Development of hyperpolarized technology utilizing dynamic nuclear polarization has enabled the measurement of 13C metabolism in vivo at very high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). In vivo mitochondrial metabolism can, in principle, be monitored with pyruvate, which is catalyzed to acetyl-CoA via pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH). The purpose of this work was to determine whether the compound sodium dichloroacetate (DCA) could aid the study of mitochondrial metabolism with hyperpolarized pyruvate. DCA stimulates PDH by inhibiting its inhibitor, pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase. In this work, hyperpolarized [1-13C]pyruvate and [2-13C]pyruvate were used to probe mitochondrial metabolism in normal rats. Increased conversion to bicarbonate (+ 181±69%, P=.025) was measured when [1-13C]pyruvate was injected after DCA administration, and increased glutamate (+ 74±23%, P=.004), acetoacetate (+ 504±281%, P=.009) and acetylcarnitine (+ 377±157%, P=.003) were detected when [2-13C]pyruvate was used. 相似文献

Anisotropic partial differential equation noise-reduction algorithm based on fringe feature for ESPI
Noise reduction is one of the most exciting problems in electronic speckle pattern interferometry. We present a new anisotropic partial differential equation noise-reduction algorithm based on fringe orientation for interferometric fringe patterns. The proposed equation performs diffusion along the two directions of fringe gradient and isophote line, which are extracted accurately according to fringe feature. By restriction of diffusion in the gradient direction of fringe patterns, this method can provide optimal results in denoising but does not destroy fringe edges. The experimental results show that this technique is more capable of significantly improving the quality of the fringe patterns than the classical anisotropic diffusion equation proposed by Perona and Malik. Based on our filtered fringe patterns, the phase map obtained by phase-shifting technique can be extracted more accurately. It is an effective pre-processing method for electronic speckle pattern interferometry. 相似文献

In this paper we review the preparation and reaction properties of ordered SmRh surface alloys and SmOx/Rh(1 0 0) model catalyst which have been systematically investigated by low energy electron diffraction (LEED), Auger electron spectroscopy (AES), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), high-resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HREELS) and temperature desorption spectroscopy (TDS). The growth of Sm on Rh(1 0 0) at room temperature follows the Stranski-Krastanov mode. Thermal treatment of the Sm films on Rh(1 0 0) leads to the formation of ordered SmRh surface alloys. An “inverse” SmOx/Rh(1 0 0) model catalyst is produced under controlled oxidation of the SmRh surface alloy. CO adsorption on the SmRh alloy and SmOx/Rh(1 0 0) surfaces gives rise to five TDS characteristic features originating from different adsorption sites. Both the site blocking of SmOx and the electron transfer between SmOx and Rh substrate significantly affect the CO adsorption. Acetate decomposition on both Rh(1 0 0) and the SmOx/Rh(1 0 0) surfaces are found to undergo two competitive pathways that yields either (i) CO(a) and O(a) or (ii) CO2(g) and H2(g) at high temperature. The reactive desorption of acetic acid on SmOx/Rh(1 0 0) is dramatically different from that on Rh(1 0 0). A rapid decomposition of acetic acid to produce CO(g) and CO2(g) can be observed only on SmOx/Rh(1 0 0), where CO(g) becomes the predominant product at 225 K, indicating a strong promotional effect of SmOx in the selective decomposition of acetate. The interaction between the evolution of the game and the underlying network structure with evolving snowdrift game model
is investigated. The constructed network follows a power-law degree distribution typically showing scale-free feature. The
topological features of average path length, clustering coefficient, degree-degree correlations and the dynamical feature
of synchronizability are studied. The synchronizability of the constructed networks changes by the interaction. It will converge
to a certain value when sufficient new nodes are added. It is found
that initial payoffs of nodes greatly affect the synchronizability. When initial payoffs for players are equal, low common
initial payoffs may lead to more heterogeneity of the network and good
synchronizability. When initial payoffs follow certain distributions, better synchronizability is obtained compared to equal

A non-close-packed three-dimensional photonic crystal of titania hollow spheres has been fabricated. The fabricated process
is based on the silica template technique, thermal sintering, and the sol–gel process. The band-structure calculations and
optical measurements both indicate that a quasi-full three-dimensional photonic bandgap located at the visible wavelength
has been presented between the eighth and ninth bands. This indicates that the non-close-packed structure of titania hollow
spheres was easier to open the complete photonic bandgaps than other face-centered cubic structures made by self-assembling

High-spin states in neutron-rich 102Mo nucleus have been studied by measuring the prompt γ-rays in the spontaneous fission of 252Cf. The previous level scheme has been updated and some new levels and transitions are identified. The one-phonon γ-band is expanded and a band head level of the two-phonon γ-band is proposed. The systematic characteristics of yrast bands, one-phonon γ-bands, two-phonon γ-bands and quasi-particle bands in 102Mo, 104Mo and 106Mo are discussed. 相似文献

We report the laboratory experiment on a segmented mirror testbed that shows the use of a dispersed Rayleigh interferometer to phase segmented mirrors.Segment alignment of tip-tilt is fulfilled by overlapping diffraction pattern centroids of the three individual segments on the focal plane.A spherical interferometer is introduced to evaluate the performance of piston, tip-tilt sensing, and control closed-loop, and finally a total residual root-mean-square (RMS) surface error of about 45 nm is achieved, in which a typical error of about 20 nm is contributed by piston.These results demonstrate that the dispersed Rayleigh interferometer can successfully sense the piston of segmented mirrors and be used in phasing segmented telescopes under extensive studies. 相似文献
