Aluminum is a kind of metal that we often encounter. It can also be absorbed by the human body invisibly and will affect our bodies to a certain extent, e.g., by causing symptoms associated with Alzheimer’s disease. Therefore, the detection of aluminum is particularly important. The methods to detect metal ions include precipitation methods and electrochemical methods, which are cumbersome and costly. Fluorescence detection is a fast and sensitive method with a low cost and non-toxicity. Traditional fluorescent nanomaterials have a high cost, high toxicity, and cause harm to the human body. Graphene quantum dots are a new type of fluorescent nanomaterials with a low cost and non-toxicity that can compensate for the defects of traditional fluorescent nanomaterials. In this paper, c-GQDs and o-GQDs with good performance were prepared by a bottom-up hydrothermal method using o-phenylenediamine as a precursor and citric acid or boric acid as modulators. They have very good optical properties: o-GQDs exhibit orange fluorescence under UV irradiation, while c-GQDs exhibits cyan fluorescence. Then, different metal ions were used for ion detection, and it was found that Al3+ had a good quenching effect on the fluorescence of the o-GQDs. The reason for this phenomenon may be related to the strong binding of Al3+ ions to the N and O functional groups of the o-GQDs and the rapid chelation kinetics. During the chelation process, the separation of o-GQDs’ photoexcited electron hole pairs leads to their rapid electron transfer to Al3+, in turn leading to the occurrence of a fluorescence-quenching phenomenon. In addition, there was a good linear relationship between the concentration of the Al3+ ions and the fluorescence intensity, and the correlation coefficient of the linear regression equation was 0.9937. This illustrates the potential for the wide application of GQDs in sensing systems, while also demonstrating that Al3+ sensors can be used to detect Al3+ ions. 相似文献

Color is one of the important indicators affecting the quality of fermented pepper sauces, and it is closely related to carotenoid composition. This study systematically analyzed the changes in carotenoids and related physiochemical indices during the fermentation of yellow lantern pepper sauce. The CIELab color values indicated that L* and C* displayed a significant decreasing trend during fermentation. After 35 days of fermentation, the total carotenoid content significantly reduced from 3446.36 to 1556.50 μg/g DW (p < 0.05), and the degradation rate was 54.84%. Among them, the total content of carotene decreased by 56.03% during fermentation, whereas the degradation rate of xanthophylls and their esters was 44.47%. According to correlation analysis, violaxanthin myristate and lutein played a pivotal role in L*, a *, b *, chroma (C*), and yellowness index (YI). Moreover, PCA analysis indicated that lactic acid and acetic acid were the important qualities affecting the stability of pigment in fermented yellow lantern pepper sauce, which might also be the inducement of the color change. This work gives additional information concerning the discoloration of yellow lantern pepper sauce during fermentation and provides theory evidence regulating and improving the sensory qualities of yellow lantern pepper sauce. 相似文献

Arachis hypogaea L. ‘Tainan 14’ has purple skin characteristics. This study investigated the effects of different materials (shelled or unshelled peanuts) and temperatures (120 or 140 °C) on the properties of extracted peanut oil. The results show that its antioxidant components (total flavonoid, α–tocopherol, and γ-tocopherol) and oxidative stability were mainly affected by the roasting temperature (p < 0.05). Fifty-eight volatile compounds were identified by peanut oil oxidation and divided into three main groups during the roasting process using principal component analysis. The volatile formation changes of different materials and temperatures were assessed by agglomerative hierarchical clustering analysis. These results provide useful reference information for peanut oil applications in the food industry. 相似文献

Increasing concerns over the use of antimicrobial growth promoters in animal production has prompted the need to explore the use of natural alternatives such as phytogenic compounds and probiotics. Citrus EOs have the potential to be used as an alternative to antibiotics in animals. The purpose of this research was to study the antibacterial and antioxidant activities of five citrus EOs, grapefruit essential oil (GEO), sweet orange EO (SEO), bergamot EO (BEO), lemon EO (LEO) and their active component d-limonene EO (DLEO). The chemical composition of EOs was analyzed by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The antibacterial activities of the EOs on three bacteria (Escherichia coli, Salmonella and Lactobacillus acidophilus) were tested by measuring the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC), minimal bactericidal concentration (MBC) and inhibition zone diameter (IZD). The antioxidant activities of EOs were evaluated by measuring the free radical scavenging activities of DPPH and ABTS. We found that the active components of the five citrus EOs were mainly terpenes, and the content of d-limonene was the highest. The antibacterial test showed that citrus EOs had selective antibacterial activity, and the LEO had the best selective antibacterial activity. Similarly, the LEO had the best scavenging ability for DPPH radicals, and DLEO had the best scavenging ability for ABTS. Although the main compound of the five citrus EOs was d-limonene, the selective antibacterial and antioxidant activity of them might not be primarily attributed to the d-limonene, but some other compounds’ combined action. 相似文献

Hypoxia is a common biological condition in many malignant solid tumors that plays an imperative role in regulating tumor growth and impacting the treatment’s therapeutic effect. Therefore, the hypoxia assessment is of great significance in predicting tumor development and evaluating its prognosis. Among the plenty of existing tumor diagnosis techniques, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) offers certain distinctive features, such as being free of ionizing radiation and providing images with a high spatial resolution. In this study, we develop a fluorescent traceable and hypoxia-sensitive T1-weighted MRI probe (Fe3O4-Met-Cy5.5) via conjugating notable hypoxia-sensitive metronidazole moiety and Cy5.5 dye with ultrasmall iron oxide (Fe3O4) nanoparticles. The results of in vitro and in vivo experiments show that Fe3O4-Met-Cy5.5 has excellent performance in relaxivity, biocompatibility, and hypoxia specificity. More importantly, the obvious signal enhancement in hypoxic areas indicates that the probe has great feasibility for sensing tumor hypoxia via T1-weighted MRI. These promising results may unlock the potential of Fe3O4 nanoparticles as T1-weighted contrast agents for the development of clinical hypoxia probes. 相似文献

