The enzymeless glucose oxidation process readily occurs on nano‐gold electrocatalyst at pH 7, but it is highly susceptible to poisoning (competitive binding), for example from protein or chloride. Is it shown here that gold nanoparticle catalyst can be protected against poisoning by a polymer of intrinsic microporosity (PIM‐EA‐TB with BET surface area 1027 m2 g?1). This PIM material when protonated, achieves a triple catalyst protection effect by (i) size selective repulsion of larger protein molecules (albumins) and (ii) membrane ion selection effects, and (iii) membrane ion activity effects. Superhydrophilic surfaces without the need of other stimuli are usually realized by constructing a rough morphology. However, constructing rough surfaces usually require specialized equipment or complicated processing. Besides, rough surfaces can cause undesirable scattering, which strongly limits the use in optical devices. In this article, we prepared superhydrophilic TiO2 films with ultra-smooth surfaces using simple sol-gel dip-coating method. The hydrophilicity of the TiO2 films varied with different post-heat treatments. The films heat-treated at 400?°C exhibited a durable superhydrophilicity and anti-fogging property. This superhydrophilicity was attributed to the decrease of surface hydrophobic alkoxy groups and the formation of point defects, i.e., Ti3+ and oxygen vacancies, which are favourable for dissociative water adsorption. The amount of surface organic groups was influenced by autophobicity effects, further hydrolysis and decomposition of residual alkoxy groups. Additionally, the wettability behaviours of the films were also explained from the perspective of the surface energy. These results can benefit the design and manufacture of anti-fogging and self-cleaning superhydrophilic TiO2 films.
Sinojackia sarcocarpa L.Q. Luo has high aesthetic value, which is clinically used to treat diseases such as the variations of arthritis, thromboangiitis obliterans, angina pectoris as well as many other diseases. Pentacyclic triterpenoids are the main pharmacological effective compounds. High-speed counter-current chromatography method was performed on a Midi-DE centrifuge at 25°C. The solvent system was n-hexane-ethylacetate-methanol-water (10:5:3:1, v/v). Peak fractions were collected according to the elution profile for subsequent high-performance liquid chromatography analysis. The structure identification was performed by ultraviolet, infrared, mass spectrometry, (1)H-NMR and (13)C-NMR. Compound 2α,3α,19β,23β-tetrahydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid and 2α,3α,23β-trihydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid were purified from the plant of Styracaceaen genius for the first time, whose purities were 96.57% and 97.33%, respectively. Compared with the same dose of oral 5-fluorouracil with 57.6% inhibition rate, the S(180) tumour inhibition rates of 20 mg kg(-1)d(-1) two compounds were 59.5% and 48.9%, respectively. 相似文献
