Elastic constants and bulk modulus for the tetragonal, rhombohedral, and cubic phase of Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 crystal were calculated from the first principles. From the calculated elastic constants, other structural properties such as bulk modulus, shear modulus, Young's modulus, and Poisson's ratio can be derived using respective relationships from Voight–Reuss–Hill approximation; bulk modulus was calculated as an example in this article. It was shown that elastic constants show different behavior for compression and elongation. The different values of elastic constants have been calculated for the direction parallel to the bismuth layer (crystallographic a(b)-axis) and the perpendicular direction (crystallographic c-axis). It seems to be caused by bismuth layer structure oxides of Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 crystal.  相似文献

We demonstrate the existence of Bloch oscillations of acoustic fields in sound propagation through a superlattice of water cavities and layers of methyl methacrylate. To obtain the acoustic equivalent of a Wannier-Stark ladder, we employ a set of cavities with different thicknesses. Bloch oscillations are observed as time-resolved oscillations of transmission in a direct analogy to electronic Bloch oscillations in biased semiconductor superlattices. Moreover, for a particular gradient of cavity thicknesses, an overlap of two acoustic minibands occurs, which results in resonant Zener-like transmission enhancement.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with the critical problems in residue arithmetic. The reverse conversion from a Residue Number System (RNS) to positional notation is a main non-modular operation, and it constitutes a basis of other non-modular procedures used to implement various computational algorithms. We present a novel approach to the parallel reverse conversion from the residue code into a weighted number representation in the Mixed-Radix System (MRS). In our proposed method, the calculation of mixed-radix digits reduces to a parallel summation of the small word-length residues in the independent modular channels corresponding to the primary RNS moduli. The computational complexity of the developed method concerning both required modular addition operations and one-input lookup tables is estimated as Ok2/2, where k equals the number of used moduli. The time complexity is Olog2k modular clock cycles. In pipeline mode, the throughput rate of the proposed algorithm is one reverse conversion in one modular clock cycle.  相似文献

Abstract

Phenomenon of ferromagnetic ordering was for a long time associated exclusively with transition metal and rare-earth compounds. Nowadays this view is challenged by growing evidence that in molecular carbon-based systems the ferromagnetic alignment of spins can be observed as well. We have developed a microscopical model of a fulleride electronic subsystem taking into account triple orbital degeneracy of energy states within the configurational-operator approach. Using the Green function method the energy spectrum of the model has been calculated. Conditions for the ferromagnetic state stabilization have been determined. Static electrical conductivity and effective masses of current carriers in the system with orbitally degenerated energy band have been obtained. In the ground state and for low temperatures at different forms of unperturbed density of electronic states the concentration dependences of transport characteristics for less-then-half-filled lower quasiparticle subband have been calculated.  相似文献

We further improve our methodology for solving irregular packing and cutting problems. We deal with an accurate representation of objects bounded by circular arcs and line segments and allow their continuous rotations and translations within rectangular and circular containers. We formulate a basic irregular placement problem which covers a wide spectrum of packing and cutting problems. We provide an exact non-linear programming (NLP) model of the problem, employing ready-to-use phi-functions. We develop an efficient solution algorithm to search for local optimal solutions for the problem in a reasonable time. The algorithm reduces our problem to a sequence of NLP subproblems and employs optimization procedures to generate starting feasible points and feasible subregions. Our algorithm allows us to considerably reduce the number of inequalities in NLP subproblems. To show the benefits of our methodology we give computational results for a number of new challenger and the best known benchmark instances.  相似文献

Supramolecular organised materials were prepared from nonionic surfactants and the following macrocyclic ionic liquids: n-tert-butylthiacalix[4]arenes containing quaternary ammonium fragments with amino acid substituents. Tetraethylene glycol monododecyl ether and decadiethylene glycol monododecyl ether were used as nonionic surfactants. They form lamellar and hexagonal mesophases in aqueous media, respectively. Liquid crystal and structural properties of these systems were studied. Intermolecular interactions of system components leading to formation of lyomesophases were estimated. Molecular structure of thiacalixarene contributes to the formation of a hydrogen bonding with surfactants. This process, in turn, initiates formation of a denser packed hexagonal structure.  相似文献

Hydroxy‐mediated methoxy formation or stabilization is probably an important process in many methanol adsorption systems. Hydrogen atoms originating from the scission of the methanol O? H bond react with the substrate and form water. This process may result 1) in the production of additional surface defects as reactive centers for methoxy formation and 2) in the stabilization of methoxy groups by suppression of methanol formation.

Catalytic oxidation of methanol (MeOH) in the absence of noble metals and noble metal oxides as catalysts, and the use of metal-free materials are inexpensive and attractive process for practical use in electrocatalysis, sensors, and in direct methanol fuel cells. In previous works, it was found that the use of single-walled (SWCNT) or multi-walled (MWCNT) carbon nanotube paper electrodes instead of GC increases the catalytic efficiency of organic compounds oxidation in the presence of aromatic di-N-oxides by several times. In this work, the effect of non-covalent interactions on the catalytic efficiency of MeOH oxidation in the presence of 2,5-di-Me-pyrazine-di-N-oxide (Pyr1) in 0.1 M Bu4NClO4 solution in acetonitrile at SWCNT and MWСNT paper electrodes was studied by the methods of quantum chemical modeling, Raman spectroscopy, and using electrochemical data. New factors determined the features of mechanism of MeOH oxidation on CNT electrodes and lead to an increase in the catalytic efficiency of the electrode process in comparison with the GC electrode were established.  相似文献

A sol–gel based hybrid process was developed by manipulating different techniques in sol–gel process to synthesize γ-alumina and (CuO, CuO + ZnO) doped γ-alumina spherical particles. Catalysts having spherical geometry have an important advantage over powders or pellets which are impervious to fluids, when packed in a reactor. Boehmite sol was used as alumina precursor for synthesizing porous γ-alumina and doped materials. γ-alumina particles having 5 wt% CuO, 4 wt% CuO + 1 wt% ZnO, 3 wt% CuO + 2 wt% ZnO and 2 wt% CuO + 3 wt% ZnO were prepared by adding required amounts of Cu(NO3)2 and Zn(NO3)2 solutions prior to gelation of the sol. Methanol dehydration studies were carried out by employing these synthesized catalysts. Hundred percent conversion of methanol to dimethyl ether was observed with (4 wt% CuO + 1 wt% ZnO)-γ-alumina and (5 wt% CuO)-γ-alumina microspheres at 325 and 350 °C, respectively.  相似文献
