Liquid scintillators are widely used as the neutrino target in neutrino experiments.The absorption and emission of different components of a ternary liquid scintillator (Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) as the solvent,2,5-diphenyloxazole (PPO) as the fluor and p-bis-(o-methylstyryl)-benzene (bis-MSB) as wavelength shifter) are studied.It is shown that the absorption of this liquid scintillator is dominant by LAB and PPO at wavelengths less than 349 nm,and the absorption by bis-MSB becomes prevalent at the wavelength larger than 349 nm.The fluorescence quantum yields,which are the key parameters to model the absorption and re-emission processes in large liquid scintillation detectors,are measured.  相似文献

The two-photon absorption (TPA) characteristics of PMMA discs doped with three different dyes were studied using an fs-pulsed Ti-Sapphire laser as the pump source, and employing the open-aperture Z-scan technique. TPA cross-sections obtained for PMMA doped with the dyes PM597, DCM and rhodamine 6G–rhodamine B (co-doped) were found to be equal to 24.7, 33.3 and 32.3 GM, respectively (1 GM=10?50 cm4 s phot?1 mol?1). Furthermore, two-photon fluorescence was measured for the samples containing DCM and rhodamine 6G–rhodamine B (co-doped). Compared to the one-photon fluorescence spectrum, the peaks in the two-photon fluorescence spectrum were red shifted and the extent of red shift increased with increasing doping concentration. We have also observed that the red shift in the two-photon fluorescence peak of the samples in the solid form is much larger than that in the solution state. This phenomenon could be explained by a twisted intra-molecular charge transfer model.  相似文献

A deterministic secure quantum communication scheme using entanglement swapping is proposed. The sender prepares four-particle genuine entangled states and sends two particles in each state to the receiver and remains the rest particles. If the quantum channel is secure, they begin to communicate. After their four-particle projective measurements, the receiver can obtain the secret information according to his measurement outcomes and classical information from the sender. Using entanglement swapping, there are no particles carrying secret information to be transmitted.  相似文献

The Er3+-Yb3+ codoped Al2O3 nanoparticles with an average particle size of about 50 nm have been synthesized by an arc discharge synthesis method. The green and red up-conversion emissions centered at about 526, 547 and 677 nm, corresponding respectively to the 2H11/24I15/2, 4S3/24I15/2 and 4F9/24I15/2 transitions of Er3+, were detected by a 978-nm semiconductor laser diode excitation. The Annealing has evident effect on the up-conversion emissions of the samples: The red up-conversion emission is noticeable before annealing; however, the green up-conversion emission becomes predominant after annealing. The mixture of (Er,Yb)3Al5O12 and α-(Al,Er,Yb)2O3 phases is more favorable for green up-conversion emissions due to an enhancement of the ESA (I) of 4I11/2+a photon→4F7/2 and ET (III) of 2F5/2(Yb3+)+4I11/2(Er3+)→2F7/2(Yb3+)+4F7/2(Er3+) processes. The two-photon absorption up-conversion process is involved in the green and red up-conversion emissions. The results have proved that arc discharge synthesis is a new promising preparation technology for optical materials. The elastic and thermodynamic characteristics of OsC crystal have been predicted through a method of density functional theory within the generalized gradient approximation (GGA). Compared with WC-type OsC, NaCl-type OsC is not only energy unfavorable but also mechanics unstable. The five independent elastic constants (Cij), bulk modulus (B0), the dependence of bulk modulus on temperature and pressure as well as the thermal expansion coefficient (αV) at various temperatures for WC-type OsC are discussed. According to our calculations, WC-type OsC should be an ultra-incompressible material with high bulk modulus about 381 GPa. In addition, the bulk modulus will increase with increasing pressure while decrease with increasing temperature. The researches on the thermal expansion coefficient indicate that there will be a knee point during the process of thermal expansion coefficient variation versus increasing temperature. Our results may provide useful information for theoretical and experimental investigation of OsC.  相似文献

The surface dynamics of supercooled liquid-glycerol is studied by scanning the thickness of the glycerol film with single photon detection. Measurements are performed at room temperature well above the glycerol's glass transition temperature. It is shown that the surface dynamics of the glycerol film is very sensitive to the temperature. The linear relationship between the thickness of the film and the viscosity predicted by the Vogel--Fulcher--Tammann--Hesse (VFTH) law is also presented experimentally.  相似文献

采用原子层淀积(ALD)实现了10nm Al2O3为栅介质的高性能AlGaN/GaN金属氧化物半导体高电子迁移率晶体管(MOS-HEMT). 通过对MOS-HEMT器件和传统MES-HEMT器件室温特性的对比,验证了新型MOS-HEMT器件饱和电流和泄漏电流的优势. 通过分析MOS-HEMT器件在30—180℃之间特性的变化规律,与国内报道的传统MES-HEMT器件随温度退化程度对比,得出了器件饱和电流和跨导的退化主要是由于输运特性退化造成的,证明栅介质减小了引 关键词: 原子层淀积 AlGaN/GaN MOS-HEMT器件 温度特性  相似文献
