Fe3O4@Propylsilane@Histidine[HSO4‐] magnetic nanocatalysts: Synthesis,characterization and catalytic application for highly efficient synthesis of xanthene derivatives

The surface of Fe₃O₄ magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) was modified by chloropropylsilane and histidine. The imidazole group of prepared Fe₃O₄@Propylsilane@Histidine MNPs converted to imidazolium hydrogen sulfate group and Fe₃O₄@Propylsilane@Histidine [HSO₄^‐] as a novel environmentally friendly ionic liquid/ magnetite nanoparticle was prepared, successfully. FT‐IR, XRD, SEM and TEM instruments was used to identifiy the histidine ionic liquids/magnetite nanoparticles (HILMNPs). The catalytic activity of synthesized HILMNPs was appraised for the synthesis of 9‐aryl‐1,8‐dioxooctahydroxanthene and spiro[indoline‐3,9′‐xanthene]trione derivatives. The activity of HILMNPs was much better than the other reported heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysts. Furthermore, the prepared catalyst could be separated from the reaction mixture and reused four times without any significant loss in its activity.

Imidazol-1-yl-acetic acid as a novel green bifunctional organocatalyst for the synthesis of 1, 8-dioxooctahydroxanthenes under solvent-free conditions

Imidazol-1-yl-acetic acid is introduced as a new, efficient and recyclable green bifunctional organocatalyst for the synthesis of 1,8-dioxooctahydroxanthenes under solvent-free conditions. This catalyst is water soluble and can be separated from the products by simple filtration. The filtrate can be evaporated to dryness and recrystallized from cool methanol to give the recovered catalyst. This organocatalyst was used for the synthesis of 1,8-dioxooctahydroxanthenes under solvent-flee conditions and recycled up to 8 consecutive runs without any losing of its efficiency.     

A dicationic,podand-like,ionic liquid water system accelerated copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne click reaction

In this work,an effective,task specific,dicationic,podand-like ionic liquid was synthesized and applied to improve the capability features of click reaction.Moreover,to broaden the scope and decreasing the serious limitations of preparation methods of organic azides,a simple green procedure for the preparation of alkyl azides,the fundamental starting materials in click reactions,from alcohols under solvent-free conditions and microwave irradiation has been reported,for the first time.     

An Efficient Synthesis and In Vitro Antibacterial Activity of Novel Spiro‐aminopyrimidones

A highly efficient one‐pot synthesis of some new spiro‐2‐aminopyrimidinones via a three‐component reaction of cyclic ketones, methylcyanoacetate or malononitrile, and guanidinium carbonate has been developed through a domino Knoevenagel/Michael/cyclization sequence. The hydrogen bonding capacity of these compounds would make these structures especially stable. Furthermore, the antibacterial study reveals that these types of compounds exhibit good antibacterial activity.     

A fractional order HIV/AIDS model based on the effect of screening of unaware infectives

In this paper, a fractional order model for the spread of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection is proposed to study the effect of screening of unaware infected individuals on the spread of the HIV virus. For this purpose, local asymptotic stability analysis of the disease‐free equilibrium is investigated. In addition, the model is studied for different values of the fractional order to show the relation between the variations of the reproduction number and the order of the proposed model. Finally, numerical solutions are simulated by using a predictor‐corrector method to illustrate the dynamics between susceptible individuals and unaware infected individuals.
