The coordination behavior of rare earth (Ln (3+)) ions in N-methylacetamide (NMA) solution has been investigated at room temperature by Raman spectroscopy. The behavior of the symmetric Raman Ln-Cl stretching (nu Ln-Cl) band, and amide I (nu AI), and III (nu AIII) bands of NMA with the rare earth series is discussed in conjunction with the change in the coordination structure occurring in the middle of the rare earth series. A competition for a coordination equilibria between a Cl (-) ion and an NMA molecule from the rare earth chloride-NMA complex might occur in the middle rare earth region. It is demonstrated that the change in the coordination structure of Ln (3+) ions in NMA is due to an elimination of an NMA molecule.  相似文献

Pauferrol A (1), a unique chalcone derivative was isolated from the stems of Caesalpinia ferrea Mart, and the structure was determined on the basis of 2D-NMR spectroscopy to be a chalcone trimer fused by a cyclobutane ring. This new chalcone trimer showed potent inhibitory activity against human topoisomerase II, with an IC50 value of 2.1 μM, and cell proliferation inhibitory activity through the induction of apoptosis in human leukemia HL60 cells, with an IC50 value of 5.2 μM. To our knowledge, this is the first report of the isolation and structure of this chalcone trimer and its biological activity.  相似文献

We encountered a unique phenomenon of reaction velocity reversal during the silylation between mixed simple alcohols (A; AOH) and alpha- or beta-hydroxyketones (B; BOH). The present reaction system using anilinosilanes 1a [PhNH(TMS)] (TMS-A) and 1b [PhNH(TES)] (TES-A) with the catalytic TBAF (0.02 equiv) reagent showed that the order of silylation-velocity between the independent system and the mixed system was distinctively reversed [nu(A) > nu(B) approximately nu(B(mix)) > nu(A(mix))]. A total of seven examples indicate its high generality: AOH = linalool, 3-octanol; BOH = valeroin, benzoin, 5-hydroxy-4-methyl-3-undecanone. Time-dependent IR spectroscopy analysis rationally supported this speculation.  相似文献

We describe a simple and inexpensive SNP typing method by using sequence specific interstrand photocrosslinking via p-carbamoylvinyl phenol nucleosides. Interstrand photocrosslinking showed a high degree of single nucleotide specificity as high as 10(3)-fold and more, and can be used in the diagnostic detection of DNA sequences.  相似文献

Particle swarm optimization (PSO) combined with alternating least squares (ALS) is introduced to self-modeling curve resolution (SMCR) in this study for effective initial estimate. The proposed method aims to search concentration profiles or pure spectra which give the best resolution result by PSO. SMCR sometimes yields insufficient resolution results by getting trapped in a local minimum with poor initial estimates. The proposed method enables to reduce an undesirable effect of the local minimum in SMCR due to the advantages of PSO. Moreover, a new criterion based on global phase angle is also proposed for more effective performance of SMCR. It takes full advantage of data structure, that is to say, a sequential change with respect to a perturbation can be considered in SMCR with the criterion. To demonstrate its potential, SMCR by PSO is applied to concentration-dependent near-infrared (NIR) spectra of mixture solutions of oleic acid (OA) and ethanol. Its curve resolution performances are compared with SMCR with evolving factor analysis (EFA). The results show that SMCR by PSO yields significantly better curve resolution performances than those by EFA. It is revealed that SMCR by PSO is less sensitive to a local minimum in SMCR and it can be a new effective tool for curve resolution analysis.  相似文献

Ionic liquids composed of dicyanamide anion and various imidazolium-based cations were prepared, and the influence of structural variations such as substituting a hydrogen at 2-position and changing the sort of alkyl group at 1-position of imidazolium cations on their thermal behavior, density, solvatochromic effects, viscosity, ionic conductivity, and surface tension was characterized. The substitution of the 2-hydrogen for methyl group or N-methylimidazole decreases the fluidity and ionic conductivity, mainly caused by the increased cohesive energy associated with the increasing cation size. Chain branching at 1-position also gives rise to the pronounced depression of the fluidity and ionic conductivity, presumably as a consequence of the increased pi-pi interactions between imidazolium rings. We found that the surface tension of the present ionic liquids is in inverse proportion to the molar concentration, which can be originally rationalized on the basis of the hole theory.  相似文献

The conformation of antifreeze glycoprotein (AFGP) molecules adsorbed at the ice/water interface was studied by attenuated total reflection (ATR)-FTIR spectroscopy. Measurements were carried out for AFGP/D2O solution films formed on the surface of an ATR prism as a function of temperature. Using the FTIR spectrum from the O-D stretching band of D2O molecules, we monitored the supercooled and frozen states of the film and measured the thickness of the quasi-liquid layer (QLL) at the ice/prism interfaces. The AFGP structure was determined for the liquid, supercooled, and frozen states of the solution film using the amide I band spectra. No noticeable differences in conformation were observed in the solution conformation from room temperature down to the 15 K supercooling studied, whereas the alpha-helical content of AFGP suddenly increased when the supercooled solution film froze at -15 degrees C. This change in conformation can increase the overall interaction between the AFGP molecules and ice surface and allow a stronger adsorption. In contrast, the alpha-helical content of AFGP in the frozen film gradually decreased with increasing temperature and finally returned to its solution-state level at the melting point of D2O ice. This gradual decrease in the alpha-helix content directly correlates with the measured increase in QLL thickness. Finally, we conclude that the differences in the alpha-helix signals between the frozen and supercooled states indicate the conformational change of AFGP molecules upon adsorption at the ice/water interface, emphasizing the importance of the structure-function relationship, even for this highly flexible antifreeze.  相似文献

We have fabricated a microreactor incorporating vertically-aligned carbon nanotubes supporting Pt nanoparticles and found that the presence of aligned nanotubes significantly enhances the catalytic reaction and extends the catalyst lifetime as compared with conventional microreactors using a Pt metal film or Pt nanoparticles directly deposited on the channel walls.  相似文献

A novel strigolactone sorgomol, germination stimulant for root parasitic plants Striga and Orobanche, was isolated and structure was elucidated. Sorgomol was more active on Striga than on Orobanche and may be the immediate precursor of sorgolactone in the biosynthetic pathway of strigolactones.  相似文献
