Electronic structure of bivalent copper off-center complexes in SrF<Subscript>2</Subscript> crystals from data of EPR and ENDOR spectroscopy

The electronic structure of bivalent copper off-center complexes in SrF₂ crystals is calculated from experimental data obtained earlier by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and electron-nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) spectroscopy. The electronic structure parameters characterizing the unpaired-electron density in the vicinity of the nucleus of a copper impurity ion are determined, and the parameters of covalent bonds between an impurity copper ion and three groups of the fluorine ions nearest to this impurity are calculated. It is demonstrated that states of the ground electron configuration of the bivalent copper impurity complex involve an admixture of excited electron configurations due to electron transfer from the ligand to 4s and 4p unfilled shells of the copper ion.     

Aerosol aspiration into a cylindrical sampler from a low-velocity downward flow and from calm air

The problem of aerosol aspiration into a two-dimensional cylindrical sampler from a low-velocity downward flow and from calm air is solved. A simple analytical model for the velocity field of the carrier medium in the vicinity of the sampler with allowance for the finite size of the input orifice is proposed. Parametric studies of the aspiration factor as a function of the Stokes number for different ratios of the free-stream and aspiration velocities and different gravity-induced sedimentation velocities for two positions of the sampler are performed. Quasi-stationary solution of a problem of electrochemical copying of a cogged surface

We solve a problem of non-stationary electrochemical machining by an electrode-tool with a cogged form. For simulation of the process of anode dissolution we use a step-function for the current efficiency. We find an exact (i.e., expressed in quadratures) solution to the problem and obtain numerical results allowing to define the shape of the processed surface in various moments of time.     

Influence of structural deformations on the magnetic properties of Jahn-Teller complexes of divalent copper in CaxSr1−x F2 mixed crystals

Crystals of variable constituency Ca_xSr_1−x F₂:Cu (0⩽x⩽0.05, x≅0.5, 1.0⩾x⩾0.95) are investigated by EPR and x-ray structural analysis. The electron-Zeeman, intrinsic hyperfine, and ligand hyperfine interaction parameters are determined; they characterize the magnetic properties of the copper paramagnetic complexes formed in the crystals. Models of the molecular structures of these complexes are discussed, along with the influence of structural deformations and vibronic interactions on their magnetic properties. Fiz. Tverd. Generalized Weighted Morrey Estimates for Marcinkiewicz Integrals with Rough Kernel Associated with Schrödinger Operator and Their Commutators

Let L =-?+V(x) be a Schr?dinger operator, where ? is the Laplacian on ■~n,while nonnegative potential V(x) belonging to the reverse H?lder class. The aim of this paper is to give generalized weighted Morrey estimates for the boundedness of Marcinkiewicz integrals with rough kernel associated with Schr?dinger operator and their commutators.Moreover, the boundedness of the commutator operators formed by BMO functions and Marcinkiewicz integrals with rough kernel associated with Schr?dinger operators is discussed on the generalized weighted Morrey spaces. As its special cases, the corresponding results of Marcinkiewicz integrals with rough kernel associated with Schr?dinger operator and their commutators have been deduced, respectively. Also, Marcinkiewicz integral operators, rough Hardy-Littlewood(H-L for short) maximal operators, Bochner-Riesz means and parametric Marcinkiewicz integral operators which satisfy the conditions of our main results can be considered as some examples.     

General kinetic equation and irreversibility in statistical systems

A new statistical criterion of systems evolution was determined. Nonequilibrium statistical and variational derivations of general kinetic equations are considered. Evolution of nonequilibrium Boltzmann-Gibbs-Shannon entropy, Hamilton function and Hamilton function production are examined.     

Trigonometric entropy types in thermodynamics of nonextensive systems

The Abel entropy group is defined and the general law of composition of nonadditive entropy types with quadratic nonlinearity is derived. Its most general properties are given.
