Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles functionalized with 5,10‐dihydropyrido[2,3‐b]quinoxaline‐7,8‐diol were synthesized as was their complex with copper as a novel nanomagnetic iron oxide catalyst via a simple and green method, and characterized using various techniques. The capability of the catalyst was evaluated in the one‐pot three‐component synthesis of different tetrazoles, which showed very good results. Mild reaction conditions, good reusability and simple magnetic work‐up make this methodology interesting for the efficient synthesis of tetrazoles.  相似文献

In recent years, gold nanoparticles (Au‐NPs) have been taken into consideration in nanomedicine due to their excellent biocompatibility, chemical stability and promising optical properties. In this research, podophyllotoxin conjugated with gold nanoparticles (Au‐NPs‐POT) was synthesized and the conjugation of POT with Au‐NPs was confirmed using scanning electron microscopy, mass spectrometry and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The anticancer effects of the product on preclinical models of lung, colon and breast cancers were investigated using MTT test. The analyses showed a direct dose–response relationship. It was found that higher concentrations of POT have more positive effects on the inhibition of cancer cell growth. At POT concentrations of 1, 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 15 and 20 ng ml?1, approximately 50% of the growth of colorectal, lung and breast cancer cell lines was inhibited, while similar results were obtained in the presence of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 μg ml?1 Au‐NPs‐POT. Au‐NPs‐POT exhibited the lowest cytotoxicity due to the presence of POT. The anticancer feature of Au‐NPs‐POT proved the potential to develop better anticancer therapeutics and to open new avenues for treatment of cancers.  相似文献

A simple and efficient protocol has been developed for the construction of novel 6-oxo-7-aryl-6,7-dihydrochromenopyrano[2,3-b]pyridine derivatives using one-pot, three-component cyclocondensation of 4-hydroxycoumarin, various aromatic aldehydes and 2-aminoprop-1-ene-1,1,3-tricarbonitrile using 10?mol % guanidine hydrochloride as the organocatalyst under solvent-free conditions at 90?°C for the first time. The significant features of this protocol are operational simplicity, provide good to high yields, avoidance of toxic solvents, straightforward work-up, no column chromatographic purification and atom-economy which is considered to be relatively environmentally benign.  相似文献

Casein gels were made from solutions sonicated by 24 and 130 kHz ultrasounds for 0, 60 and 120 min, followed by acidification with glucono-δ-lactone at 30 °C. The dynamics of gel formation were studied using rheological methods and microstructure of gels was monitored using scanning electron microscopy. Sonication postponed the gelation point to a lower pH value and increased the elasticity of freshly formed gels. It also resulted in gels with a more interconnected structure and smaller non-distinguishable particulates. This structure was especially dominant for the gel made from the solution already sonicated for 120 min.  相似文献

We describe a novel magnetic metal-organic framework (MOF) for the preconcentration of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions. The MOF was prepared from the Fe3O4-pyridine conjugate and the copper(II) complex of trimesic acid. The MOF was characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, SEM and XRD. A Box-Behnken design through response surface methodology and experimental design was used to identify the optimal parameters for preconcentration. Extraction time, amount of magnetic MOF and pH value were found to be critical factors for uptake, while type, volume, concentration of eluent, and elution time are critical in the elution step. The ions were then determined by FAAS. The limits of detection are 0.2 and 1.1 μg?L?1 for Cd(II), and Pb(II) ions, respectively, relative standard deviations are <4.5% (for five replicates at 50 μg?L?1 of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions), and the enrichment capacity of the MOF is at around 190 mg?g?1 for both ions which is higher than the conventional Fe3O4-pyridine material. The magnetic MOF was successfully applied to the rapid extraction of trace quantities of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions in fish, sediment, and water samples.

A planar, polycyclic and aromatic hydrocarbon ligand, namely 9,10-phenanthrenequinone semicarbazone, and its transition metal complexes have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The in vitro antiproliferative activity of these compounds against five human cancer cell lines revealed that they were effective against androgen receptor-positive/negative prostate cancer cells as well as COX-positive pancreatic BxPC-3 cancer cell line. The driving force behind such antiproliferative activity seems to be the up-regulated COX expression in these cells, which was amenable for targeting through metal complexation. These structural motifs can, therefore, serve as a starting point for developing novel cytotoxic agents against the growing number of prostate and pancreatic cancers.  相似文献

3-Aminopropylated silica gel, which is prepared from commercially available and cheap starting materials, is introduced as an efficient and recyclable catalyst for the phospha-Michael addition of phosphorus nucleophiles to α,β-unsaturated malonates. Ipomoea carnea Jacq. is an important folklore medicinal plant, assessed for its underexplored biological potential. Antioxidant, cytotoxic, antiproliferative and polyphenolic profile of whole plant was evaluated using various techniques. Maximum extract recovery (29% w/w), phenolic [13.54 ± 0.27 μg GAE/mg dry weight (DW)] and flavonoid (2.11 ± 0.10 μg QE /mg DW) content were recorded in methanol-distilled water (1:1) flower extract. HPLC-DAD analysis quantified substantial amount of six different polyphenols ranging from 0.081 to 37.95 μg/mg extract. Maximum total antioxidant and reducing potential were documented in methanol-distilled water and acetone-distilled water flower extracts (42.62 ± 0.47 and 24.38 ± 0.39 μg AAE/mg DW) respectively. Ethanol-chloroform root extract manifested highest free radical scavenging (IC50 of 61.22 μg/mL) while 94.64% of the extracts showed cytotoxicity against brine shrimps. Ethanol leaf extract exhibited remarkable activity against THP-1 cell line (IC50 = 8 ± 0.05 μg/mL) and protein kinases (31 mm phenotype bald zone).  相似文献
