The 1:1 equisized hard-sphere electrolyte or restricted primitive model has been simulated via grand-canonical fine-discretization Monte Carlo. Newly devised unbiased finite-size extrapolation methods using loci in the temperature-density or (T,rho) plane of isothermal rho(2-k) vs pressure inflections, of Q identical with(2)/ maxima, and of canonical and C(V) criticality, yield estimates of (T(c),rho(c)) to +/-(0.04,3)%. Extrapolated exponents and Q ratio are (gamma,nu,Q(c)) = [1.24(3), 0.63(3); 0.624(2)], which support Ising (n = 1) behavior with (1.23(9), 0.630(3); 0.623(6)), but exclude classical, XY (n = 2), self-avoiding walk (n = 0), and n = 1 criticality with potentials varphi(r)>Phi/r(4.9) when r-->infinity.  相似文献

Electron beams with the lowest, normalized transverse emittance recorded so far were produced and confirmed in single-bunch-mode operation of the Accelerator Test Facility at KEK. We established a tuning method of the damping ring which achieves a small vertical dispersion and small x-y orbit coupling. The vertical emittance was less than 1% of the horizontal emittance. At the zero-intensity limit, the vertical normalized emittance was less than 2.8 x 10(-8) rad m at beam energy 1.3 GeV. At high intensity, strong effects of intrabeam scattering were observed, which had been expected in view of the extremely high particle density due to the small transverse emittance.  相似文献

We present charged-particle multiplicities as a function of pseudorapidity and collision centrality for the 197Au+197Au reaction at square root[s(NN)] = 200 GeV. For the 5% most central events we obtain dN(ch)/deta/(eta = 0) = 625+/-55 and N(ch)/(-4.7< or =eta < or =4.7) = 4630 +/- 370, i.e., 14% and 21% increases, respectively, relative to square root[s(NN)] = 130 GeV collisions. Charged-particle production per pair of participant nucleons is found to increase from peripheral to central collisions around midrapidity. These results constrain current models of particle production at the highest RHIC energy.  相似文献

Columnar microstructure in step-graded Si(1-x)Ge(x)/Si(001) structures with low threading dislocation densities has been determined using high angular resolution (approximately 0.005 degrees ) x-ray microdiffraction. X-ray rocking curves of a 3-microm-thick strain-relaxed Si(0.83)Ge(0.17) film show many sharp peaks and can be simulated with a model having a set of Gaussians having narrow angular widths (0.013 degrees -0.02 degrees ) and local ranges of tilt angles varying from 0.05 degrees to 0.2 degrees. These peaks correspond to individual tilted rectangular columnar micrograins having similar (001) lattice spacings and average areas of 0.8 to 2.0 microm(2).  相似文献

The contrast of interference pattern formed by two circularly polarized waves and by a linearly polarized wave and a circularly polarized one is discussed. The results are compared with that by two linear beams. It shows that the use of circular light in holographic fabrication of three-dimensional periodic microstructures may remove the necessity of beam ratio and polarization optimization needed in the interference of three linear noncoplanar beams and improve the uniform contrast of resultant pattern simultaneously.  相似文献

许多实验对用CsI(Tl)闪烁晶体作为探测器来寻找和探测暗物质的可行性进行了研究.本工作利用8MeV单能中子轰击CsI(Tl)晶体探测器来研究Cs核和I核的QuenchingFactor.在数据处理中,运用脉冲形状甄别(PSD)方法来分辨反冲核信号和本底信号.实验结果表明,在7keV到132keV的能区中,Quench ingFactor随着反冲核能量的减少而增加.在探测暗物质的实验中,这一性质对于CsI(Tl)晶体探测器获得较低的能量阈值是很有利的.  相似文献

本文采用显微拉曼光谱实验的方法对红外目标模拟器中的重掺杂Si电阻微桥单元进行了绝对温度的测量 ,并根据斯托克斯与反斯托克斯强度与温度关系以及Raman峰位移动与温度依赖关系两种方法确定温度 ,保证了所测温度的可靠性。针对Si桥建立相应的Raman模型 ,选择合适的物理参数 ,最终得到了反映Si桥工作特性的电流 -温度关系。此外 ,通过对Si桥的空间分辨的测量实验 ,得到了Si桥上的温度分布状况 ,对了解其电阻、热导及氧化等特性十分有用。所有结果表明该方法是器件优化的有效途径。  相似文献

Efficient quenching of eosin phosphorescence by amino-acid derivatives of fullerene (AADFs) such as C60-alanine and C60-glycine in aqueous solutions indicates the possibility of transferring electrons from eosin to fullerene upon collisions or in the exciplex state. To investigate electron transfer in the protein structure, we studied the process of incorporation of C60-alanine and C60-glycine into the heme pocket of myoglobin by controlling Förster quenching. The dissociation constant for the protein-AADF complex was estimated.  相似文献

Derivation of the elementary Fowler-Nordheim equation is based on several strong physical assumptions (e.g. smooth flat surface and uniform work function across emitting surface, constant emission area and a uniform distribution of the applied field over it). A real emitter, however, definitely does not fulfill these assumptions. In spite of it the total emission current follows the FN equation and is frequently used for an estimation of the "average" work-function. The physical basis of this procedure and of the terms "average" work function and "emission area" are analyzed from the experimentalist's point of view. Thus some of the older - more or less intuitive - conclusions are substantiated.  相似文献

Uniform gold nanowires were synthesized by electrodepositing the gold under a very low ac frequency in the pores of an anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) template. The surface of the Au/AAO composite is very even and appeared purplish red. Atomic force microscopy observation indicates that the template membranes we obtained have hexagonally close-packed nanochannels. The gold nanowire array is very orderly arranged after partially dissolving the aluminum oxide membrane. Gold nanowires were also characterized by transmission electron microscopy and the phase structure of the Au/AAO composite was proved by X-ray diffraction.
