The temperature dependences of the molar heat capacity at constant pressure, Cp, of Pb5(Ge1?xSix)3O11 crystals with x=0, 0.39, and 0.45 in the range 5–300 K, as well as of their permittivity, dielectric losses, and the pyroelectric effect, have been measured. Experimental data on the temperature behavior of the heat capacity are presented in the form of a sum of two Debye and one Einstein terms, Cp(T)=0.405CD1(ΘD1=160 K, T)+0.53CD2(ΘD2=750 K, T)+0.046CE(ΘE=47 K, T). Besides a peak in the region of the ferroelectric Curie point Tc=450 K for crystals with x=0, the temperature dependences of the heat capacity did not reveal any other pronounced anomalies. 相似文献

Experimental data on magnetization of the antiferromagnetic (AFM) polycrystalline samples in the temperature range of 20-300 K, for pressures of 2 kbar and in magnetic field of 300 kOe, are presented in the paper. In the fields of 250 kOe, the magnetization curve demonstrates a jump explained by exchange-interaction sign change. In the region of 50-70 kOe, on the differential susceptibility versus magnetic field curve, there is a break of the 2nd order corresponding to the anomalous behavior of the magnetization. The obtained results were processed on the basis of the phenomenological Landau theory. It is shown that the ferromagnetic vector occurrence is forced during the formation of AFM spiral structure. The behavior of thermodynamic potential factors has been determined. Three more anomalies have been revealed and explained by a jump-like magnetization change of the Co-subsystem. 相似文献

The temperature dependences of the heat capacity, the magnetic susceptibility, and the splitting of the ground Kramers doublet of the Nd3+ ion in the chain magnet Nd2BaNiO5 are studied. An antiferromagnetic phase transition manifests itself as anomalies in all these dependences. The parameters of the Nd-Ni and Nd-Nd interactions are estimated. The field dependence of the magnetization has two anomalies. A strong magnetic anisotropy prevents the magnetic moments of the Nd3+ ion from deviating from axis c in the crystal even in an external magnetic field. Abstract In the melts of Te, Se, S, I2 and Mg3Bi2 the nonmetal-metal transitions were found under pressure. The transitions are accompanied by a decrease of the volume. The transitions seem to terminate at high temperature by “critical regions”. For S and Se the kinetics of the transitions and the pressure influence on the solidification of the melts were investigated. The existence of the transitions of this kind gives an explanation of anomalies of melting curves of some substances. 相似文献

The Lagrangian based theory of the gravitational field and its sources at the arbitrary background space-time is developed. The equations of motion and the energy-momentum tensor of the gravitational field are derived by applying the variational principle. The gauge symmetries of the theory and the associated conservation laws are investigated. Some properties of the energymomentum tensor of the gravitational field are described in detail and the examples of its application are given. The desire to have the total energymomentum tensor as a source for the linear part of the gravitational field leads to the universal coupling of gravity with other fields (as well as to the self-interaction) and finally to the Einstein theory. 相似文献

Construction of the butterfly diagrams for the magnetic helicity in several approximations of a Parker dynamo has been carried
out. The diagrams are constructed both for the cases of efficient generation of the magnetic field (large dynamo numbers)
and for the weak generation (a small dynamo number). The corresponding asymptotic solution to the solar dynamo is used in
the first case. The butterfly diagrams for different values of the meridional circulation were studied due to this solution.
The butterfly diagrams are constructed and based on the few-mode approximation, which is valid for moderate dynamo numbers.
The issue of which butterfly diagram features are common in all these approximations and can be compared with observational

We present thermodynamic and magnetic studies of single crystalline DyFe3(BO3)4. The data indicate an easy axis antiferromagnetic order below TN~ 38 K which we attribute to the Fe subsystem. The Dy subsystem remains paramagnetic down to the lowest investigated temperatures
of 2 K, but it is polarized by the Fe spins due to a f-d interaction. External magnetic field leads to a spin-flop transition
in the iron subsystem as well as to superposed magnetization in the Dy subsystem. The repopulation of two low-lying Kramers
doublets in Dy3+ ions results in well defined Schottky anomalies in specific heat and magnetization. 相似文献

The optical spectra of oriented SmFe3(BO3)4 single crystals are studied in the region of the f-f transitions in the Sm3+ ion by Fourier spectroscopy. The energies, the symmetry properties, and the exchange splittings of the Stark sublevels of the ground and 17 excited multiplets of the Sm3+ ion in a crystal field of symmetry D 3 are determined from the measured temperature dependences of polarized-radiation absorption spectra. The parameters of the crystal field acting on samarium ions and the parameters of the exchange interaction between Sm3+ and Fe3+ ions are found. The anisotropy of the effective exchange interaction is shown to be substantially stronger than the magnetic anisotropy, due to a strong crystal-field-induced mixing of the ground and excited multiplets. 相似文献
