Semiparametric models with diverging number of predictors arise in many contemporary scientific areas.Variable selection for these models consists of two components:model selection for non-parametric components and selection of significant variables for the parametric portion.In this paper,we consider a variable selection procedure by combining basis function approximation with SCAD penalty.The proposed procedure simultaneously selects significant variables in the parametric components and the nonparametric components.With appropriate selection of tuning parameters,we establish the consistency and sparseness of this procedure. 相似文献

In mesoscopic reaction systems that contain only finite number of reactants, molecular fluctuation (or the so called internal noise), which can be characterized by the system size, plays an important role in nonlinear systems. In this work, the effect of internal noise is studied in a mesoscopic hormone signaling model with the presence of external perturbations (noise or signal). Simulation results reveal that the internal noise can play a constructive role to optimize the regularity of the noise induced internal signal only when external perturbation is present. This is a novel external perturbations induced system size resonance, which indicates that in complex mesoscopic systems, the system can automatically avoid the destructive environmental effects by tuning its size. Such kind of nontrivial cooperative effect may attribute to the fact that external perturbations broadened the regulation scope of the key mutual feedback. Therefore, current finding is of practical significance for similar physiological systems where the intercellular regulation plays the dominate role for signaling. 相似文献

为了使单天线接收机通过接收解调信号能实现通信和方向测量功能,提出了一种多波束调制的概念.它利用双波束或多波束的空间特性来实现数字调制和方向调制.设计了一个六元线天线发射阵列,将中间的四元天线两两成对激励,形成双波束,用双波束调制实现数字通信和方向粗测,然后对大间距的二元天线用不同的相差激励,形成有错位的多波束,用多波束调制实现数字通信和方向精测.仿真结果表明这种多波束调制实现了在调制信号设计层面上的数字通信与测向的深度综合. 相似文献

The thermomechanical and optical characteristics of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) are investigated using a thermomechanical, a nanoindentation, anda photometric analyzer for flexible electronic applications. Experimental results show that thermomechanical characteristics, thermal elongation, and expansion, are greatly influenced at stretching ratios of over four in the stretching direction. Consequently, shrinking occurs because of higher cohesion at the tie chains of the amorphous regions. Additionally, there are almost uniform hardness and Young's modulus of about 0.25 ± 0.01 and 3.44 ± 0.14 GPa when the penetration depth is about 1000 nm. Unstretched PVDF films have a higher absorbance in the ultraviolet light range than stretched films do. PVDF films stretched over three times their original length have transmittance of above 90% at near infrared light. In addition, PVDF films stretched at lower temperatures show a lower transmittance because the films easily whitened during α to β phase transformations. A kind of new multi-layer adsorbent including Tenax TA/multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs)/Carboxen 564 was developed for collecting volatile organic compounds. The adsorption and desorption efficiencies of 11 kinds of adsorbents (including Activated charcoal, Tenax TA, Carboxen 564, Chromosorb 101, Chromosorb 102, Chromosorb 103, Chromosorb 105, Porapak Q, GDX 301, XAD-2, and MWCNTs) were compared. By combining the advantages of Tenax TA, MWCNTs, and Carboxen 564, new type of multi-layer adsorbents was developed. The adsorption and desorption efficiency, the sampling reproducibility, and the effect of water were improved using multi-layer adsorbents, Tenax TA/MWCNTs/Carboxen 564. New multi-layer adsorbents were successfully applied to the determination of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in ambient air. 相似文献
