In this paper, a three dimensional ratio-dependent chemostat model with periodically pulsed input is considered. By using the discrete dynamical system determined by the stroboscopic map and Floquet theorem, an exact periodic solution with positive concentrations of substrate and predator in the absence of prey is obtained. When β is less than some critical value the boundary periodic solution (xs(t), 0, zs(t)) is locally stable, and when β is larger than the critical value there are periodic oscillations in substrate, prey and predator. Increasing the impulsive period τ, the system undergoes a series of period-doubling bifurcation leading to chaos, which implies that the dynamical behaviors of the periodically pulsed ratio-dependent predator-prey ecosystem are very complex.

Motion of curves and surfaces in affine geometry

In this paper, motion of space curves by endowing an extra space variable in centro-affine geometry is discussed. It is shown that the 2 + 1-dimensional integrable shallow water wave equation arises from such motion. Motion of curves specified by acceleration field in centro-affine geometry is also investigated, some integrable system are found to be associated with the curve motion law.     

Uniform persistence for nonautonomous and random parabolic Kolmogorov systems

The purpose of this paper is to investigate uniform persistence for nonautonomous and random parabolic Kolmogorov systems via the skew-product semiflows approach. It is first shown that the uniform persistence of the skew-product semiflow associated with a nonautonomous (random) parabolic Kolmogorov system implies that of the system. Various sufficient conditions in terms of the so-called unsaturatedness and/or Lyapunov exponents for uniform persistence of the skew-product semiflows are then provided. Among others, it is shown that if the associated skew-product semiflow has a global attractor and its restriction to the boundary of the state space has a Morse decomposition which is unsaturated or whose external Lyapunov exponents are positive, then it is uniformly persistent. More specific conditions are discussed for uniform persistence in n-species, particularly 3-species, random competitive systems.

本文报道了谷氨酸钠对0.6N HCl所致的粘胃膜损伤的影响.0.6N HCl给饥饿大鼠灌胃,可引起严重的胃粘膜损伤,但提前15min以0.25g/kg和0.5g/kg谷氨酸钠溶液灌胃,再给予0.6NHCl,均可防止由盐酸所致的胃粘膜损伤。消炎痛提前60min皮下注射,可阻断谷氨酸钠的细胞保护作用,此外谷氨酸钠     

Hot deformation in nanocrystalline Ndben Feben B backward extruded rings

Radially oriented Nd-Fe-B rings are prepared by backward extrusion of fine grained melt-spun powder. Melt-spun powder with the nominal composition of Nd_30.5Fe_bal.Co_6.0Ga_0.6Al_0.2B_0.9 (wt%) is used as starting material. The effects of process variables, such as deformation temperature (T_d), strain rate (ε) and height reduction (Δh%), on the magnetic properties of the rings are investigated. A scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with an energy spectrum device is used to study the metallograph and microfracture of the extruded rings. The B_r and (BH)_max reach the optimum values at T_d=800℃, ε =0.01 mm/s, and Δh% =70%. It is found by SEM observations that the particle boundaries, which seemingly correspond to the interfaces of the starting melt-spun powders, emerge after the corrosion of metallography specimens. This is helpful for studying the effects of powder-powder interface on the local deformation and deformation homogeneity in the rings. For different spatial positions of the extruded rings, there are characteristic metallographies and microfractures. The upper end of the rings has the least deformation and worst texture, and therefore the worst magnetic properties. The magnetic properties in the radial direction increase slightly along the axis from the bottom to the middle, then steeply decrease at the upper end of the ring. The deformation and the formation-of-texturing processes are discussed. The deformation and the texturing formation of melt-spun Nd-Fe-B alloys probably involve grain boundary sliding and grain rotation, the solution-precipitation process and preferential growth of Nd₂Fe₁₄B nanograins along the easy growth a-axis.     

High temperature superconducting thin films for microwave filters

YBa₂Cu₃O_7-δ and Tl₂Ba₂CaCu₂O₈ thin films for microwave filters were synthesized by pulsed laser deposition and the two-step thalliation process. Substrate quality requirements and the relation of thin film morphology, microstructure with microwave surface resistance were discussed.     

Global Approximately Controllability and Nite Dimensional Exact Controllability for Parabolic Equation

We study the globally approximate controllability and finite-dimensional exact controllability of parabolic equation where the control acts on a mobile subset of Ω,or, a curve in Q =Ω × (0, T).     

The price of fairness with the extended Perles–Maschler solution

In Nash bargaining problem, due to fairness concerns of players, instead of maximizing the sum of utilities of all players, an implementable solution should satisfy some axioms or characterizations. Such a solution can result in the so-called price of fairness, because of the reduction in the sum of utilities of all players. An important issue is to quantify the system efficiency loss under axiomatic solutions through the price of fairness. Based on Perles–Maschler solution of two-player Nash bargaining problem, this paper deals with the extended Perles–Maschler solution of multi-player Nash bargaining problem. We give lower bounds of three measures of the system efficiency for this solution, and show that the lower bounds are asymptotically tight.
