Starch nanoparticle (SNP)‐based pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) with core‐shell particle morphology (starch nanoparticle core/acrylic polymer shell) are produced via seeded, semi‐batch emulsion polymerization at 15 wt% SNP loading (relative to total polymer weight) and 40 wt% latex solids. Crosslinker and chain transfer agent (CTA) are introduced to the acrylic shell polymer formulation at a range of concentrations according to a 32 factorial design to tailor the latex and adhesive properties of SNP‐based latexes. The crosslinker and CTA show no significant effect on polymerization kinetics, particle size, and viscosity. Latex gel content is predicted using an empirical model, which is a function of crosslinker and CTA concentration. Both the gel content and glass transition temperature strongly affect the adhesive properties (tack, peel strength, and shear strength) of the SNP‐based latex films. 3D response surfaces for the adhesive properties are constructed to facilitate the design of SNP‐based PSAs with desired properties. 相似文献

The morphological structure of poly(3‐hexylthiophene) (P3HT) thin films deposited by both Matrix Assisted Pulsed Laser Evaporation (MAPLE) and solution spin‐casting methods are investigated. The MAPLE samples possessed a higher degree of disorder, with random orientations of polymer crystallites along the side‐chain stacking, π–π stacking, and conjugated backbone directions. Moreover, the average molecular orientations and relative degrees of crystallinity of MAPLE‐deposited polymer films are insensitive to the chemistries of the substrates onto which they were deposited; this is in stark contrast to the films prepared by the conventional spin‐casting technique. Despite the seemingly unfavorable molecular orientations and the highly disordered morphologies, the in‐plane charge carrier transport characteristics of the MAPLE samples are comparable to those of spin‐cast samples, exhibiting similar transport activation energies (56 vs. 54 meV) to those reported in the literature for high mobility polymers. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A new white-rot fungus SYBC-L1, which could produce an extracellular laccase, was isolated from a decayed Elaeocarpus sylvestris. The strain was identified as Pycnoporus sp. SYBC-L1 according to the morphological characteristics and ribosomal ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 RNA genomic sequence analysis. The
highest laccase activity of 24.1 U ml−1, which was approximately 40-fold than that in basal medium, was achieved in optimal culture medium in submerged fermentation.
The laccase produced by Pycnoporus sp. SYBC-L1 was not only a cold adaptation enzyme with a relative catalytic activity of 30.2% at 0°C but also a high thermostable
enzyme. The half-lives at 60, 70 and 80°C were 85.5, 37.2, and 2.6 h, respectively. The laccase could effectively decolorize
weak acid blue AS and diamond black PV up to 88% and 74.7%, respectively, within 2 h in the absence of any redox mediators.
The results suggested Pycnoporus sp. SYBC-L1 was a potential candidate for laccase production and industrial application. 相似文献

We report the first observation of a B meson decay that is not accessible by a direct spectator process. The channel B(0)-->D(+)(s)K- is found in a sample of 85 x 10(6) BB; events, collected with the Belle detector at KEKB, with a branching fraction B(B(0)-->D(+)(s)K-)=(4.6(+1.2)(-1.1)+/-1.3) x 10(-5). We also obtain evidence for the B0-->D(+)(s)pi(-) decay with branching fraction B(B0-->D(+)(s)pi(-))=(2.4(+1.0)(-0.8)+/-0.7) x 10(-5). The paper presents the functional expression of V-A characteristics dependent on hydrostatic pressure up to 5 kbar for chalcogenide glass Ge15Te81S2As2. The measured V-A characteristics and those derived on the assumption of a linear decrease of the energy gap due to pressure have been compared. Temperature changes caused by current passing through the sample in thermal contact with the environment have been taken into consideration similarly as in the case of paper (2).In conclusion we wish to express our thanks to Doc.
