We report on a reference‐free Raman spectroscopy method for a precise thickness determination of the multilayered graphene oxide flakes. The method is based on the normalization of the total integral intensity of D and G Raman bands to the integral intensity of the second‐order optical phonon peak of the silicon substrate in the Raman spectrum. The normalization provides discrete ratio values corresponding to the number of graphene oxide layers in the respective flakes with the intensity linearly increasing with the number of layers. This provides a fast and robust determination of the thickness of graphene oxide flakes in terms of the layer number up to high values. A comparison with conventional spectrally resolved reflectivity mapping shows similar sensitivity, while selectivity to particular functional chemical groups is a bonus of the Raman‐based method. The deformation energetics of highly extended poly(methylene) segments with conformational defects of the kink and jog types, is investigated by molecular mechanics calculations. The deformation potential displays abrupt discontinuities as a result of sudden gauche‐to‐trans conformational transitions accompanied by a release of the elastic energy stored in all valence parameters. By stretching, the chain defects are sequentially annihilated, with the weakest elements interconverting first. Due to sudden drops in force the calculated force–length curves F(R) display a sawtooth‐like profile. The force jumps define a maximum load Fc that defect chains can bear prior to conformational “yielding”. The Fc in the range about 0.7–1.1 nN is found in highly extended multikink chains. The results suggest that the sawtooth‐like profile can be a common feature of mechanochemistry of bridging polymers with the restricted number of available conformations. A similar pattern of F(R) curves were previously observed at stretching and sequential unfolding of compact structural domains in biomacromolecules. Further, the calculations predict a distinct reduction of the longitudinal Young's modulus E with increasing concentration of kinks in molecules.  相似文献

This work describes the first preparation and application of primary trifluoroborate-iminiums (pTIMs) as a new, easily accessible and valuable class of organoboron derivatives. An array of structurally diverse pTIMs was prepared from potassium acyltrifluoroborates in excellent yields. Highly efficient and enantioselective [(R,R)-TethTsDpen-RuCl] complex-catalyzed hydrogenation of pTIMs provided direct access to chiral primary trifluoroborate-ammoniums (pTAMs). Moreover, facile synthesis of a series of structurally diverse chiral α-aminoboronic acids from chiral pTAMs was accomplished through novel, operationally simple and efficient conversion using hexamethyldisiloxane/aqueous HCl. Using no chromatography at any point, this work allowed easy access to chiral α-aminoboronic acids, as exemplified by the synthesis of optically pure anti-cancer drugs bortezomib and ixazomib.

Starting with potassium acyltrifluoroborates (KATs), N-unprotected chiral α-aminoboronic acids are prepared in three simple steps without chromatography. This facile methodology will tap the broad potential of these valuable compounds.  相似文献

The efficient synthesis of 3-, 4-, and 5-O-feruloylquinic acids starting from d-(?)-quinic acid is described. Esterification of suitably protected quinic acid derivatives with 3-(4-acetoxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-acryloyl chloride and subsequent hydrolysis of all the protecting groups afforded the title products in overall yields of 33%, 15%, and 45%, respectively, (from quinic acid).  相似文献

Ab initio calculations of the optical rotatory power of the natural cytokine modulator cytoxazone 1 and its trans-diastereomer 2, as well as the structural isomers cis-3 and trans-4 isocytoxazones, have been performed at four different wavelengths (589, 546, 435, and 405 nm) by Density Functional Theory. The calculation of ORD curves provides a reliable method for the assignment of absolute configuration of these conformationally flexible molecules. The absolute configurations of isocytoxazones has been established as (+)-(4R,5S)-cis-3 and (+)-(4S,5S)-trans-4.  相似文献
