通过第一性原理对平面内双轴应力作用下的单层黑磷能带结构进行了计算.双轴拉伸应力作用下单层黑磷始终保持直接带隙性质,双轴压缩应力作用下的单层黑磷则发生了直接带隙转变为间接带隙的现象,当双轴压缩应力增加到7%时单层黑磷带隙闭合.     

On the Variability of Heart Rate Variability—Evidence from Prospective Study of Healthy Young College Students

Heart rate variability (HRV) has been widely used as indices for autonomic regulation, including linear analyses, entropy and multi-scale entropy based nonlinear analyses, and however, it is strongly influenced by the conditions under which the signal is being recorded. To investigate the variability of healthy HRV under different settings, we recorded electrocardiograph (ECG) signals from 56 healthy young college students (20 h for each participant) at campus using wearable single-lead ECG device. Accurate R peak to R peak (RR) intervals were extracted by combing the advantages of five commonly used R-peak detection algorithms to eliminate data quality influence. Thorough and detailed linear and nonlinear HRV analyses were performed. Variability of HRV metrics were evaluated from five categories: (1) different states of daily activities; (2) different recording time period in the same day during free-running daily activities; (3) body postures of sitting and lying; (4) lying on the left, right and back; and (5) gender influence. For most of the analyzed HRV metrics, significant differences (p < 0.05) were found among different recording conditions within the five categories except lying on different positions. Results suggested that the standardization of ECG data collection and HRV analysis should be implemented in HRV related studies, especially for entropy and multi-scale entropy based analyses. Furthermore, this preliminary study provides reference values of HRV indices under various recording conditions of healthy young subjects that could be useful information for different applications (e.g., health monitoring and management).     

CaPtAs: A new noncentrosymmetric superconductor

We report the discovery of a new noncentrosymmetric superconductor CaPtAs.It crystallizes in a tetragonal structure(space group I41md,No.109),featuring three dimensional honeycomb networks of Pt-As and a much elongated c-axis(a=b=4.18?,and c=43.70?).The superconductivity of CaPtAs with Tc=1.47 K was characterized by means of electrical resistivity,specific heat,and ac magnetic susceptibility.The electronic specific heat Ce(T)/T shows evidence for a deviation from the behavior of a conventional BCS superconductor,and can be reasonably fitted by a p-wave model.The upper critical fieldμ0Hc2 of CaPtAs exhibits a moderate anisotropy,with an in-plane value of around 204 mT and an out-of-plane value of 148 mT.Density functional theory calculations indicate that the Pt-5 d and As-4 p orbitals mainly contribute to the density of states near the Fermi level,showing that the Pt-As honeycomb networks may significantly influence the superconducting properties.     

光锥与TDI-CCD耦合监控中测试目标的一种实现方法

为了给光锥与时间延迟积分电荷耦合器件耦合监控装置提供有效的被测运动条纹,分析了传统推扫成像实验装置的不足之处,设计了电子显示目标滚屏运动装置.采用光学相机对印刷条纹静止成像,并用TDI-CCD数字相机对监视器屏幕上的运动条纹动态成像.实验结果表明,该方案解决了高分辨率的鉴别率图样无法在监视器或投影仪上精确显示的困难.与传统的实验室模拟装置相比,该方案提高了鉴别率条纹的运动稳定性,减小了条纹运动速率与TDI-CCD扫描行频间的失配误差,不仅能够对耦合过程实施监控,而且还能用于耦合系统的像质评价.

Separation and purification of isoflavones from Pueraria lobata by high-speed counter-current chromatography.

High-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC) was applied to the semipreparative separation and purification of puerarin and related isoflavones from a crude extract of Pueraria lobata. Analytical HSCCC was used for the preliminary selection of a suitable solvent system composed of ethyl acetate-n-butanol-water (2:1:3, v/v/v). Using the above solvent system the preparative HSCCC was successfully performed yielding six relatively pure isoflavones including puerarin from 80 mg of the crude extract in one-step separation.

Surface properties and doxorubicin delivery in mixed systems comprising a natural rosin-based ester tertiary amine and an anionic surfactant

A rosin-based ester tertiary amine salt (RETAS) cationic surfactant was obtained using natural rosin as raw material. GC-MS of RETAS was detailed analyzed. The pH-responsive mechanism of rosin-based ester tertiary amine (RETA) and RETAS was confirmed by applying theoretical calculations about electrostatic potential maps of RETA and RETAS cation using Gaussian software. Mixed system surfactants were obtained by blending RETAS cationic surfactant with sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS) anionic surfactant. The binary mixed surfactant systems of RETAS and SDBS had obvious synergistic effect. The γ_cmc and CMC were 39.40?mN/m and 0.56?mmol/L at the optimum molar fraction of RETAS (α)?=?0.6, respectively. The stability time of emulsion with the optimum mixed system as emulsifier increased to 309?s at α?=?0.6. The emulsifying capacity of RETAS was much better than that of RETA. RETAS had pH-responsive targeted release and the optimum mixed system showed a relatively sustained drug release by using doxorubicin (DOX) as a model drug. These results indicate that RETAS surfactant and mixed system surfactant are both promising for applications in drug delivery and emulsification.
