In order to investigate the long-term effect of the Százhalombatta power plant on the environment of the Csepel-Island subsoil samples were collected in 55 points within 200 km2. Using a microwave-assisted extraction procedure, Be, Ni and V were extracted from the soil samples by aqua regia and the metal concentrations were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The analytical results were evaluated by chemometric methods and interpreted considering the main mineral constituents of the subsoil.  相似文献

The high-energy high-power laser system PHELIX (Petawatt High Energy Laser for heavy Ion eXperiments) [1] is currently under construction at the Gesellschaft fuer Schwerionenforschung mbH (GSI) Darmstadt. With PHELIX GSI will offer the unique combination of a high-current, high-energy (GeV/u) heavy-ion beam with an intense laser beam. This will open the door to a variety of fundamental science issues in the field of atomic physics, plasma physics and nuclear physics. The project will gain further interest in the near future by the dramatic increase of the accelerator performance with the starting FAIR project at GSI [2]. This paper reports the current status of the project as well as the laser architecture. The proposed physics program and a first experiment carried out with PHELIX, the realization of a transient collisionally excited x-ray laser [3], will also be reviewed briefly.  相似文献

Co0.5Zn0.5FeCrO4 is typical of concentrated magnetic oxides which show characteristics of the spin glass phenomena in macroscopic measurements. AC susceptibility shows a broad peak at 147 K, spread over the temperature range from 90 to 170 K. Using Mössbauer spectroscopy, we show that the peak in the AC susceptibility is due to gradual conversion of the magnetic lattice into superparamagnetic clusters as the temperature increases, and spin arrangement at 4.2 K is of Yafet Kittel type.  相似文献

We propose a technique to obtain subwavelength resolution in quantum imaging with potentially 100% contrast using incoherent light. Our method requires neither path-entangled number states nor multiphoton absorption. The scheme makes use of N photons spontaneously emitted by N atoms and registered by N detectors. It is shown that for coincident detection at particular detector positions a resolution of lambda/N can be achieved.  相似文献

We propose a method for generating all symmetric Dicke states, either in the long-lived internal levels of N massive particles or in the polarization degrees of freedom of photonic qubits, using linear optical tools only. By means of a suitable multiphoton detection technique, erasing Welcher-Weg information, our proposed scheme allows the generation and measurement of an important class of entangled multiqubit states.  相似文献

Pressure drop and velocity profile measurements are presented for turbulent flows of drag reducing fluids. The investigation was done in two rough pipes, known as k- and d-type rough pipes. The results are compared with those obtained in hydraulically smooth pipe of identical diameter. The spatial arrangement of the roughness elements in the pipe determines the parallel shift in the elastic sublayer and in the core region of the dimensionless turbulent velocity profile. The slopes of the velocity profiles in these regions remain unaffected by the arrangement which is an indication that the hydrodynamic influence of the roughness is restricted to the near-wall region. The drag reducing surfactant solution exhibited a drag reduction in the smooth as well as in the rough pipes which was higher than that given by Virk's maximum drag reduction asymptote. For this solution no influence of the roughness on the turbulence was detected when the dimensionless roughness height in viscous units was less than 12.  相似文献

The mechanism of enzymatic peptide hydrolysis in matrix metalloproteinase‐2 (MMP‐2) was studied at atomic resolution through quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics (QM/MM) simulations. An all‐atom three‐dimensional molecular model was constructed on the basis of a crystal structure from the Protein Data Bank (ID: 1QIB), and the oligopeptide Ace‐Gln‐Gly~Ile‐Ala‐Gly‐Nme was considered as the substrate. Two QM/MM software packages and several computational protocols were employed to calculate QM/MM energy profiles for a four‐step mechanism involving an initial nucleophilic attack followed by hydrogen bond rearrangement, proton transfer, and C? N bond cleavage. These QM/MM calculations consistently yield rather low overall barriers for the chemical steps, in the range of 5–10 kcal/mol, for diverse QM treatments (PBE0, B3LYP, and BB1K density functionals as well as local coupled cluster treatments) and two MM force fields (CHARMM and AMBER). It, thus, seems likely that product release is the rate‐limiting step in MMP‐2 catalysis. This is supported by an exploration of various release channels through QM/MM reaction path calculations and steered molecular dynamics simulations. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献
