The surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor system with dispersionless microfluidics for the direct and label-free detection
of a soluble vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (sVEGFR-1) is described. The detection approach takes advantage of
an affinity interaction between sVEGFR-1 and its ligand, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF-A), which is covalently
immobilized on the surface of the SPR sensor. The ability of the immobilized VEGF-A to specifically bind the sVEGFR-1 receptor
is demonstrated in a buffer. The detection of sVEGFR-1 in 2% human blood plasma is carried out by using the sequential injection
approach. The detection limit of 25 ng/mL is achieved. In addition, we demonstrate that the functional surface of the sensor

The characteristic function is introduced, describing completely the monochromating effect of monochromating units. Expressions for this function are presented for monochromating units frequently used. An example of computation for Johansson's unit shows the conditions in a special case. The curves indicating the shift of the wavelength centroid of monochromated radiation for crystals of different perfection allow conclusions to be drawn about the influence of the alignment of the crystal on precision measurements of lattice constants. The experiments verify the suggested model. The computations for a given experimental arrangement permit a simple determination of the effective breadth of the reflection curve, if a distance of two suitably chosen diffraction lines of a polycrystalline specimen is measured. Finally, it was found experimentally that a small elastic bending does not essentially alter the reflection curve of highly elastic and imperfect crystals unless macroscopic distortions are present.

Summary: Siliceous mesoporous molecular sieves MCM-41, MCM-48 and SBA-15 and organised mesoporous alumina represent progressive supports for new heterogeneous catalysts for olefin metathesis and metathesis polymerization. In combination with Mo and Re oxides they provide catalysts of considerably higher activity in comparison with those based on conventional silica and alumina. Capillary electrophoresis (CE) was employed for the determination of thermodynamic acidity constants (pKa) and actual ionic mobilities of polycationic antimicrobial peptides (AMPs). The effective electrophoretic mobilities of AMPs were measured by CE in a series of the background electrolytes within a wide pH range (2.00–12.25), at constant ionic strength (25 mM) and ambient temperature, using polybrene coated fused silica capillaries to suppress sorption of cationic AMPs to the capillary wall. Eventually, Haarhoff–Van der Linde peak fitting function was used for the determination of correct migration times of some AMPs peaks that were distorted by electromigration dispersion. The measured effective mobilities were corrected to 25°C. Mixed acidity constants, , and actual ionic mobilities, mi, of AMPs were determined by the nonlinear regression analysis of pH dependence of their effective mobilities. The values were recalculated to thermodynamic pKas using the Debye–Hückel theory. Thermodynamic pKa of imidazolium group of histidine residues was found to be in the range 3.72–4.98, pKa of α‐NH3+ group was in the range 6.14–6.93, and pKa of ε‐NH3+ group of lysine spanned the interval 7.26–9.84, depending on the particular amino acid sequence of the AMPs. Actual ionic mobilities of AMPs with positive charges from one to six elementary units achieved values (9.8 – 36.5) × 10?9 m2V?1s?1. 相似文献
