The structural dispersion characteristics of guided surface modes in a hollow slab waveguide with a left-handed material substrate or cover are investigated. Dispersion relation is derived by using normalized parameters, and universal dispersion curves have been obtained analytically, by solving transcendental dispersion equations in a reverse way. Uniform Pb(OH)Cl nanotubes were synthesized for the first time through a reverse micelles system. The system was consisting
of C12E9 as a surfactant, n-pentanol as a cosurfactant, hexamethylene as the continuous oil phase and lead acetate or sodium chloride
solution as the dispersed aqueous phase. The obtained Pb(OH)Cl nanotubes have an average outer diameter of 60 nm, inner diameter
of about 40 nm, and an length up to 3 μm as TEM picture showed. And the range of the nanotube diameter is from 50 nm to 70 nm.
XRD result indicated that Pb(OH)Cl crystallized in an orthorhombic phase. Photoluminescent (PL) spectrum showed that the product
emit in near ultraviolet region and visible region at 335 nm and 439 nm respectively. The experimental results show that reaction
temperature have effect on the shape of Pb(OH)Cl nanotubes. A possible formation mechanism was also discussed. 相似文献

We propose a square-core metallic nanotube array and investigate its optical transmission property theoretically. We find that the transmission spectra can be tuned by the width of square-core edge, the intertube spacing and the dielectric constants of the core and the embedding medium between the nanotubes. We show that there is a band gap over a wide optical wavelength, and its width, number and position are sensitive to the tunable parameters. We also discuss the situation of the rectangular-core nanotube arrays and present that modification of the size of internal holes leads to redshift of the transmission spectra. Based on the localized nature of the field distributions, we show that there are local plasmonic resonant modes that originate from multipolar plasmon polaritons and a large number of opposing surface charges build up in the gap between adjacent nanotubes. 相似文献

The bandgap properties of 2D 8-fold symmetric photonic quasicrystals (PQCs) composed of a set of rods are numerically investigated for various fill factors, dielectric constants and propagation angles using the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method. Some interesting properties are found besides the known results: (i) the central frequency of the bandgap shifts to low frequency as r/a increases; (ii) an optimum fill factor to obtain the largest gap width exists, which decreases with increasing dielectric constant; (iii) compared with the behavior for a given fill factor, the variation of bandgap width for the optimum fill factor increases much more significantly with the dielectric constant. Selection guidelines for 8-fold symmetric PQC designs are provided for optimum fill factors and variation of the relative bandgap width at different dielectric constants. 相似文献

acoustic waves (SAWs) are determined by laser ultrasonic technique. The velocities of surface waves for X-, Y-, and Z-cut

Using the nonequilibrium Keldysh Green's function technique, the Fano effect of a parallel-coupled triple Rashba quantum dot system is investigated. The conductance as a function of electron energy is numerically calculated. Compared with the case of a parallel-coupled double quantum dot system, two additional Fano resonance peaks occur in the conductance spectrum. By adjusting the structural parameters, the two Fano resonance peaks may change into the resonance peaks. A laser image system for investigating the influence of orifice spacing on twin bubbles formation in shear-thinning fluid was established. The bubbles formation process at two orifices could be directly visualized and real-time recorded through computer by means of He–Ne laser as light source using the beam expanding and light amplification technology. The shape and size of bubbles generating in carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) aqueous solutions were studied experimentally at the orifices spacing 1Do, 2Do and 3Do (Do orifice diameter). The results reveal that the minute bubbles can be imaged clearly and amplified without distortion in the higher concentration solutions, and therefore the shape and size of bubbles are obtained accurately. With the increase of orifice spacing, bubble instantaneous volume in shear-thinning fluid decreases at the radial expansion stage but then increases at vertical elongation period, and the deformation and deviation of bubbles forming goes down due to the reduced interaction of adjacent bubble. 相似文献
