Resistivity－temperature characteristics of sol gel YBa2Cu3Oy samples synthesized in flowing oxygen atmosphere

The relationship of resistivity versus synthesizing temperature of sol gel YBa_2Cu_3O_y samples was studied when prepared under flowing oxygen conditions. A set of high-temperature ρ－T curves was obtained for the whole process. After the sample finished the test measuring, its resistivity was ρ_{300}=9.83×10^{-3 }Ω·cm at room temperature. The ρ－T curve also showed that the orthorhombic－tetragonal phase transformation of sol-gel YBa_2Cu_3O_y sample occurred at 581℃ for the sample in the rising temperature process, but at 613℃ in the cooling process, lower than that of the samples made by using the conventional powder metallurgy methods.     

The asymptotic behaviors of a stage-structured autonomous predator-prey system with time delay

In this paper, we consider an autonomous predator-prey Lotka-Volterra system in which individuals in the population may belong to one of two classes: the immatures and the matures, the age to maturity is represented by a time delay. By using eigenvalue analysis, principal term analyze method, reduction to absurdity, and iterative method, we obtain some simple conditions for global asymptotic stability of the unique positive equilibrium point. Moreover, a condition that the prey population in the system get extinction and the predator population in the system get permanence will be obtained. Meanwhile the theorems extend the corresponding conclusions in which there have no two stage structures.     

2,9-disubstituted 1,10-phenanthroline nickel complexes: Syntheses,characterization, and their ethylene oligomerization

Nickel complexes 1–4 ligated with 2,9-disubstituted-1,10-phenanthroline were synthesized and characterized by FT-IR spectra and elemental analysis. The molecular structure of complex 2 was confirmed by X-ray crystal diffraction analysis. Activated with methylaluminoxane (MAO), those complexes showed moderate activities for ethylene oligomerization. Published in Kinetika i Kataliz, 2007, Vol. 48, No. 5, pp. 710–714. Anti-BZ-Structure in Effect Algebras

The definitions of sharply approximating effect algebras, anti-BZ-effect algebras, central approximating effect algebras, and S-anti-BZ-effect algebras are given, the relationships between sharply approximating effect algebras and anti-BZ-effect algebras, between central approximating effect algebras and anti-BZ-effect algebras are established, and the set of anti-BZ-sharp elements in S-anti-BZ-effect algebras is proved to be an orthomodular lattice.     

基于MMD算法的HMM参数重估计的矩阵表示

本文提出的MMD算法用于提高模型区别错误信息和正确信息的能力．利用该算法在对模型的参数进行重估计时．涉及到复杂的目标函数的梯度运算．击运用矩阵运算使得梯度运算变得简单明了，因此本文给出了MMD算法下的HMM参数重估计的矩阵表示形式并给出了证明．     

Evidence for internal resistive barriers in a crystal of the giant dielectric constant material: CaCu3Ti4O12

Complex impedance spectra were obtained on a crystal of CaCu₃Ti₄O₁₂ (CCTO) from 289 to 456 K. As in the case of ceramic CCTO, these spectra can be interpreted as arising from a conducting material containing insulating barriers. This is then further evidence for the existence of planar defects within crystals of CCTO that act as insulating barriers and produce the large dielectric constant through a space charge mechanism.     

Towards a realistic Einstein-Gauge cosmology

We present the cosmological solutions in the six-dimensional Einstein-gauge theory to which is added a matter term. The general behavior of the scale factors of the ordinary (R₃) and extra (R₂) dimensions can be depicted in four stages. Stage 1: Both R₃ and R₂ expand. Stage 2: R₂ is a constant and R₃ is an inflationary solution. Stage 3: R₂ recollapses towards its minimum value, R₃ will continue to increase monotonically. Stage 4: R₂ stabilizes at R_KK and R₃ expands in the usual FRW way, while the four-dimensional cosmological constant becomes zero.

Crystallographic report: Bis(isonicotinonitrile)cadmium diselencyanate, [Cd(SeCN)2(pyCN)2] (pyCN = isonicotinonitrile)

The title compound, [Cd(SeCN)₂(pyCN)₂]_∞, adopts an extended one‐dimensional chain structure in which the neighboring cadmium atoms are bridged by two selenocyanate ions.
