Characterization of low-energy chlorophylls in the PSI-LHCI supercomplex from Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. A site-selective fluorescence study

Almost all photosystem I (PSI) complexes from oxygenic photosynthetic organisms contain chlorophylls that absorb at longer wavelength than that of the primary electron donor P700. We demonstrate here that the low-energy pool of chlorophylls in the PSI-LHCI complex from the green alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, containing five to six pigments, is significantly blue-shifted (A(max) at 700 nm at 4 K) compared to that in the PSI core preparations from several species of cyanobacteria and in PSI-LHCI particles from higher plants. This makes them almost isoenergetic with the primary donor. However, they keep the other characteristic features of "red" chlorophylls: clear spectral separation from the bulk chlorophylls, big Stokes shift revealing pronounced electron-phonon coupling, and large homogeneous and inhomogeneous broadening of approximately 170 and approximately 310 cm(-1), respectively.     

X-ray diffraction and solid-state NMR studies of a germanium binuclear complex

A compound formulated as (C4H12N2)[Ge2(pmida)2(OH)2] x 4 H2O (where pmida(4-) = N-(phosphonomethyl)iminodiacetate and C4H12N2(2+) = piperazinedium cation), containing the anionic [Ge2(pmida)2(OH)2]2- complex, has been synthesised by the hydrothermal approach and its structure determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Several high-resolution solid-state magic-angle spinning (MAS) NMR techniques, in particular two-dimensional 1H-X(13C,31P) heteronuclear correlation (HETCOR) and 1H-1H homonuclear correlation (HOMCOR) experiments incorporating a frequency-switched Lee-Goldburg (FS-LG) decoupling scheme, have been employed for the first time in such a material. Using these tools in tandem affords an excellent general approach to study the structure of other inorganic-organic hybrids. We assigned the NMR resonances with the help of C...H and P...H internuclear distances obtained through systematic statistical analyses of the crystallographic data. The compound was further characterised by powder X-ray diffraction techniques, IR and Raman spectroscopy, and by elemental and thermal analyses (thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry).     

超高效液相色谱-串联质谱法测定茶叶中游离氨基酸成分

建立了使用超高效液相色谱-串联质谱（UHPLC-MS/MS）高效、快速直接测定茶叶中游离氨基酸的方法。通过对质谱、色谱条件及氨基酸提取条件的优化，以含0.2%（体积分数）甲酸的5 mmol/L乙酸铵水溶液和甲醇为流动相进行梯度洗脱，在电喷雾离子（ESI）源正离子扫描模式下检测，通过UHPLC-MS/MS测定，共解析了茶叶中的20种氨基酸。结果表明，茶氨酸（Thea）、Arg、Asn和Asp在50~500 μg/L范围内线性关系良好，其他氨基酸在10~250 μg/L范围内线性关系良好，相关系数均大于0.99；加标回收率为92.3%~109.2%，相对标准偏差为2.00%~9.88%，检出限为0.001~0.011 mg/L，定量限为0.010~0.053 mg/L。该方法灵敏、准确，具有良好的重复性和稳定性，可有效检测出茶叶中的20种氨基酸及氨基类成分。     

氟代二苯乙烯氨基酸的合成及性能

以4-碘-L-苯丙氨酸为初始原料,经羧基和氨基的保护得到化合物2;化合物2与4-氟苯乙烯进行Heck反应得化合物3;化合物3脱去保护基得氟代二苯乙烯氨基酸(4,47.4%);其结构经1H NMR,13C NMR,IR和MS(ESI-TOF)确证。光学性质研究结果表明:4的激发、发射波长分别为314 nm和355 nm,斯托克斯位移为41 nm,荧光量子产率为0.22。化合物4在甲醇溶液中存在光致顺反异构现象,反式→顺式结构转变速率常数为0.026 min^-1。     

M_nP_m~+原子簇结构的ab initio从头算(M=Cr,Mn,n=1～3,m=2～12)

