)Ni(50+x) (x > 1), where local strain is frozen in disordered configuration below a critical temperature Tg. The ac elastic modulus shows a minimum at Tg, which exhibits logarithmic frequency dependence following Vogel-Fulcher relationship, and the corresponding internal friction shows a frequency-dependent peak located at a lower temperature. In situ high-resolution transmission electron microscopy observations reveal uncorrelated nanoclusters of martensiticlike phase, randomly frozen in the otherwise untransformed parentlike matrix. Being parallel to spin glass and relaxor, strain glass may shed new light on the fundamental physics of glass and lead to the discovery of novel properties. 相似文献

Utilizing the quantum statistical method and applying the new state density equation motivated by generalized uncertainty principle in quantum gravitaty, we avoid the difficulty in solving wave equation and directly calculate the partition function of bosonic and fermionic field on the background of rotating and charged black string. Then near the cosmological horizon, entropies of bosonic and fermionic field are calculated on the background of black string. When constant A introduced in generalized uncertainty principle takes a proper value, we derive Bekenstein- Hawking entropy and the correction value corresponding cosmologicaJ horizon on the background of rotating and charged black string. Because we use the new state density equation, in our calculation there are not divergent term and small mass approximation in the original brick-wall method. A novel temperature-insensitive strain sensor,based on an in-line Mach-Zehnder interferometer,is fabricated by concatenating two waist-enlarged fiber tapers separated by a short piece of photonic crystal fiber. The interference spectrum of the proposed sensor is analyzed in detail.Experimental results demonstrate that this sensor has a strain sensitivity of.3.02 pm/μεand maintains the temperature insensitivity feature. 利用单分散的SiO2微球自组装制备了含一种尺寸微球的SiO2胶体晶体和含多种尺寸微球的多层异质结构。对含一种尺寸微球的SiO2胶体晶体进行煅烧和刻蚀处理后,胶体晶体中空隙所占比例大于立方密堆结构的26%,形成了非密堆结构,而且刻蚀时间越长,空隙比例越大。在同样的热处理和刻蚀条件下,微球尺寸越小的胶体晶体被刻蚀的程度越高,结构中空气空隙所占的比例越大。对SiO2多层异质结构经过煅烧和刻蚀处理后,得到了空隙梯度变化的多层结构,以此为模板制备了密度梯度变化的聚苯乙烯多孔薄膜。薄膜各层之间形成了平滑的过渡,没有显示出明显的层间缺陷,且孔与孔之间没有出现3维有序多孔结构中常见的大的连通孔道。 相似文献