Protein arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5) is a popular anticancer target that regulates histone or nonhistone methylation and is linked to the development and poor prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer. PRMT5 inhibitors have shown great promise in clinical trials as a cancer therapy. However, most inhibitors reported recently act in a SAM-competitive mode and lack structural diversity. In this paper, a novel non-SAM inhibitor, 3039-0164, was discovered by the structure-based virtual screening method. The binding mechanism of 3039-0164 to PRMT5 was revealed via molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations. 3039-0164 inhibited PRMT5 enzymatic activity, downregulated the expression of PRMT5 downstream target genes (FGFR3 and eIF4E), and blocked the activation of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR and ERK signaling pathways. The discovery of 3039-0164 provides precise and creative hit compounds for the design optimization of PRMT5 lead compounds in non-small cell lung cancer. 相似文献

Zhejiang Ophiopogon japonicus (ZOJ) is a specific variety of Ophiopogon japonicus with characteristic steroidal saponins and homoisoflavonoids, which are also main pharmacodynamic constituents with clinical effects, including curing inflammation and cardiovascular diseases. However, few analysis methods were applied to simultaneously and quantitatively determine two kinds of its constituents, and hazardous organic solvents are mostly used for extraction. In this study, a new validated simultaneous extraction and determination method for four characteristic steroidal saponins and homoisoflavonoids in ZOJ was established by ionic liquid–ultrasonic extraction (IL-UAE) combined with HPLC-DAD-ELSD analysis, which can be used for the quality control of ZOJ. Chromatographic separation was performed with a DAD wavelength at 296 nm, and the ELSD parameters of the drift tube temperature (DTT), atomizer temperature (AT), and nitrogen gas pressure (NGP) were set at 20% heating power, 70 °C, and 25 psi, respectively. The optimal IL-UAE conditions were 1 mol/L [Bmim]CF3SO3 aqueous solution, a liquid–material ratio of 40 mL/g, and an ultrasonic time of 60 min. The proposed method is reliable, reproducible, and accurate, which were verified with real sample assays. Consequently, this work will be helpful for the quality control of ZOJ. It can also present a promising reference for the simultaneous extraction and determination of different kinds of constituents in other medicinal plants. 相似文献

In this study, a simple colorimetric method was established to detect copper ion (Cu2+), sulfathiazole (ST), and glucose based on the acetylcholinesterase (AChE)-like activity of zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8). The AChE-like activity of ZIF-8 can hydrolyze acetylthiocholine chloride (ATCh) to thiocholine (TCh), which will further react with 5,5′-dithiobis (2-nitrobenzoic acid) (DTNB) to generate 2-nitro-5-thiobenzoic acid (TNB) that has a maximum absorption peak at 405 nm. The effects of different reaction conditions (buffer pH, the volume of ZIF-8, reaction temperature and time, and ATCh concentration) were investigated. Under the optimized conditions, the value of the Michaelis-Menten constant (Km) is measured to be 0.83 mM, which shows a high affinity toward the substrate (ATCh). Meanwhile, the ZIF-8 has good storage stability, which can maintain more than 80.0% of its initial activity after 30 days of storage at room temperature, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) of batch-to-batch (n = 3) is 5.1%. The linear dependences are obtained based on the AChE-like activity of ZIF-8 for the detection of Cu2+, ST, and glucose in the ranges of 0.021–1.34 and 5.38–689.66 µM, 43.10–517.24 µM, and 0.0054–1.40 mM, respectively. The limit of detections (LODs) are calculated to be 20.00 nM, 9.25 µM, and 5.24 µM, respectively. Moreover, the sample spiked recoveries of Cu2+ in lake water, ST in milk, and glucose in strawberry samples were measured, and the results are in the range of 98.4–115.4% with the RSD (n = 3) lower than 3.3%. The construction of a multi-component heterostructure for promoting the exciton splitting and charge separation of conjugated polymer semiconductors has attracted increasing attention in view of improving their photocatalytic activity. Here, we integrated Au nanoparticles (NPs) decorated CeO2 (Au–CeO2) with polymeric carbon nitride (PCN) via a modified thermal polymerization method. The combination of the interfacial interaction between PCN and CeO2 via N-O or C-O bonds, with the interior electronic transmission channel built by the decoration of Au NPs at the interface between CeO2 and PCN, endows CeAu–CN with excellent efficiency in the transfer and separation of photo-induced carriers, leading to the enhancement of photochemical activity. The amount-optimized CeAu–CN nanocomposites are capable of producing ca. 80 μmol· H2 per hour under visible light irradiation, which is higher than that of pristine CN, Ce–CN and physical mixed CeAu and PCN systems. In addition, the photocatalytic activity of CeAu–CN remains unchanged for four runs in 4 h. The present work not only provides a sample and feasible strategy to synthesize highly efficient organic polymer composites containing metal-assisted heterojunction photocatalysts, but also opens up a new avenue for the rational design and synthesis of potentially efficient PCN-based materials for efficient hydrogen evolution. 相似文献