应用ahinitio计算程序，我们对飞行时间质谱产生的谱图进行了理论分析。稳定的MnnPm+和CrnPm+的结构基本上是多面体，仅有少数结构为环状和平面的。在计算中，我们尚未发现有链状的簇合物，这与风簇绝大多数是多面体是相一致的。因此，单枚金属簇合物的形成机制很大可能是金属进入磷形成的笼簇中。一般地说，除了磷的个别笼状团簇外，金属和磷相互成键是普遍存在的；在二核、多核金属磷簇合物中，金属间相互作用不常见，绝大多数是通过桥磷相连的。     

Structural basis for discriminative regulation of gene expression by adenine- and guanine-sensing mRNAs

Metabolite-sensing mRNAs, or "riboswitches," specifically interact with small ligands and direct expression of the genes involved in their metabolism. Riboswitches contain sensing "aptamer" modules, capable of ligand-induced structural changes, and downstream regions, harboring expression-controlling elements. We report the crystal structures of the add A-riboswitch and xpt G-riboswitch aptamer modules that distinguish between bound adenine and guanine with exquisite specificity and modulate expression of two different sets of genes. The riboswitches form tuning fork-like architectures, in which the prongs are held in parallel through hairpin loop interactions, and the internal bubble zippers up to form the purine binding pocket. The bound purines are held by hydrogen bonding interactions involving conserved nucleotides along their entire periphery. Recognition specificity is associated with Watson-Crick pairing of the encapsulated adenine and guanine ligands with uridine and cytosine, respectively.     

2，4-二羟甲基四氢吡咯衍生物的合成及对烯烃环氧化反应的诱导

用手性的丙烯酸薄荷醇酯与原位生成的1，3-偶极试剂发生Diels-Alder反应， 得到一系列新的手性2，4-二酯基四氢吡咯衍生物，经氢化铝锂还原得到纯的手性 2，4-二羟甲基吡咯衍生物。并首次发现，在用Oxone氧化烯时，2，4-二羟甲基四 氢吡咯衍生物能有效地诱导烯烃发生环氧化反应，转化率达到定量。     

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Glycin·3,5-Dihydroxybenzoic Acid

The title compound glycin·3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid (GDB) has been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray analysis. It crystallizes in orthorhombic, space group Pca21 with a = 25.513(10), b = 4.668(2), c = 9.150(4)(A), Z = 4, V = 1089.8(8)(A)3, C9H13NO7, Mr = 247.20, Dc = 1.507 g/m3, μ(MoKα) = 0.132 mm-1, F(000) = 520, R1 = 0.0322 and wR2 = 0.0611 for 885 observed reflections (I > 2σ(I)). The title compound is a 1:1 molecular complex of glycin and 3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid, which is linked by O-H…O and N-H…O hydrogen bonds to form a three-dimensional framework. Test of SHG (second harmonic generation) indicates that NLO generation of the crystal is higher than that of KDP.     

白藜芦醇的电化学行为及其与DNA的相互作用

采用电化学方法研究了白藜芦醇在pH=2~13的缓冲溶液中的电化学行为、抗氧化能力及其与DNA的相互作用. 研究结果表明， 在2.011的溶液中, 白藜芦醇产生的P4和P5波分别是其二价和三价阴离子的还原波. 在最佳实验条件下, 微分脉冲极谱图上IP3在8.0×10-8~2.0×10-6 mol/L范围内与白藜芦醇的浓度呈线性关系, 检出限为4×10-8 mol/L. 将该法用于中药虎杖中白藜芦醇含量的测定, 结果与高效液相色谱法一致.     

A New Diterpene Acid from the Flowers of Heteropappus altaicus

A new compound, named heteraltaic acid was isolated from the flowers of Heteropappus altaicus (willd) Novopokr. The compound was elucidated as (5R, 6S, 8aS) -5-[2-(3-furyl) ethyl-5, 6, 8a-trimethyl-4a, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8a -hexahydro-l-naphthalenecarboxylic acid] by the combination of 1D and 2D NMR techniques (HSQC, HMBC) and X-ray analysis.
