Generalized G-KKM Theorems in Generalized Convex Spaces and Their Applications

Some new generalized G-KKM and generalized S-KKM theorems are proved under the noncompact setting of generalized convex spaces. As applications, some new minimax inequalities, saddle point theorems, a coincidence theorem, and a fixed point theorem are given in generalized convex spaces. These theorems improve and generalize many important known results in recent literature.

Local superconvergence of the derivative for tensor‐product block FEM

In this article, we shall discuss local superconvergence of the derivative for tensor‐product block finite elements over uniform partition for three‐dimensional Poisson's equation on the basis of Liu and Zhu (Numer Methods Partial Differential Eq 25 (2009) 999–1008). Assume that odd m ≥ 3, x₀ is an inner locally symmetric point of uniform rectangular partition \begin{align*}\mathcal{T}_{h}\end{align*} and ρ(x₀,?Ω) means the distance between x₀ and boundary ?Ω. Combining the symmetry technique (Wahlbin, Springer, 1995; Schatz, Sloan, and Wahlbin, SIAM J Numer Anal 33 (1996), 505–521; Schatz, Math Comput 67 (1998), 877–899) with weak estimates for tensor‐product block finite elements of degree m ≥ 3 [see Liu and Zhu, Numer Methods Partial Differential Eq 25 (2009) 999–1008] and the finite element theory of Green function in ??³ presented in this article, we propose the \begin{align*}O(h^{m+3}|\ln h|^{\frac{4}{3}}+h^{2m+2}|\ln h|^{\frac{4}{3}}\rho(x_{0},\partial\Omega)^{-m})\end{align*} convergence of the derivatives for tensor‐product block finite elements of degree m ≥ 3 on x₀. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Asymptotic Properties of the Maximum Likelihood Estimate in Generalized Linear Models with Stochastic Regressors

For generalized linear models （GLM）, in case the regressors are stochastic and have different distributions, the asymptotic properties of the maximum likelihood estimate （MLE） β^n of the parameters are studied. Under reasonable conditions, we prove the weak, strong consistency and asymptotic normality of β^n     

LOW ORDER NONCONFORMING RECTANGULAR FINITE ELEMENT METHODS FOR DARCY-STOKES PROBLEMS

In this paper, we consider lower order rectangular finite element methods for the singularly perturbed Stokes problem. The model problem reduces to a linear Stokes problem when the perturbation parameter is large and degenerates to a mixed formulation of Poisson＇s equation as the perturbation parameter tends to zero. We propose two 2D and two 3D nonconforming rectangular finite elements, and derive robust discretization error estimates. Numerical experiments are carried out to verify the theoretical results.     

Constructions of External Difference Families and Disjoint Difference Families

External difference families (EDFs) are a type of new combinatorial designs originated from cryptography. In this paper, some earlier ideas of recursive and cyclotomic constructions of combinatorial designs are extended, and a number of classes of EDFs and disjoint difference families are presented. A link between a subclass of EDFs and a special type of (almost) difference sets is set up.     

Robin Boundary Value Problem for One-Dimensional Landau–Lifshitz Equations

In this paper, we are concerned with the existence and uniqueness of global smooth solution for the Robin boundary value problem of Landau-Lifshitz equations in one dimension when the boundary value depends on time t. Furthermore, by viscosity vanishing approach, we get the existence and uniqueness of the problem without Gilbert damping term when the boundary value is independent of t.     

超线性与二次收敛序列线性方程组算法

本文,在无严格互补条件下,对非线性不等式约束最优化问题提出了一个新的序列线性方程组(简称SSLE)算法．算法有两个重要特征:首先,每次迭代,只须求解一个线性方程组或一个广义梯度投影阵,且线性方程组可以无解．其次,初始点可以任意选取．在无严格互补条件下,算法仍有全局收敛性、强收敛性、超线性收敛性及二次收敛性．文章的最后,还对算法进行了初步的数值实验．
