The optical properties of a planar metamaterial with gammadion-shaped chiral symmetry breaking holes array have been investigated both theoretically and experimentally. The results indicate that the introduction of the chiral symmetry breaking causes the split of the transmission peak and exerts large influence on the optical rotation and circular dichroism. Our metamaterials might have potential applications in future design of plasmonic devices. 相似文献

Bi(Fe0.95Co0.05)O3 films were prepared on conductive indium tin oxide (ITO)/glass substrates by chemical solution deposition. Well saturated polarization hysteresis loop has been observed with a remnant polarization value of about 22 μC/cm2 at room temperature. Weak ferromagnetism with saturation magnetization of about 3 emu/cm3 was observed at room temperature. The clear observation of both room temperature ferroelectric and ferromagnetic properties suggests the potential multiferroic applications of Bi(Fe0.95Co0.05)O3. 相似文献

光纤法布里—珀罗传感器复用、特别是串连复用的解调十分困难。为解决这个问题,从光纤法布里—珀罗应变传感器的基本原理出发、在仅有两只传感器复用的基本条件下,深人分析了复用系统组合输出光强信号及其分布特性;研究了对其进行傅里叶变换的解调原理及具体实现方法,分析了因复用信号不满足傅里叶变换条件而在变换域产生的畸变,进行了计算机仿真解调。在此基础上,搭建了两只传感器的串连复用实验系统,并用此方法实现了两只复用传感器的解调,且传感器之间的相互影响小于5%。理论与实验表明,虽然传感器的复用信号不满足傅里叶变换的标准条件,且仿真与实验存在一定差异,但所提出的傅里叶变换方法,基本可用于光纤法布里—珀罗传感器的串连复用解调。 相似文献

The analytical vectorial structure of a linearly polarized plane wave diffracted by an elliptical aperture is studied in detail based on the vector angular spectrum representation. It is found that the energy flux density spot sizes and the energy fluxes of the TE and TM term depend on the elliptical aperture configuration and the polarization direction of the incident plane wave. And the far fields can have smaller spots and larger energy fluxes for an elliptical aperture compared to a circular aperture with the same input wave amplitude. And its potential application in information encoding and transmission for free space communications is proposed apart from re-focusing to enhance the optical storage density. The optical limiting properties of the mixed liquid of carbon black
suspensions (CBS) and green tea solution were studied by using an 8
ns laser pulse at 532\,nm. The optical limiting effects of the CBS
and mixed liquid have been compared between 5 and 10\,Hz repetition
frequencies with nanosecond laser pulse. The experimental results
indicate that the optical limiting threshold of the sample with the
incidence laser at 10\,Hz repetition frequency is lower than at
5\,Hz repetition frequency. The possible reasons for the influence
of the repetition frequency on the samples are discussed. And by
observing the optical radiant distributions when the laser pulse
passing through different samples, a possible mechanism for the
observed effects is suggested. At the same time, the result shows
that the optical limiting of CBS is the dominant factor to optical

This paper presents an algorithm for detecting and tracking dim moving target in IR image sequence with low SNR. The algorithm, which is designed based on the locality preserving projection, accepts tensors as inputs. The justification for the algorithm comes from the role of the generalized eigenvalue problem in providing an optimal embedding for the manifold. Not only does the proposed method inherit the attractive characteristics of the locality preserving projections in terms of exploiting the intrinsic manifold structure, it is also appealing in terms of significant reduction in both space complexity and time complexity. This paper studies the two-vibron bound states in the β- Fermi Pasta-Ulam model by means of the number conserving approximation combined with the number state method. The results indicate that on-site, adjacent-site and mixed two-vibron bound states may exist in the model. A 2-D theoretical model was derived to present the temperature distribution of falling liquid films flowing over a vertical heated/cooled plate with constant temperature. And the temperature gradients for different flow rates and fluids were also discussed for different liquid films. The temperature distributions for liquid films of water, ethanol aqueous solutions and glycerol aqueous solutions were experimentally investigated with a sensitive thermal imaging system. It is found that the surface temperature of a film flowing over a vertical heated solid plate has a characteristic relationship with the film flow distance. A lower flow rate of the film or a higher temperature of the wall generally leads to a higher surface temperature in the film inception. For films of glycerol aqueous solutions under the same heating conditions, a lower glycerol concentration causes a higher surface temperature of the film, due to the decrease of the liquid viscosity, whereas the ethanol concentration is found to have little influence on the temperature distribution of the film surface. Comparisons of the experimental data and the theoretical model show that the model can adequately describe the surface temperature distribution of a heated falling liquid film. 相似文献
