The oxidation processes of white wines can occur during storage and commercialization due to several factors, and these can negatively affect the color, aroma, and quality of the wine. Wineries should have faster and simpler methods that provide valuable information on oxidation stability of wines and allow fast decision-making procedures, able to trigger suitable technological interventions. Using a portable prototype instrument for light irradiations at different wavelengths and times was considered and evaluated on sensorial, spectrophotometric, and colorimetric parameters of white wines. The sensorial analysis revealed that white and light blue were the most significant, after only 1 h of irradiation. The experimental results showed that hydrogen peroxide could enhance the effect of light treatment, allowing a contemporary evaluation of the oxidation stability of wine against light and chemical stresses. As expected, a good correlation (R2 > 0.89) between optical density at 420 nm and b* parameter was highlighted. The synergic effect of light and H2O2 was also studied on the hydrolyzable and condensed tannins’ additions to white wine. The proposed methodology could be used to evaluate the oxidative stability of white wines, but also to evaluate the effect of some oenological adjuvants on wine stability.  相似文献

Two new calcium nitridomanganates, Ca12[Mn19N23] (P3, a=11.81341(3) Å, c=5.58975(2) Å, Z=1) and Ca133[Mn216N260] ( , a=39.477(1) Å, c=5.5974(2) Å, Z=1), were obtained by a gas–solid reaction of Ca3N2 and Mn with N2 at 1273 K and 1223 K, respectively. The crystal structure of Ca12[Mn19N23] was determined from high‐resolution X‐ray synchrotron powder diffraction data, whereas single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction was employed to establish the crystal structure of the Ca133[Mn216N260] phase, which classifies as a complex metallic alloy (CMA). Both crystal structures have 2D nitridomanganate layers containing similar building blocks but of different levels of structural complexity. Bonding analysis as well as magnetic susceptibility and electron spin resonance measurements revealed that only a fraction of the Mn atoms in both structures carries a localized magnetic moment, while for most Mn species the magnetism is quenched as a result of metal–metal bond formation.  相似文献

We suggest here a least-change correction to available finite element (FE) solution. This postprocessing procedure is aimed at recovering the monotonicity and some other important properties that may not be exhibited by the FE solution. Although our approach is presented for FEs, it admits natural extension to other numerical schemes, such as finite differences and finite volumes. For the postprocessing, a priori information about the monotonicity is assumed to be available, either for the whole domain or for a subdomain where the lost monotonicity is to be recovered. The obvious requirement is that such information is to be obtained without involving the exact solution, e.g. from expected symmetries of this solution.The postprocessing is based on solving a monotonic regression problem with some extra constraints. One of them is a linear equality-type constraint that models the conservativity requirement. The other ones are box-type constraints, and they originate from the discrete maximum principle. The resulting postprocessing problem is a large scale quadratic optimization problem. It is proved that the postprocessed FE solution preserves the accuracy of the discrete FE approximation.We introduce an algorithm for solving the postprocessing problem. It can be viewed as a dual ascent method based on the Lagrangian relaxation of the equality constraint. We justify theoretically its correctness. Its efficiency is demonstrated by the presented results of numerical experiments.  相似文献

We study experimentally the impact of a plastic bead on a rotating wall made of steel (velocity Ω; radial position x0). The results show that the restitution coefficient is directly function of the impact velocity x0Ω and is invariant by changing frame reference. The influence of the height of release of the particle on its angular velocity after impact is also studied. We observe an increase of the angular velocity with height followed by a saturation. We propose an interpretation for this evolution considering that the particle may roll without sliding during all the impact. For gasless combustion in a one-dimensional solid, we show a type of nonlinear stability of the physical combustion front: if a perturbation of the front is small in both a spatially uniform norm and an exponentially weighted norm, then the perturbation stays small in the spatially uniform norm and decays in the exponentially weighted norm, provided the linearized operator has no eigenvalues in the right half-plane other than zero. Using the Evans function, we show that the zero eigenvalue must be simple. Factors that complicate the analysis are: (1) the linearized operator is not sectorial, and (2) the linearized operator has good spectral properties only when the weighted norm is used, but then the nonlinear term is not Lipschitz. The result is nevertheless physically natural. To prove it, we first show that when the weighted norm is used, the semigroup generated by the linearized operator decays on a subspace complementary to the operator’s kernel, by showing that it is a compact perturbation of the semigroup generated by a more easily analyzed triangular operator. We then use this result to help establish that solutions stay small in the spatially uniform norm, which in turn helps establish nonlinear convergence in the weighted norm.  相似文献

We study the conformations of isolated trifunctional ampholytic dendrimers in solutions. For the previously homo-dendrimer case studied in the literature, we discuss the issues of density profiles, the existence of a cavity, backfolding, bond stretching and scaling laws for the dendrimer size across the good-to-poor solvent transition. We then consider the effect of introducing monomer charges in the outermost generation opposite to those in the interior generations in an electrically neutral overall ampholytic co-dendrimer.  相似文献

The normal mode instability study of a steady Rossby‐Haurwitz wave is considered both theoretically and numerically. This wave is exact solution of the nonlinear barotropic vorticity equation describing the dynamics of an ideal fluid on a rotating sphere, as well as the large‐scale barotropic dynamics of the atmosphere. In this connection, the stability of the Rossby‐Haurwitz wave is of considerable mathematical and meteorological interest. The structure of the spectrum of the linearized operator in case of an ideal fluid is studied. A conservation law for perturbations to the Rossby‐Haurwitz wave is obtained and used to get a necessary condition for its exponential instability. The maximum growth rate of unstable modes is estimated. The orthogonality of the amplitude of a non‐neutral or non‐stationary mode to the Rossby‐Haurwitz wave is shown in two different inner products. The analytical results obtained are used to test and discuss the accuracy of a numerical spectral method used for the normal mode stability study of arbitrary flow on a sphere. The comparison of the numerical and theoretical results shows that the numerical instability study method works well in case of such smooth solutions as the zonal flows and Rossby‐Haurwitz waves. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
