The ion transport current was clearly observed across a bilayer lipid membrane (BLM) between two aqueous phases (W1, W2) containing 0.1 M CsCl. This indicates that Cs+ can spontaneously penetrate the BLM in the absence of any kind of transporter. In addition, the current density at a given potential between W1 and W2 increased using I? instead of Cl? as the counter ion. Our results strongly suggest that the cell membrane transport is partially responsible for the internal exposure of 134Cs and 137Cs.  相似文献

Abstract

Polymer-supported imidazoles were prepared by copolymerization of vinyl monomers containing imidazole moiety, styrene, and divinylbenzene with AIBN. The resulting polymers accelerated the reaction of octyl bromide with potassium thiocyanate, and the alkylation of an active methylene compound, benzyl cyanide, under phase-transfer conditions. The latter catalytic reaction afforded monoalkylated compound exclusively, although dialkylated compound was also obtained in monomeric alkylimidazole catalyzed reaction. Further, these polymers served as phase-transfer catalysts for the reduction of acetophenone by sodium borohydride. The relationship between the structure and catalytic activity, and the factors governing these catalytic reactions were examined.  相似文献

The expression mechanism of permselectivity through a gramicidin A (gA) channel between two aqueous phases (W1 and W2) was investigated. When the concentration of CsCl or CsBr in W1 was equivalent to that in W2, the single‐channel current was proportional to the absolute value of the applied membrane potential. Although the single‐channel current linearly increased with increasing electrolyte concentration in W1 and W2 until about 0.1 M (mol dm?3), it began to level off around 0.1 M, indicating that ion permeation across the channel pore is the rate‐determining step and that the saturation of the transporting ion within the channel pore provokes the leveling off. In the case of asymmetric composition of the electrolyte in W1 and W2, the monovalent cation and the counter anion were transported in the opposite direction through the gA channel pore or the bilayer lipid membrane around the gA channel. Finally, the experimental data was fitted using the Goldman‐Hodgkin‐Katz equation based on the relationship between the membrane potential and the single‐channel current to define the ratio of the diffusion coefficients of Cs+, Cl?, and Br? as 5.7 : 1.0 : 0.26.  相似文献

A real-time PCR quantification method for indigenous hydrocarbon-degrading bacteria (HDB) carrying the alkB gene in the soil environment was developed to investigate their distribution in soil. The detection limit of indigenous HDB by the method was 1?×?106 cells/g-soil. The indigenous HDB were widely distributed throughout the soil environment and ranged from 3.7?×?107 to 5.0?×?108 cells/g-soil, and the ratio to total bacteria was 0.1–4.3 %. The dynamics of total bacteria, indigenous HDB, and Rhodococcus erythropolis NDKK6 (carrying alkB R2) during bioremediation were analyzed. During bioremediation with an inorganic nutrient treatment, the numbers of these bacteria were slightly increased. The numbers of HDB (both indigenous bacteria and strain NDKK6) were gradually decreased from the middle stage of bioremediation. Meanwhile, the numbers of these bacteria were highly increased and were maintained during bioremediation with an organic nutrient. The organic treatment led to activation of not only the soil bacteria but also the HDB, so an efficient bioremediation was carried out.  相似文献

The early stages of the [3+2]-photocycloaddition of 1,4-dicyano-6-methylnaphthalene (6) with styrene (7) were investigated by UV–visible absorption and 1H NMR spectroscopy. An intermediate species was detected and characterized as 8-methyl-2-phenyl-1,2,2a,8-tetrahydroacenaphthylene-2a,5-dicarbonitrile (9). Computational studies explained the regioselective [3+2]-photocycloaddition at the 4,5-position of 6 to form zwitterion 8, and subsequent thermal transformation to form 9.  相似文献

We report on oscillation wavelength control in erbium-doped fiber ring lasers by adjusting the period of a mechanically induced long-period fiber grating (LPFG) inserted into the fiber ring resonator. Pump light is provided by a 974 nm laser diode (LD), the emission of which is coupled into the fiber ring resonator through a wavelength-division multiplexing coupler. Laser oscillation occurs with a threshold pump LD current of 40 mA, corresponding to a threshold pump power of 5 mW. When a periodic pressure of 0.81 N/mm is applied to form the LPFG, the fiber ring laser exhibits the tunable range of 40.9 nm, i.e., from 1563.1 to 1604 nm, by changing the grating period.  相似文献

Given a substitution σ ond letters, we define itsk-dimensional extension,E k (σ), for 0≤kd. Thek-dimensional extension acts on the set ofk-dimensional faces of unit cubes inR d with integer vertices. The extensions of a substitution satisfy a commutation relation with the natural boundary operator: the boundary of the image is the image of the boundary. We say that a substitution is unimodular (resp. hyperbolic) if the matrix associated to the substitution by abelianization is unimodular (resp. hyperbolic). In the case where the substitution is unimodular, we also define dual substitutions which satisfy a similar coboundary condition. We use these constructions to build self-similar sets on the expanding and contracting space for an hyperbolic substitution.  相似文献
