Non-equilibrium front propagation in a two-dimensional network modelling wildfire propagation was studied. The model includes deterministic long-range interactions due to radiation and a time weighting procedure. Three weight-dependent propagation regimes were found: dynamical, static, and non-propagative. The dynamical regime shows saturation for small weight values and a percolation transition area depending on the weight and size of the interaction domain. From the scaling interface exponents, the model seems to belong to the dynamical percolation universality class. In the limit of static regime it belongs to the random deposition class.  相似文献

Highly sulfonated single-walled carbon nanotube-catalyzed synthesis of 14-aryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes in excellent yields and very short reaction times. Sulfonated single-walled carbon nanotubes are prepared using a chemical and simple process and it characterized by Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Raman spectroscopy, Thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and acid-base titration. The sulfonated single-walled carbon nanotube was easily separated by simple filtration and was recycled eight consecutive times without any loss in its activity.  相似文献

Copper and cobalt substituted spinel ferrites Cu1‐xCoxFe2O4 (0≤X≤1) have been synthesized by using hydrothermal method. The resultant spinel ferrites were systematically characterized by different techniques such as X‐ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDX), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR). It was indicated that all the resultant spinel ferrites obtained by the hydrothermal method had the single‐phase crystalline. The resultant spinel ferrites were employed in the synthesis of 14‐aryl‐14‐H‐dibenzo[a,j]xanthene derivatives. It was found that the nanocatalyst Cu0.5Co0.5Fe2O4 displays the best performance in the synthesis of 14‐aryl‐14H‐dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes. The catalyst was reused several times without significant loss of its activity for the preparation of desired product. In addition high yields of the products, solvent‐free conditions and reusability of the catalyst are other worthwhile advantages of the present study.  相似文献

A Kronig-Penney model with a constant electric field is used to study the transmission properties of a non-interacting electron one-dimensional (1D) ordered and disordered systems with uniformly distributed negative strengths of δ-function potentials (wells). In ordered systems we examine the origin of the jumps of the transmission coefficient and the short-range localization (occurring before the first jump) observed previously. For disordered wells, we also examine the phase-diagram in the energy-disorder plane. The short-range localization is observed as a peak in the inverse participation ratio and as a minimum in the localization length. We found that the two distinctive behaviours correspond to a negative differential resistance and to a resonance at particular points corresponding to the edges of the Brillouin zones. Given a C*-algebra A, and an ideal J of A, we define a relative group K^0(A,J) in terms of a relative universal C*-algebra for the pair (A,J). We show that the natural restriction map K^0(A,J) K0(J) is an isomorphism, and that, if J is a semisplit ideal of A, the Baum–Douglas–Taylor relative K-homology is recovered. Abstract

Supported diacidic ionic liquid on magnetic silica nanoparticles (SDAIL@magnetic nanoSiO2) was successfully prepared through a multi-step approach. 2,2- bis ((3- methylimidazolidin-1-yl) methyl) propane- 1,3- diol bromide salt was immobilized onto the surface of magnetic silica nanoparticles via covalent bonding to prepare a novel powerful acidic catalyst. The synthesized catalyst was characterized by FT-IR, SEM, TGA, VSM, N2 adsorption–desorption measurements and acid-base titration. The catalytic activity of the prepared SDAIL@magnetic nanoSiO2 was investigated for the selective diesterification of alcohols by phthalic anhydride to afford corresponding dialkyl plasticizers under solvent-free conditions. The nature of two acidic counter anions as well as the presence of Lewis acidic species (Fe3O4) on the magnetic nanosilica and high surface area of the nanosilica influenced the behavior of the catalyst. Surperisingly, the high acidic character of the catalyst facilitates the reaction with a short reaction time. Furthermore, TG analysis strongly demonstrates that major content of IL is still stable on the support up to 290 °C, so catalyst has a good thermal stability. Under the optimized conditions, the conversion of phthalic anhydride was 100% and diester plasticizers were obtained with excellent yields (80–100%). The SDAIL@magnetic nanoSiO2 catalyst showed a good reusability and could be easily separated from the reaction mixture using an external magnet thanks to its superparamagnetic behavior and reused for several runs without significant activity loss. An important advantage of the SDAIL@magnetic nanoSiO2 was its high-hydrophilicity resulted in excellent selectivity towards the formation of only diesters which are commonly used plasticizers in different industries.Graphical abstract

Myrtus communis L. essential oil (EO), mainly composed of myrtenyl acetate (30.6%), linalool (14.9%), α-pinene (11.10%) and 1,8-cineole or eucalyptol (9.9%), was microencapsulated with maltodextrin by emulsification and spray-drying, reaching a yield and efficiency of 43.7 and 48.7%, respectively. The microencapsulated myrtle EO (MMEO) was then evaluated regarding its gastroprotective activity in a model of ethanol/HCl-induced acute gastric ulcer in Wistar rats. Pretreatment with MMEO induced a remarkable inhibition of gastric lesions and acidity, correlated to high healing and protection percentages. Moreover, it exerted a potent anti-inflammatory effect on the gastric mucosa, counteracting EtOH-induced gastric lipoperoxidation and preventing the depletion of the antioxidant enzyme activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and glutathione peroxidase (GPx). Taken together, the gastroprotective action of encapsulated MMEO may be multi-factorial, and ascribable, at least in parts, to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.  相似文献
