Constraints on the number of maximal independent sets in graphs

A maximal independent set of a graph G is an independent set that is not contained properly in any other independent set of G. Let i(G) denote the number of maximal independent sets of G. Here, we prove two conjectures, suggested by P. Erdös, that the maximum number of maximal independent sets among all graphs of order n in a family Φ is o(3^n/3) if Φ is either a family of connected graphs such that the largest value of maximum degrees among all graphs of order n in Φ is o(n) or a family of graphs such that the approaches infinity as n → ∞.

Mössbauer studies on the hydrogenation and dehydrogenation of Nd16Fe76B8 magnet

Hydrogenation and dehydrogenation of the Nd₁₆Fe₇₆B₈ magnet are studied by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and Mössbauer spectroscopy. The results of the samples treated under different hydrogen gas pressures at different temperatures are discussed. A special hydrogenation-dehydrogenation treatment of the Nd?Fe?B magnet cast can produce excellent isotropic magnet powders and the treated sample has passed a hydrogenation-disproportionation-recombination process.     

Features of evolution of the substructure in the creep of dispersion-hardened nickel

A study is made of the laws governing high-temperature creep and the evolution of the substructure in dispersion-hardened alloy Ni — 3 vol. % HfO₂ during its free annealing and creep. The polygonized substructure was formed in the alloy prior to annealing. An analysis is made of structural transformations at different structural levels and the mechanism of high-temperature creep in the alloy. 钴（Ⅱ）—丁二酮单肟烟酰腙—亚硝酸盐体系的伏安行为及其应用

在氨性介质中(pH=9.0),钴(Ⅱ)-丁二酮单肟烟酰腙(DMNH)-亚硝酸盐体系可产生灵敏度很高的催化波。从体系的伏安行为可知,吸附于汞电极上的是混配的配盐NH_4[Co(Ⅱ)(DMNH)·(NO_2)_2],在-1.0 V(相对SCE)处,Co(Ⅱ)被还原至Co(0),DMNH被还原成自由基,由于NO_2~-的存在,自由基可参与再生反应而形成催化波。羟氨的存在可使产生催化波的最佳pH值移至8.2.用此体系进行了生物样品中钴的测定,其检出限为1×10~(-10)mol/L。     

四溴双酚A锑铝双金属化合物的合成及其阻燃性能

以四溴双酚Ａ（ＴＢＡ）合成了在水和空气中稳定的四溴双酚Ａ合锑铝双金属化合物（ＴＢＡＳＡ）．通过ＩＲ、１ＨＮＭＲ和元素分析予以表征，并研究了其对聚乙烯（ＰＥ）和聚环氧乙烷（ＰＥＯ）的阻燃性能．结果表明，这种分子中含有溴、锑和铝的化合物，对聚乙烯和聚环氧乙烷等高聚物材料有高的阻燃性能与消烟效果．     

N2（A）及N（2D）对IF（X）的传能研究

在微波放电系统中,对NH_3-F-F_2-CF_3I体系进行研究,结果表明,向IF(X)传能的诸多媒介中,N_2(A)及N(~2D)起着主要作用,并且这一结论在经微波激发后的N_2与CF_3I的直接反应中得到了进一步证实。
