4‐Chloro‐5‐(2‐phenoxyethoxy)phthalonitrile, C16H11ClN2O2, (I), and 4‐chloro‐5‐[2‐(pentafluorophenoxy)ethoxy]phthalonitrile, C16H6ClF5N2O2, (II), show different types of electrostatic interaction. In (I), the phenoxy and phthalonitrile (benzene‐1,2‐dicarbonitrile) moieties are well separated in an open conformation and intermolecular C—H...π interactions are observed in the crystal packing. On the other hand, in (II), the pentafluorophenoxy moiety interacts closely with the Cl atom to form a folded conformation containing an intramolecular halogen–π interaction.  相似文献

Planning a cost‐efficient monitoring policy of stochastic processes arises from many industrial problems. We formulate a simple discrete‐time monitoring problem of continuous‐time stochastic processes with its applications to several industrial problems. A key in our model is a doubling trick of the variables, with which we can construct an algorithm to solve the problem. The cost‐efficient monitoring policy balancing between the observation cost and information loss is governed by an optimality equation of a fixed point type, which is solvable with an iterative algorithm based on the Feynman‐Kac formula. This is a new linkage between monitoring problems and mathematical sciences. We show regularity results of the optimization problem and present a numerical algorithm for its approximation. A problem having model ambiguity is presented as well. The presented model is applied to problems of environment, ecology, and energy, having qualitatively different target stochastic processes with each other.  相似文献

The reflection measurements of superionic conductors LiCoO2 and Li1-xCoO2, which are already in use for the positive electrode material of 4 V rechargeable lithium batteries, have been performed in the millimeter wave region from 6 to 60 cm−1 using the electron storage ring facilities of Institute of Molecular Science in Okazaki. The increase of the reflectivity has been observed in the low wavenumber region below 10 cm-1 above 300 K in Li1-xCoO2 for the first time, while the reflectivity of LiCoO2 has almost the constant value in all observed temperature region between 77 to 380 K. The results will be discussed in connection with our previous results of LiNiO2.  相似文献

The giant quantum attenuation of ultrasound in bismuth and other semimetals is noticeably enhanced when certain pair of Landau subbands of electrons and holes participate simultaneously in an attenuation peak. A theoretical analysis is presented which emphasizes importance of dynamical effects of the electron-hole correlation. In the temperature range between 1 K and 4 K covered by most experiments, the correlation effect is found to be weak on the real part of the relevant response function which gives changes in sound velocity. This implies that equilibrium properties of the system are not much influenced by the correlation effect. Nonetheless, the electron-hole correlation is shown to have a drastic consequence on the imaginary part of the response function probed by the ultrasonic attenuation. Proposal for experiment is advanced to discriminate relative importance of this exciton-like correlation from that of republsive correlation between carriers with the same charge.  相似文献

A freeze-dried cellulose acetate membrane fine structure was observed with an ultrathin sectioning electron microscope. The fine structure for the top surface in this membrane could be seen by lead citrate staining ultrathin sectioning. This network structure was observed among pores, which existed in porous substrate. The pore diameter in the top surface was about 50 Å, a value that agrees approximately with the value estimated by gas permeation.  相似文献

We report the observations of a new type of changing process in the Burgers vector of dislocations by in situ transmission electron microscopy. Small interstitial-type perfect dislocation loops in bcc iron with diameters less than approximately 50 nm are transformed from a 1/2<111> loop to another 1/2<111> one or an energetically unfavorable <100> one; furthermore, a <100> loop is transformed to a 1/2<111> one. These transformations occurred on high-energy electron irradiation or simple heating without contact with external dislocations. The origin of these phenomena is discussed.  相似文献

Raman spectroscopy was used for rapid in-situ measurement of alcohols in ethanol-methanol-water ternary systems. Mass fractions of the individual components were determined using calibration curves for binary systems of ethanol-water, methanol-water, and ethanol-methanol. Calibration curves were constructed by calculating the ratio of the Raman peak intensity of a component and that of an external standard (acetonitrile). Assuming additivity of the spectra, simultaneous equations were written, and mass fractions of ethanol, methanol, and water in the ternary solutions were determined by solving the system of equations through calculating an inverse matrix. The relative errors between the mass fractions obtained from the Raman spectra and those obtained from mass measurements were <0.6%.  相似文献

As density is one of the basic physical properties of materials, an accurate density standard is absolutely essential. To determine density with high accuracy and precision, two 1-kg single-crystal silicon spheres (NMIJ-S4 and NMIJ-S5) are used as the primary standard at the National Metrology Institute of Japan. For the accurate measurement of the mass and volume of the silicon spheres, the effects of the surface layer must be carefully considered. In this work, a surface layer model of NMIJ-S4 and NMIJ-S5 was proposed and the thicknesses of each surface layer were determined using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. A detailed uncertainty budget is presented to aid use of the density standard.  相似文献
