The technology of selective plasma etching was applied to increase the surface roughness of graphite/polymer composite. Etching was performed with a low pressure weakly ionised oxygen plasma created with a RF generator of the output power of 200 W and frequency of 27.12 MHz. The density of charged particles, density of neutral oxygen atoms and the electron temperature was about 1×1016 m−3, 4×1021 m−3, and 5 eV, respectively. The effects of plasma treatment were observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), electron microprobe (EMPA) and Talysurf. It was found that the surface roughness was increased by approximately 15 times, from a virgin sample at the roughness of Ra=0.27 μm to a very rough surface with Ra=4 μm. The roughness increased with increasing plasma exposure time. The EMPA results showed that the amount of sulphur in the surface layer decreased with increasing etching time indicating that PPS polymer was the material etched preferentially. 相似文献

The technique of Brillouin light scattering is used to observe strong excitation of magnons in antiferromagnetically coupled trilayers of Fe/Cr/Fe at room temperature. The magnons are driven out of equilibrium by a microwave current applied in the trilayer through point contacts. The magnitude of the scattering intensity is investigated as a function of the magnon wave number and applied magnetic field. Oxidation of stainless steel surface in oxygen atmosphere was investigated by Auger electron spectroscopy (AES) depth profiling. The samples made of AISI 304L stainless steel were exposed to highly non-equilibrium oxygen atmosphere at different temperatures between 300 and 800 K and for different periods between 5 and 600 s. The degree of dissociation of oxygen molecules was of the order of 10%. A thin oxide layer formed on the stainless steel surface consisted of the iron oxide. The thickness depended on the sample temperature. At room temperature it was 7 nm, and it remained the same up to 200 °C. With further increase of temperature, the thickness of the oxide layer increased and reached 40 nm at 450 °C. The thickness was independent of exposure time. The results were explained by two mechanisms of oxide growth. Up to 200 °C the oxidation was run by electro-migration, while at higher temperatures the thermal induced migration prevailed. 相似文献

π-Conjugated, narrow band gap copolymers containing pyridal[2,1,3]thiadiazole (PT) were synthesized via starting materials that prevent random incorporation of the PT heterocycles relative to the backbone vector. Two regioregular structures could be obtained: in one the PTs are oriented in the same direction, and in the other the orientation of the PTs alternates every other repeat unit. Compared to their regiorandom counterparts, the regioregular polymers exhibit a 2 orders of magnitude increase of the hole mobilites, from 0.005 to 0.6 cm(2) V(-1) s(-1), as determined by field-effect transistor measurements. 相似文献

The relative sputtering yield of carbon with respect to tantalum was determined for 1 keV Ar+ ion bombardment in the angular range of 70°–82° (measured from surface normal) by means of Auger electron spectroscopy depth profiling of C/Ta and Ta/C bilayers. The ion bombardment‐induced interface broadening was strongly different for the C/Ta and Ta/C, whereas the C/Ta interface was found to be rather sharp, the Ta/C interface was unusually broad. Still the relative sputtering yields (YC/YTa) derived from the Auger electron spectroscopy depth profiles of the two specimens agreed well. The relative sputtering yields obtained were different from those determined earlier on thick layers, calculated by simulation of SRIM2006 and by the fitting equation of Eckstein.
