New ligands for the Fe(III)‐mediated reverse atom transfer radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate

A series of (di)picolinic acids and their derivates are investigated as novel complexing tridentate or bidentate ligands in the iron‐mediated reverse atom transfer radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate in N,N‐dimethylformamide at 100 °C with 2,2′‐azobisisobutyrontrile as an initiator. The polymerization rates and polydispersity indices (1.32–1.8) of the resulting polymers are dependent on the structures of the ligands employed. Different iron complexes may be involved in iron‐mediated reverse atom transfer radical polymerization, depending on the type of acid used. ¹H NMR spectroscopy has been used to study the structure of the resulting polymers. The Calibrating Theory in the Network Parameters Measurement of Microwave and MMW Devices

The paper introduces a special system calibration technology in s-parameters measurement of microwave and millimeter wave devices. The 8-term errors module is built by analyzing the signals flowing in the measurement system. Then the calibration technology using non-standard kits is designed on the base. Finally, the experiment using the calibration technology is introduced.     

〈I〉型三角剖分下非张量积连续小波基的构造

多维非张量积小波是近年小波研究领域中的热点问题之一 ,它们与多维张量积小波相比具有更多的优势 .关于高维张量积、非张量积小波 ,目前已有一些很好的工作 (见文[2 ] [3 ] [4 ] ) ,但关于样条小波 ,还有许多问题有待于研究 .本文针对〈I〉型三角剖分下的二维线性元空间 ,讨论其具有紧支集和对称性的半正交样条小波基 .给定 x1 x2 平面上的〈I〉型三角剖分 (图 1 ( a)所示 ) ,记 j=( j1 ,j2 ) ,| j| =j1 + j2 ,πm= { 0≤ |j|≤ mCj1j2 xj11 xj22 ,Cj1,j2 是任意实数 }为次数不超过 m的代数多项式全体 .引入剖分尺度为 1的线性元空间 V0…     

非完整系统Chetaev动力学和vakonomic动力学的等价条件

就一般非完整约束系统，从约束方程满足的变分恒等式出发，利用增广位形流形上的向量场定义三类非自由变分，即非完整变分：vakonomic变分、Hlder变分、Suslov变分，并讨论它们之间的关系以及它们成为自由变分的充要条件.利用非完整变分以及相应的积分变分原理建立两类动力学方程：vakonomic方程和Routh方程或Chaplygin方程.通过vakonomic方程分别与Routh方程和Chaplygin方程比较，得到它们具有共同解的两类充分必要条件.这些条件并不是约束的可积性条件. 关键词： 非完整约束 非完整变分 Chetaev条件 vakonomic动力学     

Formation of hydrogenated amorphous carbon films from polymer pyrolysis

Free-standing and supported hydrogenated amorphous carbon films (a:C–H) were prepared upon pyrolysis of the polymer formed by ethanolamine (EA) and citric acid (CA), under an ambient atmosphere at 300 °C. EA facilitates the formation of the macroscopic films, while CA is essential for obtaining the a:C–H microstructure, which comprises a mixture of sp² and sp³ carbon. FTIR光谱遥测红外药剂的燃烧温度

本文利用遥感FTIR光谱，对红外药剂的燃烧特性进行了研究。在分辨率为4cm^-1时，收集4700－740cm^-1波段的光谱。从HF等燃烧产物发射的分子振转基带精细结构的谱线强度分布，可以对燃烧温度进行遥感测定，并给出了燃烧温度随时间的变化关系，实验结果表明燃烧表面附近温度梯度很大，存在着急剧的变化温度场，同时也说明，在不干扰火焰温度场的情况下，利用遥感FTIR光谱对剧烈的、非稳态快速燃烧的火焰温度进行连续实时的遥感测量，是一种快速、准确、灵敏度高的测温方法，显示了它在燃烧温度测量、产物浓度测试以及燃烧机理研究等方面的应用前景。     

Structures and stability of Al<Subscript><Emphasis Type="Bold">7</Emphasis></Subscript>C and Al<Subscript><Emphasis Type="Bold">7</Emphasis></Subscript>N clusters

We report results of the atomic and electronic structures of Al₇C cluster using ab initio molecular dynamics with ultrasoft pseudopotentials and generalized gradient approximation. The lowest energy structure is found to be the one in which carbon atom occupies an interstitial position in Al₇ cluster. The electronic structure shows that the recent observation [Chem. Phys. Lett. 316, 31 (2000)] of magic behavior of Al₇C^- cluster is due to a large highest occupied and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (HOMO-LUMO) gap which makes Al₇C^- chemically inert. These results have further led us to the finding of a new neutral magic cluster Al₇N which has the same number of valence electrons as in Al₇C^- and a large HOMO-LUMO gap of 1.99 eV. Further, calculations have been carried out on (Al₇N)₂ to study interaction between magic clusters. Received 28 July 2001     

A FUNDAMENTAL SOLUTION FOR THE LAPLACE OPERATOR ON THE QUATERNIONIC HEISENBERG GROUP

In this paper, the author studies the Laplace operator on the quaternionic Heisenberg group, construct a fundamental solution for it and use this solution to prove the Lp-boundedness and the weak (1-1) boundedness of certain singular convolution operators on the quaternionic Heisenberg group.
